We have been customers for a long time and we are always treated great. Friendly and professional, and caring staff! DRS. CHAVEZ, PEACOCK, AND LAMISON are outstanding in their field. Highly recommend these Drs. and staff.

We are new to this area and had been referred by a friend after a bad experience with Border hospital in Weslaco. We made an appointment online but ended up needing to get in before our scheduled appointment ASAP. I called at 4:00 pm. The person I spoke with put me on hold to talk to the vet. The doctor rearranged her schedule so we could get in early the next morning. First off, we are not established patients, so the vet willing to do this for us is a person with much compassion and understanding. We were so appreciative to this doctor and the person who took my call and talked to the vet on our behalf. We checked in with a very pleasant front desk staff. All were accommodating to our needs. After a 4 hour wait in the waiting room at the Border Hospital, we were expecting much the same here as well. Much to our surprise, our appointment was on time. I can’t say enough positive things about the staff in the exam room, from the medical assistants to Dr. Clarivel Chavez. They all were patient and gentle with our dog. Dr. Chavez was so attentive to our needs as well as her exam of our dog. She took her time, never made us feel rushed, answered all of our questions, and was very honest with her answers. Although the outcome is not going to be a happy one for us, we knew that going in with our very arthritic 14 year old dog. This veterinarian clinic, staff, and doctors, are one of the best I have been to in a long time. We are so thankful to have found them. Their kindness, compassion, and thoughtful care of our dog (and us) are exceptional. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Update: I have had all my zoo plus some rescue babies in now over the last 8 months and I can't say enough positive things about this team. Every single person in that office has obvious love and compassion for animals and their people. I highly recommend!! The doctor was very compassionate and helpful. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and called back quickly when needed. I will be taking all my fur and feathered babies here from now on!

Waiting time was less than 20 mins. The staff & the Dr were amazing. The doctor took her time & answered every single one of my questions & was so sweet. I will be bringing my baby here only from now on.

I absolutely love the staff & Dr. Lamison, Dr. Peacock & Dr. Chavez at North 10th Street Animal Hospital!!! They saved my dog’s life (Bella, golden retriever) about a year ago!!! I can’t put into words how much I appreciate them or thank them enough. They’re very attentive to the questions I have & treated Bella like she was their own.

Very happy with Dr. Chávez but extremely dissatisfied with the front office staff as they do not do a follow through with your urgent request, and if they mess up your pets prescriptions do not expect an apology.

Arrived at 1:15 for my dog’s 2:30 appointment. It’s 3:00 pm. We’ve been in the exam room for 30 minutes. No sign of a vet and no explanation. I’ll update my review after we see the vet. But so far, I’m not very happy. Staff is nice enough, but that can’t really make up for over a 30 minute wait. (And we are STILL waiting at 3:04. The clock is ticking. My time is precious, too.)

They did what they needed to do with my kitty to help her get better. I was given constant updates on procedures she needed to get done and further more explained why it was needed. Nothing was done to her without staff first asking if they could and if it would be added to the bill. I loved the care they gave to my pet. Definitely recommended.

The nicest veterinary office staff I’ve ever encountered. They take thorough care of my pets and answer all of my questions with time and care. I have never felt rushed nor like I have had to wait an excessive amount of time. Fast efficient and kind. Checks all the boxes.

I always feel welcomed and I do like the way my pets are treated and its always easy to communicate with Vets that honestly care about my pets .

I’m very pleased with the changes made over the last year. Appointment time was honored with very little wait whereas in the past it was crowded and there was a long wait. I felt like the vet took her time to thoroughly examine my elderly anxious dog and make her comfortable. They helped my find pet medication at a more reasonable price and trimmed my dogs nails. I’m very happy with the care they provided.

The North 10th Street Animal Hospital provides the primary veterinary care for our rescued cat, Mr. Cat. They provide excellent care and customer service. They provide us with options and pricing upfront, which I very much appreciate so there are no surprise bills.

Dr. Chavez is always so patient and informative, her gestures show us how genuine she is with My sweet boy Diesel. The technicians and all staff always help us feel so welcomed and accommodating for my gentle giant even though we have a flare for the dramatics :/ We are so very grateful for their kindness and Diesel loves the cheese :) As a very protective Pitbull Mom I highly recommend North 10th Animal Hospital! This place will put you in collections without reaching out to you directly and not stating what they’re billing you for. I had to call them directly (which is nearly impossible to get a hold of) just to see why. Huge waste of time and extremely stressful.

Very good vet clinic. Dr. Dell listened to my concerns. She offered choices and explained each option clearly. Everyone was kind and caring. It was a good experience after having a bad experience at another clinic far away. I made another appointment for my other dogs for their checkups and vaccinations.

Wait times once we got into the exam room were excessive. We probably waited over 20 minutes for the tech to come back in. Too much talking and laughing going on in the back.

Quick visit didn’t have to wait to long with appointment doctor very professional and caring great staff

I recently moved from College Station, where exotic care is more readily available, and I was very happy to find this clinic upon my move. The staff was very nice and the atmosphere was positive. My ferret was experiencing adrenal gland issues and Dr. Lamison was very thorough and helpful. She really loves what she does and that's always great to have in a vet. They are a bit understaffed according to some signs within their clinic, so please be patient and kind with them! They really are great and worth the wait.

COVID precautions were great! Wait time was less then 10 minutes…. Even when we were roomed, it was less than 5 minutes before the tech came in. My pup received 3 vaccines, heart worm check, and all said & done under 35 minutes. The vet and all her staff were exceptional with my pup and with me.

The staff is super efficient and Dr Carson is an amazing loving vet. She goes beyond excellent care for my animals

I was so happy for my dogs first visit with Dr. Lamison. The office is running by appointment on time, Staff is all courteous and attentive. I am so happy I changed my furry son to this clinic.
