Very kind people, very sweet receptionist. It's a terrible thing to go through and I feel like Argos approaches what they do with compassion and want to make things right for those using their services.

We adopted two cars and a dog about the same time many years ago. recently they have one by one crossed the rainbow bridge. This was the third pet they cremated for us. Dignified and at a price we could afford, since we are not wealthy people.

Argos handled my precious Reba in a dignified, caring, loving way. I was a complete wreck, the kindness shown to me was heartwarming. Every part of the service/transaction was handled with love and care. First they come to the car both to retrieve and to deliver her to me. The package I received was very sweet. I have a paw print, a certificate, a lovely stainless urn, and her ashes. On an otherwise very sad day, my interaction with everyone was very respectful.

All I can say is thank God for Argos Pet Cremations. I can't get into too much detail because it's till too fresh (our 11 1/2 year old girl died last Thursday) but suffice to say we were handled with the utmost respect and kindness. They did not make me feel ridiculous or annoying for sobbing through everything I was trying to say on the phone. Holly was just patient and super understanding. They went above and beyond to make sure they could pick our dog up about 5 hours after her passing (in fact they were about 2 hrs ahead of schedule). We asked that she be cremated with her favorite stuffed animal and tulips that we laid on her. They honored those wishes. We asked that they not cremate her bed or blanket that she got picked up with, they also honored those wishes. The cost wasn't very important to us (we were prepared to pay $800 to another company but they couldn't get out to us for 2 days) but this place is definitely affordable and well worth the money (we paid around $270). The gold urn is beautiful. The paw print in foam is a great idea. The ink paw print was slightly messy BUT having an ink paw print was actually unexpected. I didn't know they actually took our dog's paw print in ink too so it was a nice surprise. We also arrived late to get our baby due to work and traffic, and they patiently waited for us. She passed away on a Thursday and her ashes were ready the following Wednesday. I couldn't say anymore nice things about this company. They made the entire cremation process very easy to navigate.

We've been unfortunate in less than two months to require cremation services unexpectedly. However, Argos, despite being a solid 2 hour drive with no traffic, has helped us both times. The very wonderful lady (I want to say Charity but I'm terrible at names, I'm so sorry!!) walked us through everything the first time and even remembered us when we had to come back almost 2 months later. We were able to be present through the entire process and our pets were never taken out of our sight (we were even allowed to watch our family members get placed in the retort and the door close to ensure that they were in there alone and to see them until the last moment) and get our family back in less than two hours, which, during strict COVID-19 protocols, was absolutely impossible anywhere else within a 3 hour driving radius of San Antonio. Plus they were always available with next day appointments. She warned us when she was going to open a retort in case we were sensitive and narrated everything she was doing and made sure we were okay with it. It may not be an experience everyone can be okay with but if you're trying a death positive approach or can handle the process without any frills or bells and whistles (the building is basically a warehouse, with the waiting area being about 50 feet away with nothing blocking the view to the retorts, which is exactly the sight line we wanted but it can get warm, there's going to be buggy wildlife, and you're going to smell the smells associated with a crematorium), I highly recommend this place. They're very affordable and treat the deceased family members with respect and care. I don't wish for anyone to have go through this but I hope this detailed account can answer some questions about the facilities and aftercare taken here, especially in regards to a witnessed cremation.

Beware! False advertising, the "clay" paw print is really just cheap planter foam. And the ink print you get looks like a 5 year old tried to do it as its smudged beyond recognition. Quality if all items is extremely poor. This is obviously done to keep their margins high at the customer expense. I would highly suggest you go elsewhere. Response to comment: I could care less about cost, I would have spent 5x this amount without hesitation but this is what my vet had to offer at the time. So you acknowledge changing the clay print to a cheap foam....but not changing the description, so I would have no way of knowing until I received it. This is false advertising as I previously stated. And just poor business practice. Either way, your response.....rather, your excuses are meaningless.

Amazing company! Can’t thank the staff enough for their kindness and care for my animal. I called other companies and it was as if I was just a number to them. Argos answered the phone and was truly concerned about my situation. Not only was the staff great but the paw print I got back was magnificent! I know it was my Benny due to the fact he only had 3 toes and that’s the foot they used for the print. I decided to get the wood package. The urn was exactly what I wanted. For the price you can’t beat it, Argos was more affordable than the other companies I called and the package actually came with a few more things such as a ink print as well. I did get a heart shaped urn for my daughter as Argos also had a booklet of urns aside from their packages. Was very beautiful and my daughter was so happy to have a little bit of Benny to herself. Argos even split up the ashes for me so I wouldn’t have to go through the trouble myself. I am grateful for the staff and will be recommending them to all who have to go through this difficult time!

Holly and Charity were the absolute best and most accommodating people. They handled our baby Precious as if she was their own and were very transparent. They helped bring closure to us which is worth more than any dollar amount. Thank you again, it was a pleasure.

Argos, thank you. Miss Biggles, my 13 year old Chihuahua passed on my birthday this month. I have always had my dogs individually cremated. You guys are the best. I thank you for the care and for the footprint and the mold footprint shadow box. I have a lasting memory I can touch every day.

I lost my 14 1/2 year old Terrier Mix, Max 0n 5/18/2020. It is comforting to know I will still have him near me as I display the beautiful wooden urn with his picture and paw prints. Thank you for doing such a beautiful job.

Argos did a wonderful job with our beautiful girl, Ki. We got her ashes in a simple wooden box with her name in brass. We also got her nose print on a necklace and her paw print. They were very compassionate and respectful.

I didn't know what to expect, with getting our fur baby of 17 years cremated, but they made the process as easy and stress-free as possible. The wooden box and name are beautiful and we're very thankful for the hospitality and willingness to do what only a rare soul can. Thank you all again.

We are so thankful to the Argos family for their services. We unexpectedly lost our sweet cat to a coyote and only had a few pieces of him and they kindly cremated what we had of him and gave us the ashes in a small wood box. We are forever grateful for them and their kindness during the whole process.
