We came here for the first time to bring our puppy in for a physical with vaccines and we really liked Dr. Peña but we were highly disappointed by his assistant/front desk girl, Jennifer. I called and spoke with Jennifer in advance to verify pricing and it wasn’t until we had left the office I realized the price I was given over the phone was inaccurate. We went back to discuss the issue and Monica at the front told me she would call me back Monday after she checked with the owner but that of course never happened. I had to call back Wednesday to follow up and spoke to Jennifer. She argued with me basically calling me a liar. It’s not even about they money. We just wanted an honest answer and clarification but Jennifer was very unprofessional and showed no compassion. Long story short don’t come here unless you want to deal with poor customer service.

What an amazing experience. After getting the cold shoulder from another nearby vet months ago, Moose and I greatly appreciate this office!! No hard upsells, and genuine care and love for my pup.

I am disappointed in the care of my dog Eva. She was having some health issues and I took her to Garden Ridge Animal Hospital on 04/27/2021. She was put through blood-work, x-rays and an ultra-sound. Costs totaling over one thousand dollars. Then, I was told on 06/29/2021 (approximately 9 weeks later) she has Cushing's Disease. Why wasn't I told at the time it was discovered? No explanation received!

Dr. Pam and her staff have always been wonderful. It's clear that they love animals and want them to be as comfortable and stress-free as possible. I've been going there for 10 years or more and have always appreciated their thoroughness and kindness.

Needed urgent care for my visiting daughter's dog. They were caring, reassuring, and professional with COVID protocols. We were very pleased with the care.

I took our 7 year old dog in and describe that she is not eating. Dr. Hendricks does a full exam $$$ but did not check her throat. Instead, she prescribes a tranquilizer. One week later, I take the pet to the ER clinic $$$$, and then the results back to Dr. Hendricks. Again, she missed the diagnosis and prescribes nausea medicine. Two days later, I feel the dogs throat, and feel large lumps. This time she says swollen lymph nodes. We euthanize the pet. Make your own conclusions, but I was sad to see the pet suffer longer than necessary.

Omg i love this place so much. I got a puppy 2 months ago and tried 4 diff vet but this one is the best!!! They all care about my puppy genuinely and they are super professional and helpful. Will definitely be my forever vet.

Excellent service was provided to my little hamster. Doctors and nurses are very kind and cooperative. I was touched by their service attitude. Can't thank them enough. Reasonably priced.

Everyone has been super caring, compassionate, and helpful. We've seen Dr. Henricks for the care of beloved birds. She takes the time to explain everything about what's going on with them and how to give them good medical care as they need it.

I have taken my fur babies to Dr. Pam for 30 years. She and her staff are wonderful. For me this is the best veterinary clinic in Lewisville.

Set up female to be spayed. Was told to be there at 8:00am. Received an email from them stating the appointment was for 10:00am. Received phone call day of appointment at 9:00am telling me I missed my appointment. I told them I received email for 10:00am. Tuff shi* your appointment was 8:00am.

i have a vet that i have used since i moved here over 8 years ago. he is great and has always cared for my dogs. yesterday i found myself in need of a reptile vet. my dogs attacked my tortoise and she was in bad shape. i called my regular vet who doesn't specialize in reptiles. he referred me to garden ridge animal hospital. i called them at 10:20. i had a repair man coming to my house between 11 and 2 so i said i couldn't come in until after that. they said if i came right in i could drop my tort off and they would treat her. i have never used this vet. i left immediately and when i got there the receptionist said she wanted the doc to access my tort before i left to see if she could be helped. she took "misshelly" into the back. a couple of minutes later, dr. henricks came out gently holding my tort and kindly told me there was nothing that could be done and i should put her down. she said she could take her in the back and give her a shot and then bring her back out. i was able to hold her and talk to her as she peacefully passed. they never roomed me, didn't charge for an office visit and only charged a nominal fee for the injection. the entire staff was so very helpful and kind. i highly recommend this practice! as a matter of fact, i think my vet is getting ready to retire and i have found my new vet. <3

I took a sick bunny in to them in January, 2013. Long story short, they misdiagnosed him with GI stasis, when he was actually suffering from bloat. His condition improved for one day, then quickly worsened at which point, I called and asked about the treatment. I was encouraged by a member of the support staff (never got any follow-up from either of the doctors on staff again) to continue with the stasis treatment, which meant stuffing more food into a rabbit whose digestive system had stopped working. In short, I continued to torture my rabbit for another day until I had had enough and went to get a second opinion, which came too late. He died in agony two days later. UPDATE: I would like to note that the veterinarian who posted the reply below is the very person whom I reached out to and who then passed on the recommendation to proceed on course with the damaging treatment, which increased pain and suffering and accelerated an untimely death.

The staff and doctors are all fantastic here. Everyone is very friendly, and as you would expect they all love animals and are great with them. Our appointment for the whole works went great, even with my large dog that is usually keyed up in public. Everything is very clean. Pricing is up front, no surprises.

Took my puppy here for his first check up and deworming. The staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome. They were gentle and thorough and answered all of my questions. We will be returning for the years to come with our furbaby.

Extremely friendly staff. They spent a good deal of time getting to know my two dogs. The building is clean and doesn't smell like animals. We have family who have used this place for years.
