Dr. Shelton's office has been my go to constant vet clinic since I moved to north McKinney 11 years ago. My dogs began with Dr. Means until she retired from her role there. They now see Dr. Shelton and he is a top class vet, his experience and demeanor are more then you could ask for from your vet. My dogs will only go to 380 West Animal Hospital they have my 110% trust and have been there to help my family through some very heart breaking moments with my families pack. If you live in McKinney I would recommend 380 West Animal Hospital over any clinic in the area. Wealth of knowledge and compassion with a great staff. The best!

We’ve been seeing Dr Shelton for over 10 years. We love his bedside manner and everyone is very helpful and friendly. We wouldn’t trust anyone else with Murphy!

This is my 2nd pet to bring here. I trust Dr. shelton and My sister trusts her animals to Dr. Meads care. It's past at least 2 other vets, but I'd rather come here.

Our little puppy was very sick. They took great care of her and had empathy for us. They do a great job.

I absolutely love this place! Everyone is amazing from front office, vet assistant, and vets. I cannot say enough about this place other than I’m so lucky to have found them. They take amazing care of our French bulldog Malibu and her puppies.

The Vets, Staff, and Buster the house cat are always so pleasant, kind, and gentle with my furrbabies. I have gone here for years and never disappointed ????

I was very pleased with our visit. Dr Wise was awesome. She was thorough, informative and very personable. Kassie has been doing much better.

We absolutely love going to 380 W.! Even though we moved from McKinney we still drive the distance, as we know our fur babies (two dogs, two cats) are getting the absolute best care here. They’re so responsive to any questions or concerns we may have, and emails are always answered in a timely manner. You can’t go wrong here!

Dr. Wise is compassionate and caring. She answered all of our questions about our sick dog and when it came time to put him down she showed her very caring side.

We have taken our pets to Dr. Shelton for many years, even before he opened his own clinic (380 West Animal Hospital). We first met Dr. Shelton when he practiced at another veterinary clinic. We liked him so much we found out where he moved and drive a much further distance for him to treat our current pet. He is personable, compassionate and he has a friendly staff.

Quick, timely, and through visit. We have been using Dr. Shelton for years and have always been satisfied with the service, care, and treatment of our animals.

Such amazing drs and staff. We have been coming here for 11 years and are so thankful for all they do for our pets.

The gals at this hospital are super hard-working and always friendly. I reccomend this hospital to all my family and friends. They definitely deserve 5 stars!

We have been going here for 10 years and cannot get an appointment for shots even though I received a reminder email. The front desk person said they are only taking emergency situations. Dr Shelton himself is great but I feel very strongly that the front desk management needs to change. One of our pets had cancer last year and we were supposed to receive a quote on surgery costs by the front desk and never received. This has happened to us multiple times during the 10 years where follow up was missed. We hate to have to go somewhere else as Dr Shelton is very kind and this is the closest vet to our home, but it’s just not pleasant trying to get an appointment.

I have been using Dr Shelton for over 10 years! First, was for my cat Jack, and now for my rescue Murphy! He has been great with both of my fur babies! Dr Shelton takes the time to care for each pet with his expert knowledge. I trust that he knows what’s best for my much loved babies! The staff is very professional and kind as well.

First, I want to say that I love Dr Shelton! He’s been so kind and considerate and always very thorough. I would have given 5 stars if not for the incident on thursday with the office closing. This week my old dog started having seizures. I made an appt and was called the day before to say they were closing that day to only see emergencies and wanted to cancel my appt. I feel that the seizures my dog was having was an emergency. I was able to leave work early and take my dog in. Dr Wise was nice, gave me the info I needed and we left with a plan. During the night, I dog bc very ill and I called first thing in the morning to ask about the best option as he was obviously suffering. This dog is my sons best friend and it was my sons first day of school. My son begged me not to put him down til he was with us and he could say goodbye. They demanded I bring him before noon as they were closing…bc of COVID?!? Really?! I work in dental and so I dont see why a vets office would need to close. Very inconsiderate in my opinion. Dr Wise was very sweet, comforting, gave me all the instructions on what theyd do and what to expect and allowed me to stay with him. Thank you Dr Shelton for being so amazing and taking care of my dogs over the years.

We have been going to 380 West Animal Hospital for over 15 years now. We first met with Dr. Shelton when he diagnosed a problem with our Scottie dog that we had been having for quite a while and yet our veterinarian in Ohio hadn't figured it out. Four dogs later, we have had nothing but more than excellent care at 380 along with two other new doctors joining the staff. We would highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for outstanding care for their pets.

Dr. Wise was extremely knowledgeable and compassionate. I really appreciated her guidance and comfort as we face end of life decisions for our sweet dog.

So far we have loved it here. My dog loves coming and doesn't act scared or nervous here. All I have to say is "want to get your pawdicure" and he is out the door to the car.
