LONE STAR VETERINARY CLINIC Lufkin, Texas

It is a lovely clinic, I have an exotic parrot that had a sudden bacterial infection, and brought her in that day, she was tested and treated immediately with a medicine I could take home and It all only cost 60$. Any other vet wouldve burned holes in my wallet, probably with terrible treatment. The clinic is clean, with extremely friendly and well informed nurses and assistants. The veterinarians themselves were amazing in attitude and empathy, they dont charge you to be by your pets side when they are put down as so many other vets cruelly do. They don't overcharge and they do the most outstanding animal care I've ever seen. 100% reccomend them everytime.

Lone Star did a good job of taking care of our pets, but we are disappointed with the lack of masking by employees and many of the other customers. During a pandemic surge.

Dr. Witcher and the team are amazing. Everyone is super friendly. The office is clean and organized. They got us in on time to see the doc. So glad we found them for our doggos.

I love the staff they are so kind to my furbabies. I know that they are in good hands here.

Great care, clean facility, and friendly staff. Yearly checkup was a little high for a dog though in my past experience.

The care that the staff at Lone Star provide is more than I could ask for. DR. Wood was phenomenal through his care with all of my pets. I would not bring them anywhere else. They make it feel like a family.

Great clinic , i have 3 dogs and the staff was exceptional. I dropped off my boy for a neutering and he came home perfect, no fear of the vet at all.

The place is nice and clean. Staff is wonderful but Doctor didn't do professional work with my bird. He don't know how to treat a bird and trim her beak, wings and nails. Never going again.

What can I say other than AMAZING! The staff are amazing, friendly and personable. Dr. Woods is just awesome! He takes his time with you and your pet, he is honest and will let you know what your pet needs and doesn't. The office and exam rooms are always clean. If you're looking for a Vet or needing a change, bring your pets to Dr. Wood, you'll wish you came sooner.

The best! They really care about your pets and even their owner! They were really there for me when I had to put my dog down after really trying to save him. Another time , I even took them one of my flock of young turkeys with pneumonia and he treated that bird like it was a house pet! That Turkey is alive and laying eggs right now! That place is spotless and everyone is so kind! Highly Recommend!

I can’t say enough about this clinic!! Our puppy was very sick this weekend and they got us right in and he will be coming hime today! The Dr Kaleb and the entire staff have been amazing! They are caring and compassionate! I was given several updates through the weekend, which was a relief! I’m so Grateful I found this clinic!!! We will for sure continue care here!!!

We recently switched to Lonestar and I love it. They have spayed our SuperKitty, helped our dog Lucy with a painful hotspot and are helping our puppy Jack grow big and strong. They have a luxury boarding service and offered curbside appointments during covid. They are super friendly, affordable and efficient.

Great clinc me and my wife agree , went in and got my dog treated and he came home happy.
