Its a beautiful and well kept property, I came in for an interview and loved the atmosphere. Unfortunately after a seemingly good interview I was ghosted despite a follow up. Wish I could have spent more time at this location!

I've gone out of my way to support this business in the past by both driving >30 minutes to board my dog there and by recommending it whenever the chance arose. Unfortunately, I will not continue to do either. There have been two recent occasions that have been very frustrating to me and have proven an unprofessional attitude about the place. The second to last time my dog boarded there he got stung by a scorpion/bit by a spider/something similar and his foot got swollen and infected. This was frustrating, however understandable and not terribly surprising with my very friendly and curious dog. The problem was I was told this when I picked him up several days after the event, not as soon as it happened. Additionally, this incident happened under the care of Romp N' Run Ranch and I was expected to purchase the rest of the antibiotics from them to complete my dog's recovery. They also offered to let me purchase the cone substitute they had him in, which I declined since I fortunately had something similar at home. I will note that they did notice and treat it and after I continued with the rest of the medicine, my dog made a full recovery. This most recent visit included a nail trim, as has been the case with each stay. I picked up my dog and after paying was informed by one of the younger staff that the job had not been completed since my dog was having a hard time with getting his nails trimmed and was not cooperating well. I didn't want to argue and continued getting my dog situated in the car. I decided to inquire further about the incident and spoke with the groomer who I believe is the owner or manager. I expressed my frustration at paying full price for an incomplete job and the groomer said that they needed to be compensated for the "10 minutes" of their time that they spent on it. There was no understanding or offer to make things right. I was told that they want their place to be a happy place for the dogs so they did not want to finish the job. Some sort of compensation and acknowledgement of the incomplete job being a problem would have made a huge difference. TLDR: Romp N' Run offers a fun environment for your dog(s), but you may experience lack of communication about your dog's wellbeing, lack of responsibility regarding events while your dog was under their care, and unfinished jobs they were paid to do. They have the money for the medicine and nail trim, but have lost former repeat customer. Fortunately, my dog has been happy at other boarding facilities that are much closer to my home.

Romp and Run is a great place to leave your pup. I trust all of them completely with my guy. He comes ho.e exhausted from all the exercise he gets. He loves going and I feel so happy knowing he is so well taken care of.

Romp N' Run Ranch has provided wonderful service for our family for the past two years. Our dogs love spending time here and the owners are incredibly friendly and kind. I highly recommend this service for any dog lovers.

On our way to Dog House Drinkery we couldn’t help but notice a nice size potbelly pig (150-175 lb) waddling around outside of the fence in front of this place (Romp N' Run Ranch). We were concerned for the pig’s safety, considering the proximity of the pig to the road… perhaps 20 yards(?), so we stopped to see what the deal was. The pig retreated to the electric gate on the drive and obviously wanted back inside, because he started nudging it with his nose. Romp N' Run had their number prominently displayed on a sign out front, so we called them. The response was shocking. “Oh, he’ll be alright. He likes to wander around out there and eat the grass.” Hmmm. So it’s OK if the pig wanders out on the busy county road (175) and gets hit? Worse yet, he wanders into the road and someone has a wreck trying to avoid him; that’s not a big deal either? What! Man, if they are that complacent about that entire situation, why would anyone in their right mind want to board a dog with them? That’s just an insane attitude, with zero concern for the animal and the potential risk it could pose to the nearby drivers. They’re either crazy or stupid.

I don't know what we would do without romp n run!! The staff is awesome and our dogs absolutely love going here. I have to respond to Kasha512's review. I was actually behind the car described in the event in her review and I thought the staff handled the situation perfectly. An officer pulled over a car and that car stopped in front of the romp n run entrance - completely blocking off the entrance. There were several customers (me included) that were significantly delayed b/c of this as we could not pull in through the long driveway to drop off our dogs. The owner was super awesome by running out and getting our dogs so that we could head out. In my opinion, it was very wrong of the car to block a business entrance (and illegal I expect) and I can't believe they would write a review calling out the business staff for supporting their customers.

My dog has stayed here several times over the last couple of months and I have been a huge fan. I drive 20-30 minutes out of the way to take him before I leave town, because the peace of mine while I'm away is totally worth it. Yesterday a few things happened out of my control, including a wreck on I-35. I called and spoke to the owner and told her I was running 2-3 minutes past pick-up time, but that I was on my way to pick up my dog. She acknowledged she would see me soon. The wreck slowed me down more than Google had anticipated, so I pulled up to the gate around 1:09 (closes at 1). The gate wouldn't open after a few tries, so I called. No answer. A second phone call and the owner did answer, to inform me that it was "1:12, not 1:02 like you promised, and we don't do late pick-ups." Her tone was far from kind, her words weren't understanding (keep in mind we had just spoken on the phone 20 minutes prior), and worse of all of it -- someone acting cold and unkind had one of the most precious things in the world to me behind a gate, just a few feet away. I had no desire to argue: the last thing I wanted to do was make this person angry (angrier). Outside of the emotions of the situation (surprise, disappointment, hurt, betrayal, fear), did I know my dog was fine? Yes. I took deep breaths and reminded myself that he would be fine constantly the rest of the day. Peace of mind that I drive out of my way for? Shattered. There are so many ways to handle this situation without alarming a pet owner, while still maintaining policies. 1: When I called the first time, you could have warned me that any more than 2 to 3 minutes late and I wouldn't be able to pick up my dog. 2: Someone could have called me at 1:05 to let me know that while they knew I was on my way, they needed to close. 3: If those things were impossible, when I called from outside the gate, you could have been understanding of my disappointment, or sounded human at a bare minimum. I am not advocating to break policies. I am asking to handle things differently. As the keepers of our most precious possessions, your lack of empathy creates the emotional simulation of a hostage situation very quickly. I will not be back (though I get the distinct impression that will not bother you). Your business' email and phone have been blocked.

We have boarded our pup here for years, she always comes back happy and tired! They get tons of outside play time and socializing which is a plus and worth the money!

This place is A+! A great atmosphere for my kids to romp around on 2.5 acres of fenced area, including woodland. The owners are super professional and specialize in shepards, so after meeting and speaking with them, I was totally at ease knowing my furballs were in excellent care. Planning on making this place a weekly place to let the kids play! Yes!!!

My dog loves romp n run. He starts howling in the car when he realizes where he is going. Let’s just say he is an active dog, so he needs a lot of exercise and interaction. The program at RnR is perfect for this, as he gets to play outside during the day. The owners are always really pleasant when I visit, and seem to be fully engaged in their business. With RnR being a mile from my house, this is the perfect place for my dog!

The best for daycare or boarding! We go at least once a week for daycare, our boys come home worn out from play and socializing. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. We're lucky to have Derek and Jessica so close. Oh and they do it all... taking care of all the dogs needs nails to tails!

My dogs been going to romp n run since he was a puppy and there’s no one else I would trust with my dog. They take excellent care of him and when we pull up at the gate my dog (who never barks, cries, or whines) cries like a baby when he knows he’s arrived!

Derek, Jessica, and all the staff have been amazing to my family and puppy Fig. We have a newborn and quickly realized Figgy needed more attention and needed day care. The staff is very accommodating, they take great care of our fur baby, and he comes home zonked. They always give us updates on his new best friend for the day and how he did. I highly recommend giving them a call and checking them out. They are real people who care for your baby as much as you do. Plus, they are a very professional establishment. Their facility is amazing and they make drop off and pick up a breeze. They bring Fig right to my car and get him packed up for me...talk about service. We are very impressed. We looked at multiple other places and they won by far because of everything already stated above. The prices are also great compared to other facilities and services provided. Plus, they are the nicest people to talk to on the phone or email and give off great vibes! I could go on and on about them!!

Great place for pet boarding! They took great care of our dog who was injured the day before we went on vacation and our dogs seem to love it here! We will continue to bring them here for future trips. This is a local place and the owners are very nice. They will show you around the facility and acreage if it’s your first time. Easy drop off and pick up. Highly recommend.

Just moved up North to Leander and am extremely happy I found a doggie daycare at RNR Ranch. Charlie gets very excited when the gate opens knowing he is going to have a fun filled day. The owners ans Staff are very nice and well informed giving me suggestions on how to train my little man. Plus they do amazing job grooming. Would not take my Charlie anywhere else. Great Package deals too!

I had always wondered about this place. We have 4 dogs and take our dogs to a place next door to play. They also go to daycare during the day at a different spot. I was planning on stopping by one day to see about boarding but, one of the ladies in the staff there is extremely rude to police officers. We had a situation outside of the gate where i got pulled over for speeding and had no where to park considering the way the street is situated. One of the workers ran out of this place and immediately started to argue and yell at the officer. Which only made the situation worse. The lady did this all in front of her customers. I would NEVER leave my dog at a place with people who act like this. It was extremely unprofessional. I'd suggest to go to shady acres its about 10 minutes away and they are all respectful, kind and well trained.
