West Loop Animal Clinic Lufkin, Texas

West Loop has been my Clinic of choice for many years. Recently, my wife has become involved with the local shelter. She and I depend on Dr. Richards, Dr. Shilling and the entire West Loop Staff staff to care for these shelter animals, getting them healthy and ready for adoption. Both are gifted surgeons . They have worked miracles on some of these animals. Great staff, very responsive and just great people. It is obvious to us, they love animals.

All the interventions done to my dogs was done in the back without me present. I have no idea if they were even treated , examined or given the shots that I was billed for. They gave the wrong dog the shot to begin with. I was rudely shooed out of the exam area by staff. I just wonder why . Is this the way all their exams are done? Are they hiding something?Can Dr Schill , give a reason for this?

It was a good experience. No improvement needed. Always very friendly and I feel like they really love my dog. We have also boarded Isabell there and always had a good experience. Very happy with the service and caring people at West Loop Animal Clinic.

Knowledgeable doctor and friendly staff . We have used their services several times for our smaller dogs and our very aggressive German Shepherd and each time they have worked with us. We have been pleased with their diagnoses and treatment. We'll continue to use their services!

My dog was very sick. I first made an appointment to have him checked out. The staff as super friendly. Two days before his appointment he declined rapidly and wasn't eating, drinking, or wanting to get up. I called again to have him put down. I was pretty distraught. My mom brought my dog for me. The staff was great. They do curbside because of covid. They made sure my dig was at peace and told us it was the right thing to do. I would definitely go back.

They get you in quick and they are very efficient. Can't go wrong with West Loop.

West Loop is the best vet I have ever used. Dr. Richards and his excellent team always provide the best possible care to my fur babies. I wouldn't take them anywhere else!

I have used Westloop Animal Clinic for 15 plus years. Dr. Shilling is working there part time now but our new doctor is just as caring as him. Nice Staff also.

Whenever I call I always get a welcome reception! Everyone at the clinic goes out of their way to be helpful and professional when dealing with customers. I have seven dogs and they know each and every one of my dogs personally and also know how much I care about them. Therefore they know when I call it is something that needs attention and they take care of all of my and my fur babies needs. A big thank you to West loop animal clinic and everyone who works there. You guys are my go-to vet!!!????

I arrived at the office at 6 pm on Tuesday with my very sick cat. It shows online they are open 6-8pm on Tuesdays but no one was there. No one answered the phone. Please change your hours to reflect the new times.

My poor Maybelline had to have her leg amputated and west loop took such great care of her. Quickly and CHEAP.

There is no doubt at all that West Loop has 100% the BEST staff and veterinarian in town! I will never take my pets anywhere else.

They do not have an area to allow cats to exercise outside of their cages, which are large I might add.

Staff was amazing!!!! Due to COVID, no humans were allowed in the building. (Which I think is amazing). The Vet and his staff came and spoke with me and answered all my new puppy questions. I highly recommend them.

I took my cat Tiger this morning after a few sleepless nights not knowing what was wrong. I called at 8:00 and Tiger was getting checked by the Dr. by 8:30. Hands down they provide the best customer service. I have made multiple visits with different cats and I always bring them home in better health Tiger thanks you I thank you. Hannah You Rock!!!!
