This is a horrible vet. I took my baby there after coming home to his tumor busting and waited 4 hours still no doctor. They didn’t even clean the blood up even off his face.

Came here today because my Dachshund had signs of IVDD. The cost for everything wasn’t as expensive as everyone says for this place and they offered me surgery however I didn’t have the money for it, surgery was cheaper than most places …

We have been coming to the Animal Emergency Hospital in Mansfield for years because of the caring, well-trained staff and excellent service. They are a bit more expensive than my regular vet, but I expect to pay more for emergency, after-hours care and I don't find the prices outrageous. Other emergencie vets cost as much if not more. I have also had my dogs here for more complex long-term treatments (one of our dogs had a persistent infection and needed a daily IV antibiotics and she was always happy to see the staff who had her in and out quickly and safely). When we have had to make the hard decision to let go of one of our dogs we have come here. They are compassionate and kind, and make the very difficult process a little easier. I fully recommend this emergency vet to anyone looking for excellent care and kind staff. They are the best emergency vet option in the southern part of the Metroplex. Note for 2022 - During the pandemic I know that staffing can be tight, and they can be quite busy which can be frustrating. We were in last night with one of our pups for an infection and everyone communicated with us about the wait. Thankfully our situation wasn't super urgent so we were happy to wait while they treated more urgent patients. Please be patient with the staff and doctors as they are dealing with numerous emergency situations plus an ICU that needs constant attention all while dealing with the same staffing issues facing all businesses these days. They work hard and they deal with sad situations daily and still they are kind.

The level of service and staff is impeccable. I brought my baby in today as she was in acute distress. She was immediately taken into warm loving arms and given attention. As it turned out, it was her time. The staff took great care in recognizing not only my baby's distress but mine. My forever beautiful Bambi has moved on. I can't say enough about the care and compassion these folks showed. In short - take your baby here. They care.

Our doggie needed emergency surgery to have his eye removed. The experience from each staff member was kind and compassionate. Everyone was so helpful and explained in detail what to expect. Great experience with such an emotional situation.

Very friendly staff. Brought my kitty in yesterday because she wasn’t eating. They were very sweet to my baby and provided me with several options. They were upfront about costs. Thankful that they could see her quickly.

My boy cat had an incident at home. Part of the fur got ripped off from his tail and there was raw skin. They took him in, gave him antibiotics and pain medicine. I was there for 3 hours as there was other emergencies (a dog came and was giving birth to puppies and another pet was getting ready for surgery and amputation) For all the craziness going on and the facility being understaffed, they were amazing. I paid a little less than $300 for my babies care. He is feeling much better and is currently sleeping next to me while being on his pain meds. I just wanted to note that I’ve gone to other animal ER places and I never leave after 3 hours. I’m normally there for at least 6 to 7 hours. So kudos on the quickness even if it doesn’t seem like it.

Under NO circumstances use this hospital!!! On top of emergency hospital’s being expensive in them selves they only have their vet’s working 8 hour shifts so you are paying double the price for 24 hour care! They do NOT disclose this to you.

I live in Arlington I took my sick 9-year-old dog Shawty there yesterday throwing up bile every morning, refusing to eat this has been going on since December 19th, taken to exam room and that time my dog was taken back to another room to have vitals taken nobody says anything to me well he's vitals are showing good or not,4 hours later they come in the doctor wants a blood draw and and radiology, with office visit $698 I believe or they could just hydrate shawty and give him a shot for the nausea, with office visit $248, I sat for another half hour waiting for a front desk person to come help me fill out a CareCredit application I finally got fed up and left, paid $125 to not see the vet and not know what's wrong with my dog. Absolutely no sympathy or compassion for the fact that I sat there for 4 hours waiting to find out what's wrong with my dog, This place needs to be shut down.

I took my dog up here and they were prompt to taking care of him to let me know all the options of taking care of him. Sadly he didn't make it but with every decision that was made they were super supportive and caring. Thank you all for doing what you could for Twin.

They only want your money. This hospital preys on pet owners that are trying to save their pet! We took our dog here to try to save her they told us they could and gave us a diagnosis for $5221.00 in "exploratory surgeries" we paid because they said "it's treatable" and she is our baby we loved her so we paid. Next morning they said they needed another $1K for plasma and still had no diagnosis and we still lost her. They knew she was dying. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE! She still passed away and they did nothing except take out money! **google will not let me respond to owners comment...Look it up by last name or by invoice amount. Simple.

Strict mask policy forces employees to be the mask police. On November 30, 2021, my cat went through a traumatic event and I saw it happen. I brought him to the Animal Emergency Hospital in Mansfield to be treated. I was greatly concerned for the injuries he suffered. It was a highly emotional situation and I was a sobbing mess. The receptionist’s top priority and concern was to be the mask police. Instead of offering me a Kleenex or words of compassion she told me that I needed to put a mask on. She told me it was their corporate policy. My option was to comply and mask or leave the building where my injured cat was. It was very difficult and uncomfortable to wear a mask while I was crying. I sat in the entry way without a mask. Not being able to sit in the waiting room was a dehumanizing experience. Another emergency situation came in. Due to the corporate policy, a woman sat outside on the curb crying while an employee with a clipboard took her information. The lack of compassion from the receptionist made me question the mandatory mask policy that the corporate office makes their employees enforce above customer service. My hope is that the animal hospital revises the strict corporate mask mandate and chooses to be a mask optional facility. Employees that are working in trauma areas should be able to focus on helping their clients instead of focusing on enforcing a strict mask mandate.

Took my dog on Sunday for an emergency visit. When I walked in the girl at the counter had an attitude would not listen and was so rude the customer behind me was shaking her head at the lack of professionalism. I have taken my dogs there before and NEVER had an issue like what I experienced. Needless to say I packed my baby up and we drove to the ER in Arlington.

Our beautiful little kitten went in for medication for her eyes, these people escalated it to try to run up a bill on other “problems” and as a direct result our 1.7 lb kitten- overloaded on fluids and meds we did not approve, passed horrifically that nights not 5 hours after leaving this facility. Please stay away at all costs

The vets there are so amazing...they are able to treat patients that are unable to communicate ...super heroes...in my opinion....saved my Rocky who was in anaphylactic shock......

I was informed the first night that my 25 dog had been aggressive, therefore suffered an eye injury. The next night I was called and told that he had choked himself. Each time that I visited, I was given an increase in my estimated total due to the fact that the doctor that we saw gave us the wrong quote. I was not called every 12 hours as promised and the front staff was extremely rude.

I was dog sitting an older dog and we ran into an emergency situation with bloat or sometimes referred to as the stomach flipping. We needed care urgently. This place handled the situation with grace. I was so happy to be at a place where I felt like the staff really cared. Unfortunately the dog passed during surgery and everything after that point was handled sensitively and kindly. They have their best effort and highly recommend this as a place if you need them!

Horrific and traumatizing experience. I took my healthy and happy 3 month kitten in for some minor eye issue. She passed away 5 hours after her visit to this clinic. Please read my complete review on Yelp and please avoid this place at all costs if you love your pets.

We adopted a new puppy from the SPCA on a Friday; Sunday morning she started exhibiting signs of being ill, so we did a google search for 24/7 emergency animal care and found this hospital. It turned out our puppy had Parvo-they immediately put her in ICU and started an intense regimen in hopes of saving her life. For 7 days they not only updated me (2x a day) but they also remained in constant contact with my best friend who is a vet nurse in Florida, texting her lab results and procedures they would be performing so she could make sure we understood exactly what was going on. They were straightforward about the odds of saving her from day 1, and we were very lucky that our prayers were answered and the odds were in our favor-she pulled through. I won't lie-7 days in ICU was extremly pricey ($8,000 +) but it was 100% worth it since it saved our pups life. They also followed up via text to check on her and sent her a cute get well card-and those extra touches were greatly appreciated. My best friend was SO impressed with them that she is seriously considering putting in an application to work at the hospital and relocating to Texas.

The staff was so rude. Some guy that worked was yelling at another customer. I got so offended by the staff members rude behavior I left. Will never come back. These people do not deserve your business. The if they treat customers like this how do they treat our furry kids when we are not looking.

My cat was treated for something he did not have. They continued to treat him even though I had asked to pick him up the next day. I was given excuse as to why I couldn't get him until they had used all the money I put down and then charged me another 300.00. In all it was around 4,600.00 or more. We picked him up and until they called and told me had a rare e-coli bacteria and needed a different antibiotic to get over it. All the time spent and everything they gave him didn't help. I got what he needed and started him on it and he recovered 100% . They ripped us off for $3700.00 that we don't have. I will be filing malpractice and will post my paperwork next time if we cant resolve the fact they owe us 3700.00. We live on SS and that was allocated for our taxes not them. Read all the reviews about other people experience. This is a .common practice for them. They need to be stopped.

Great place to take your pet to die. They will charge you hundreds of dollars up front. They will lie to you about whether your pet is terminal. They will string you along then after 2 to 3000 dollars your pet will pass away.. Choose any other emergency vet please!

Good job holding a dog hostage for a surgery that hadn’t even happened yet, and then killing the dog after the owner just paid over $600. Good clinic will never take my dog here.

I called and explained how my 7 year old Rottweiler was breathing funny and acting lethargic. I was told they were at capacity and would not see my baby. Well he passed this evening.
