Disappointed in my interactions with this business. I was clear in my description of my dog in terms of breed and weight and the price changed by $70 in less than 24 hours when I attempted to book. Then when I explained I was looking for a long term consistent groomer and asked for the price of a wash and defurminator on a second dog, they wanted to charge the same price for a less intensive service. I don’t feel like the business is fair with pricing or transparent. In response to the owner’s comment: I don’t know who you think I am or what you’re talking about but I don’t have a husky and your response has nothing to do with my review. Also, the fact that you are mistaking me for someone else tells me others have had a similar poor experience with your business. With that being said, I also feel bad that anyone would feel the need to harass you even if they had a negative experience with your business. My only intention in writing this review is that you’ll do better business moving forward. I’d rather support local businesses over big brands but I was very disappointed when the price increased by $70 in less than 24 hours and you tried to quote me the same price for a less intensive service on my other dog.

We've had our dog groomed by smoochable for years. We missed our last appointment by 10 minutes because my work let me out late. I called groomer, she said to call main # to reschedule. I called and they told me they no longer are taking any new client's. We are not a new client....called again, no response, no call back after many calls to try to reschedule. Is this how they treat longtime customers now?

I'm aware that only BAD reviews are read by most people AND THIS ONE IS BAD - VERY BAD! My day started off as good as I could expect... I felt a great joy this morning while making my usual 3-egg, 2-pc toast breakfast. Now I know not everybody has Fur-Babies. Lots of folks just have pets they like but some of us really LOVE our dogs... My fur baby was standing at attention while I was busy flipping the eggs and I began to wonder if his olfactory nerves were overactive as a result of me forgetting to feed him his late snack last night. An extra egg for Wolfie was certainly doable, maybe three. It was after 3pm when Jodie arrived to give Wolfie a buzz cut and bath. What transpired after that was the WORST NIGHTMARE she could have imagined. (my dog is a HE). I'm not sure what was going through my dog's mind. Could it have been the experience he endured when my daughter came over a few days ago to (save me some bucks)? The eggs? (not part of his usual diet). As soon as the door shut on Jodie's "state of the art" dog grooming van with the stainless steel wash basin and adjustable height grooming table, air conditioner on the roof (like my rv), etc. The STUFF HIT THE FAN! Wolfie must have been having some sort of instant recurring nightmare because he SPRAYED the inside of the beautiful van with excrement. Not only that, but excrement was all over Jodie as well! That's ok, let's just get you in the bathtub and all cleaned up, get all that dog poo off of you, and onto the grooming tab..... And it happened again! It was like PROJECTILE VOMIT coming out the other end! DOG POO EVERYWHERE! Sorry, but after the third time it happened, THAT WAS IT! You can't imagine the embarrassment I had to endure. On top of everything else, she wouldn't take my money! Lesson learned here: Before grooming, find some valium (for dog and possibly groomer). Spend the first few minutes getting acquainted. Don't leave Wolfie's sight. (might have separation anxiety) I'm sorry but this won't happen again.... Now for the rest of the review... Once upon a time, I read on my boss's wall, a plaque that said. "Good Service is Doing What You Said You Were Going To Do, When You Said You Were Going To Do It." Smoochable Pooch lived up to this and more! She was 15% into the time window - 5 stars. She did her best with an incorrigible, unwilling participant - 5 stars. In light of this, I would have to rate the service with ten stars but there is only five available. If you have read this far, and think for a minute you can do better, by all means, be her guest, and I wish you luck - you'll need it!

I wanted to share my experience as I see many negative reviews. This grooming service was recommended to me by 2 friends. One friend extremely positive, the other not as positive; but obviously still good enough to recommend. My experience was awesome! I think they deserve the opportunity to earn your business. My Golden Retriever has major anxiety and took quickly to the goomer. She was quick to establish rapport with him and myself. She did exactly what I asked. Definitely earned my business! Thanks again for the service!

Highly recommend! We have a cat that does not tolerate car rides well and Jodie is so good with him. Always on time, never takes long, and reasonable pricing. Jodie is the best!

First time to use this service. We had a great experience and found them to have done a better job than our normal groomer. Mariana the groomer who came did an AWESOME job on our dog. Will definitely use them again.

I imagine they would only be good at grooming small dogs with short straight hair. I've seen and heard a few doodle complaints. And was turned away with them saying "uhhh we are gonna pass" after one grooming due to my goldendoodle being matted. Imagine that.. a curly haired dog being matted. Rude response and unprofessional. Would not recommend to anyone. Especially with any poodle mix. Your turn Smoochable... I'm sure you have some defense. UPDATE: they did in fact come back with a defensive response and questioned my dog mothering? As an owner of a business and a human, You should probably learn to take responsibility. But I guess that’s why you groom dogs. You’re rude. And unable to groom poodles.

I have always loved this place. I’m extremely disappointed because I have called AT LEAST 4 or 5 times since last week. I haven’t had one phone call back so I can get my dogs groomed. I have two small Pomeranians and I know the price and know what they get done. I’m in need of my babies getting groomed and I don’t even get a phone call back to schedule them an appointment. Unfortunately I will be calling someone else.

Such a wonderful job! I have a 5 month old Yorkie who just had his first grooming in their mobile pet salon. Not only was Nicole the groomer kind and understanding but she has a great love for what she does and my pup loved her as well. Smoochable Pooch Mobile Pet Salon not only responded back quickly but gave me all the information and reassurance I needed. I was also surprised they came out to my location in Midlothian as well. Overall a great experience and I already scheduled my next appointment! WOULD RECOMMEND!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY... I was a customer for this company for almost 2 1/2yrs. They went from good service to absolutely horrible in the last year. There were a handful of times they didn’t show up as scheduled over the years. I didn’t mind and I continued to use their service. However just recently they have put my family and pet in a terrible situation. We had service scheduled just this past weekend. After they claimed we “never” rescheduled from the last time. Come the scheduled appt, they were a no call no show. My wife has left messages with them and still has not got a return call or explanation. It’s very hot this summer and my dog’s hair is completely over grown. Not only is the service terrible it seems like they don’t care to repair their reputation. They use your own water and are not reliable. Save yourself the trouble and use a more reliable groomer. I hope they are ran out of Southwind Community. UPDATE... please see picture for the type of customer service provided. She is lying to save face. She never called to reschedule with my wife and is now texting my wife messages like this. Her constant excuses are why she is unreliable. She never communicated any “tragedy”. Yet will paint a picture of my family not being considerate. Pathetic customer service. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! I must say, as much as my wife tried to prepare me with pictures of how badly our sweet Goldendoodle was hacked on, no amount of pics would have taken away the amount of shock I was in when I actually saw him. I can’t believe for one second that anyone would be happy with this. We were charged $75 for THIS!!! The first pic where Bodhi is looking at the camera is what we asked for...the rest of the pics are what we got!!! Believe me, the pics don’t do justice for how bad it is. As any dog lover can attest to, these guys become part of the family...how would this company feel if they took their child to get their haircut and was presented with the kind of service they provided?? This is on top of telling us to be available by one time and then calling us an hour ahead of time and telling us they were headed our way, showing up 30 min earlier that they said we had to be available. This means my wife had to run out of work early. All around terrible customer service, terrible quality of service, and I would absolutely never use this company again.

HORRIBLE! They were so amazing for the first few months when Nicole groomed my Australian Shepherd. In and out and trimmed her very little just like we wanted. Yesterday, the owners came in her place and cut her hair all over instead of just her butt area like I asked. She still looks great, but I called today to set an appointment with our regular groomer Nicole as I simply liked the way she groomed her better. She was combative and argumentative the WHOLE time when I was only trying to express my concern and schedule another appointment with someone else. Just because I didn’t like the way she groomed her she told us to go find someone else. Lol how professional to get one criticism and tell the person to go find someone else. Great way to do business! And contrary to her reply, I NEVER said the words horrible. I only said that it was not the way I wanted her trimmed. I specifically said she looked fine but just not the way I wanted. I am VERY upset by the way I was yelled at and treated when I was very nice in every way possible. Business owners should be able to take criticism.

I called Smoochable Pooch on Tuesday March 7, 2017 and set an appointment for them to come out and groom my dog, I was so excited that I thought I had finally found a groomer that my dog could get used to seeing and wouldn't have to be kept in a kennel until they were ready for him. I spoke to Jodi she was a very pleasant lady on the phone we spent a good 20-30 minutes discussing my expectation and the price for grooming him. I explained that I would not be home but that my husband would be and if she had any question to please call me. I explained that I didn't want him to be completely shaved that he did have spots that were knotted but they were not that bad and she said ok. My son called me when he got home from school and said they ruined my dog's hair and I was going to be very upset when I saw him! I asked to send me a pic, when I saw the picture and saw what they had done to my dog I instantly started crying! They literally shaved my dog from head to toe leaving hair on his ears around his face and on the very tip of his tale! I'm sure he had more hair on his body when he was born than he does right now! He looks like someone got drunk and cut his hair! I immediately got on the phone and called them and left a message on the groomers phone as well as the main phone number they listed on their web site. I received a call back from some guy named John he was completely rude and disrespectful from the word hello, he was the most unprofessional person I have ever spoken to regarding a business matter. It was quite obvious that he had a really bad case of "God Syndrome." He started blaming my husband said my husband told them to shave him, he acted as if he and his groomers were the best groomers there ever was and they could not ever make such a mistake because the are just that perfect. I could not believe how rude this man was to me, how he simply didn't care how horrible they made my dog look then charged me $80.00. When I told John that I was going to post this review he became very irate and stated that he would post pictures of my dog showing how matted he was, I explained that he would be lying since my dog was not matted to the point that he needed to be shaved to the skin. Then before he hung up the phone he stated that I just was saying all that because I wanted to have my dog groomed for free and called me an "Effin" "C" and ended the call. When I got home my daughter and her friend pointed out that he had a long scratch across his chest and around his scrotum was red as if they shaved too close. I have accepted the fact that my dogs hair will grow back, However this John guy and his company will still be the most unprofessional dog grooming company in the DFW/Ft Worth/Mansfield area.

Used them for first time today and will definitely use them for all our future grooming needs. They gave an hour window and arrived within the first 15 minutes of that window. The groomer was very pleasant and did a wonderful full groom in less than an hour.

Arrived in the time I was told! Marley my small dog was very dirty and has curly hair that was all tangled and nails grown out due to not being unable to the groomer. When was gone about 45 minutes for a bath, cut, blow dry and nail trim. Did an amazing job ! I had another dog, a Blue heeler never been to a groomer and he just got a nail trim. Because one as scared of his reaction and she loves on him like he like a before taking him out to the van for his trimming. The price was fantastic! Jodi made this a great experience and I'll be calling to set up my next appointment.

I am really disappointed with how I was treated in just trying to schedule grooming for my dog. This place had decent reviews, but the owner was extremely unprofessional when she returned my phone call just to schedule. Based on that first impression, I wouldn't trust them with our dog.

We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Smoochable Pooch. My pups get excited when they see them. Since my girlies fight with each other often (litter sisters-constantly vying for dominance), they always let us know if they find any lesions that we may not have seen. They are very clean and smell heavenly when SP is finished. They have always been professional and always have the girls best interest at heart.
