My dog loves coming to 2nd family!! Highly recommend

Very nice & clean facility with good outdoor video cameras to see what your furry pet is doing ????. We have left our golden doodle here several times and he comes back safe and well. Would give 5 star if they had full video coverage for indoors / all-crates as well so you could watch your pet at all times.

Would not recommend them for boarding or full day care. Staff is not reliable with feeding dogs when provided food to do so. If my dog was not fed, I should be able to get that food back, right? No, I'm not entitled to it, and apparently it's odd to ask for it back. When asked about it (after watching closely to see if they were doing their job), their response was simple, "I don't know", and "we only feed them as a courtesy". Or in other words, you can give us food, but if they don't get fed, not our problem. Thankfully, I never chose to board with them. They did not like when I characterized it as, me providing food (that I paid money for), for them to 'starve' my dog. I guess the more appropriate word I should have used was 'neglect'. At least they have webcams that you can see what service they're really providing. I suggest you check on your dog every once in a while to see if they're receiving the care that they deserve. Don't let the smiles at the front door fool you. Update: Owner tried reaching out but just wanted to talk and then hung up. I can see that she trained the staff there.

We boarded our dog for the first time this past Thanksgiving holiday, and we were nervous! 2nd family was so helpful, and kind to our anxious small dog. The Webcams definitely provide a piece of mind if your dogs has not socialized a lot. We have decided to continue to use them for daycare service once a week since our pup was so happy there ???? They were even able to provide nail trimming services while he stayed! We are VERY impressed.

I love this daycare for my wild crazy rescue pup and I'm so glad I found it! It's a very convenient location with super friendly staff. I love being able to schedule daycare online and watch my dog on the webcams. Thank you to the wonderful staff at 2nd Family for being patient with my dog as we get him more socialized, we will continue to come here as long as we can!

We use 2nd family for boarding and the occasional daycare and couldn’t be more pleased with the quality of service and the video streams we can watch of our golden retriever. One tip - be sure to book far in advance for holidays because they get very busy.

3 year update: Over the past 3 years, I have had the opportunity to get to know several of the young men and women at 2nd Family. What makes 2nd Family extraordinary is not its clean and modern facility, location, or the ability to see my pup on camera, but rather the people who care for my little dude. They genuinely love working with dogs and have mastered the art of customer service. I am so grateful that we found 2nd Family. They truly are my pup's second family. 2 year update: I wish I would have enrolled my pup at 2nd Family when we first adopted him at 8 weeks old. Originally, we were taking him to Petco’s “Puppy Playtime” for socialization. As part of the company’s policy, smaller puppies were separated from larger puppies. Oftentimes, he would be the only larger breed puppy in attendance, with a gate separating him from the other puppies. It absolutely broke my heart to watch my little buddy lie his head on the floor and cry inconsolably as he watched the other puppies playing together without him. Now my little dude has plenty of friends to play with at 2nd Family and he couldn’t be happier. My pup has been going to 2nd Family Dogs for almost a year now. However, I have held off on giving a glowing review of 2nd Family for purely selfish reasons. We love 2nd Family!! Why? Their facility is modern and clean. 2nd Family has large indoor and outdoor play yards. The outdoor play yards have shade for the dogs to retreat from the sun. I can view my baby via web cam at any time of day. The dogs have a daily schedule that allows for both play time and quiet nap time. The young men and women at the front desk are always warm and welcoming, greeting my little dude by name. Most importantly, I trust ALL of the people who work at 2nd Family to take good care of my pup. My pup looks forward to going to daycare so much that he can’t get out of my car fast enough at 2nd Family to see his doggy friends.

My friends had to put their puppy to sleep today as a result of a stay at second family. I’ve watched his condition deteriorate over the last six months, today the vets said it was finally time. They suspect that he had a spine injury, second family acknowledged that it was noted that he was walking with a limp but said nothing to them when they picked him up. He was only 2 yrs old. He was a happy, energetic golden doodle with NO health problems prior to staying there. They’re devastated, and so am I, he was such a good boy. RIP Beemo.

We had our 2 dogs here for an overnight stay while we got married, and I have nothing but great things to say about 2nd Family Dogs! The staff is super cheerful and helpful, tou can tell they really care for and love the animals in their care. The facility was well kept and you can even see your pups on the big screen located in the lobby. The play areas and kennels are very nice and neat as well!

We picked our frenchie up yesterday after getting back from our family vacation. My husband and I noticed that our Luna girl was not acting herself, nasty gunk coming out of her eyes, and had little red bumps ALL OVER her body. She had also been sneezing alot. I ran all over last night trying to find an ER vet that could diagnose her. Turns out she was having an allergic reaction to something from 2nd Family Dogs. To what? We don’t know. The last thing we want to do after paying to have her boarded, is to turn right back around and pay for a vet to diagnose these issues she was having. This was our first time to board her and this is the 1st place we chose. I don’t think we will be back ????

My puppies loved this place. Staff are very caring. UPDATED : 9/18 - Lately we are experiencing negligence from the staff and this place. May be the quality is effected due to the quantity. Not sure whats going on but I do feel that, the caring essence is fading away from this place and becoming a business place. Also, It looks like this place is run by Kids and I understand their lack of experience shows. Anyways, Hope they turn things around and remember why they started this place. We have 3 Dogs and we will look for alternate options.

Wow these people hit a home run did a great job to good care of my fur babies while we were out of town for a funeral we will start using them regularly from now on.

My pup has been going to 2nd Family Dogs for 3 years and he's still overly excited when it's time to go. EVERY staff member treats him with lots of love as soon as we hit the door. Wouldn't suggest any other place for your dog. Truly a 2nd family ❤

UPDATE : Director contacted me for the update and followed up on how Simba is doing . We took him to the vet and vet said he might have sprained his leg gave some medicine. Now he is doing better and we are happy he had nothing serious . Thanks to the director for their concern and follow up . ......... I am really sad and upset after receiving my pup from boarding. He was very weak and not sure what happened to his hind left leg. He was limping very badly . It was really heart broken to see my pup in such condition. We love him so much and treat him like a prince. My 9 year old daughter literally cried after seeing him so sick and limping. He was so much healthy and happy when we dropped him . I had a doubt something was wrong when he was not jumping with a joy that he usually does after seeing us. I wish they could atleast tell us what went wrong . Management can check the camera Wed Jun 30 afternoon around 12.30 noon when we dropped vs the webcam on July 2nd Friday 5.30 pm where they can clearly see him limping while getting into the car. Initially I thought he was sleepy or tired later after coming home i realized he was still lymping and screaming with pain when we massaged his leg. We have vet appointment on Tuesday because of holiday on Monday. Totally totally heart broken. I will never recommend this boarding service to anyone.

They have taken wonderful care of my dogs every time I’ve boarded them or taken them for day care. I love that you can check in on the pups with the webcams too!

Wow. I have so much to say but I’ll keep it short. Up until a couples months ago I didn’t trust anyone, but family, with my baby Max. The first day, I’ll admit, I was terrified to leave him. Throughout the day that feeling went away though as I got to watch him on the webcams they have. 2nd Family Dogs is freaking amazing. Every person on their staff is so kind and has amazing customer service. If you have a dog that needs daycare or boarding this is the place to go. Max gets so excited to go see all his friends every morning and I just love that. It really is his 2nd family!

We have always had a great experience with 2nd family dogs. My dog realizes where he is going and gets very, very excited! We utilize the daycare and there boarding. Very friendly and professional staff. Our only issue is that they have gotten sooo busy that we have to book daycare a week or so in advance. Hopefully they will expand or open another location. Maybe we should not have recommended to all our friends! LOL!!

This place is perfect if you want your puppy eaten by other dogs! The staff is so hands-on that they were completely unaware of my mom’s puppy having a huge chomp mark across his legs and stomach. Extremely disappointed. EDIT: I changed my star rating to a 4 because the boys love going there and the staff helped Lou get moved to the small dog room so he can try to avoid being a snack in the future!

I've used all 3 services 2nd Family Dogs offers, mostly daycare. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with the most friendliest and upbeat staff. You're also able to view all of the webcams in the lobby. They safely secure each dog as they exit the facility for each family. For your convenience, they offer a covered drive-up lane and plenty of parking spots in their lot. A big + when it's raining or you have multiple dogs, like myself. What has been a game changer for me is you can make an online reservation for all of their services, including the detailed options for grooming. You can add your dogs profile and also have your vet forward their updated vaccine records. 2nd Family Dogs will always email you reminders of upcoming vaccines needed to continue service with them. I've had to board my 3 dogs for multiple days. I can always rest assured they are taken care of from the level of care their kennel staff gives. I highly recommend 2nd Family Dogs for all of their services!!!

It's a large and neat facility. My dog loves going there. However, I was told today that the daycare was full and they needed a reservation 2 weeks in advance. That's a deal-breaker.
