Amazing place with so many animals in need of homes. The staff is so kind, capable and loving. We found my mother the most perfect companion here and recommend this place to everyone looking for a new furry family member.

They adopt out an amazing amount of animals. Every staff member I met was very helpful and wanted to make sure that not only we were a good match for a dog but that our current dog got along. They guided us and explained what to look for and how the two dogs got along and there was no rush in making the decision. Our new dog is completely up to date on all of his shots and he is a delightful boy. It's only been a week and I love him already.

Lots of dogs up for adoption. They need more space. So many people surrendering their dogs. They have a wide variety from pups to older dogs. Very loud. They are making a valiant effort, but I believe the adoptions are too expensive. I want to put most of my money into caring for my dog...food, shots, bed, collar, leash, etc.

Great for Lil ppls 8 and under. it's not that big kids can't go but they wouldn't have as much fun.its a small place but big at heart!! Loved it❤️❤️

They are nothing less than the best. If you're looking to adopt or any other clinics they are amongst the best ear a no-kill shelter who rescues animals from all over the state beautiful compound and wonderful people I've been associated with them since 2017

Dog went to get neutered and looked like he came out the backside of a lawnmower

Customer service is great and the people are great! Upset with the vet techs though. My lab who runs and plays all day was considered “obese” and they said she was “hardly obese”. Also a she came out of heat over 3 weeks ago and was still considered in-heat. Got charged the in-heat charge and obese charge. Seems like they just wanted to charge us the extra.

Pumpkin patch was awesome and great to have one so close

This organization was a life saver when I took in a stray and she needed to be spayed ASAP. I was able to schedule an appointment within a week. Drop off and pickup was very easy, prices are very reasonable, and the staff was caring and nice. I would highly recommend this nonprofit for everything they do - feral cat program, economically-priced spay/neuter/shots, and adopting one of the many animals they rescue. If nothing else, make a donation to help them continue their efforts!

Definitely a great place worth visiting. There are many animal to choose from, if you're looking to adopt/rescue. It's also a great place to volunteer your time.

I had two kittens spade. The online booking was easy. The staff was fantastic and friendly! I love this place and have used them for all my dogs and cats!

These heroes helped me with my feral female cat. She busted out of her cage that I brought her into their office to have her spayed. She ran as fast as she could all over the office running into the glass windows. They are so gracious to catch her, and take her to surgery. When I came to pick her up she was secured in her cage better. They go above and beyond to help you. I appreciate their kindness and love of our animals.

Took my two huskies to get spayed. Staff was friendly and prompt in their services. I am glad I chose THH to conduct the procedure for my girls. They have a large facility, was able to see the dogs and cats they have for adoption. They are providing a great service for the Austin area.

Texas Humane Heroes is an amazing organization. They are a no kill shelter with a full vet clinic for animal care. We regularly contribute and volunteer here. Two of our fur babies were rescued by THH.

I have used the spay/neuter clinic at Texas Humane Heroes twice now. Both experiences couldn’t have been more pleasant. Availability and ease of scheduling appointments is great. I was able to get an appointment very quickly. Dropping off and picking up was also very simple and quick. The employees are all very courteous and really care about the well-being of all animals in their care. Additionally, the price of their services is wonderful for pet parents on a budget. I also loved that I was able to make a donation to a help a shelter pet get vaccinated and support a great non-profit organization.

I took both my kitties (male & female) to get spayed/neutered + all their shots/flea meds. they were very affordable & kind. While I waited to pick my babies up I went to pet some of the cats that were ready to adopt and I wanted to take them all home so badly! I would definitely recommend them for adoption and the vet care they provide.

I’m so thankful for THH! I know they saved my baby Denver’s life from euthanasia and took good care of him until I came to adopt him. I could not imagine my life without my precious cat ????

We went in for 1 new cat and left with 2. They are very sweet, and were well cared for. The staff made adoption super easy, too.
