Amazing veterinarians very helpful and knowledgeable.

This is not an emergency vet. My dog got very sick over the weekend and I was extremely concerned he wasn't going to make it. I called Crystal Falls Animal Hospital, my regular vet, right when they opened on Monday morning letting them know my dog was close to death and I needed to bring him in for an emergency exam. The very rude receptionist told me that the earliest we could see a vet was Wednesday. Obviously that wasn't an option. I had to call other local vets to find one that took walk-ins (I HIGHLY recommend Leander Vet Clinic on Hero Way). Once I was able to get my dog checked out by another vet, they requested that I forward my dog's vaccination records. It took several phone calls and emails to get Crystal Falls Animal Hospital to finally forward the records. Turns out that my dog has Addison's Disease and if left untreated, he absolutely would have died. I'm so thankful that I found a different vet to treat my pup. Also, they're anti-mask, which is so bizarre for a vet office.

Dr Huggins is the best. He loves the animals as if they were his own.

Dr. Huggins and staff have been taking care of my buddy Fischer (American Yellow Lab) for 5-6 years. Most animals don't like vet visits, but Fischer loves visiting his doctor... probably for the social experience. I really appreciate how the practice operates. I never feel rushed to get out. Dr. Huggins and staff take time to listen, answer and explain any questions or concerns I might have. I always seem to think of "one more issue" towards the end of the visit and they take the time. Services are affordable and he will point me in the right direction for lower costs on medications if he knows of any.

We’ve been going to Dr. Huggins for about 5 years but this last two visits have been horrible and we won’t be going back. They have always been disorganized and appointments take way too long (you wait in a small room alone when no one appears to be in the clinic). We’ve had two rounds of misdiagnosis this year. I’m writing this from the parking lot of my emergency Vet visit, thanks to this round of misdiagnosis. Oh! Best part?! Dr. Huggins REFUSES to wear a mask DURING A PANDEMIC. I asked both him and his bet tech. He told me that it made him hyperventilate. Exactly how does a vet do surgery with no mask? Oh! I know. In the most unhygienic way possible. If you care about your fur friends, beware!

We love Dr. Huggins and his staff. He's always very attentive and thorough with his exams. We have never left the office feeling like we didn't have an answer and a course of action for our dogs. He calls our dogs "kiddos" and acts like they're his favorite animals ever. If you're concerned about masking, maybe ask for curbside service. It's a private business and he can enforce that rule, if he wants. Absolutely recommend!

I called as a new client and they were very helpful and polite, it was going to be a couple of days before they could get my new lil man in but was told I could come for a walk In if i was willing to wait. We arrived and checked in the process was fast and easy then the staff took my pet with them, he was there for his 2nd round of shots and general health check, the doctor called me and told me how everything went, answering all my questions and was very nice and polite. I have definitely found my primary pet care facility. Thank you so much.

I was very pleased with the emergency attention our dog recieved. All the attendants and the doctor did an excellent job taking care of our Mr. Banks. I highly recommend them.

The vet does not wear a face mask. When asked why, he said "because I have to talk a lot." What? Is that not a very good reason for wearing a mask. Talking a lot in a small exam room with your client less than 6 feet away. With your assistant right next to you.

Finding a good Vet once you move is always tough search, but after many Yelp and Nextdoor recommendations, we decided to to with CFAH! Dr. Huggins and his team are fantastic, and really care about your fur babies needs. My dog is one of my children, and I know that he's in great care with Dr. Huggins and his team. He's very thorough and honest, and doesn't try to charge you and arm and a leg for unnecessary services as some vets have done to us in the past. His pricing is very reasonable. Chris who works the front desk most days is super friendly, and I love the welcome board when you walk in on the day of an appointment that displays my dogs name. Super fun! I definitely recommend CFAH for your pets needs!

This vet office is amazing and I cannot thank them enough for the stellar care they provided for my cat!! A few weeks ago, my cat Mr. Kitty developed a urinary blockage and had to be rushed in to the office. Since his condition didn’t improve by the time I had to leave town a few days later, Dr. Huggins and his team did me a MASSIVE favor and provided care for Mr. Kitty while I was out of town. They provided daily updates while I was gone and even took time out of their days on the weekend to check on/spend time with him and make sure his condition was improving. They definitely made a stressful situation much less stressful for me and Mr. Kitty! I highly recommend Crystal Falls Animal Hospital because they truly care about the animals that they see in their office! I have a total of 4 pets and they are all well taken care of by Dr. Huggins and his team!

Best vet and veterinary office around!!

Excellent experience! The staff was super friendly and the veterinarian is incredibly knowledgeable. We took our rescue German Shepherd to have her stitches removed (her spay was performed by another veterinarian) and discuss heartworm options (she tested positive with the rescue). We decided on the best option for Sadie, which is a pretty involved and prolonged process. The vet was thorough and his subject-matter expertise left us feeling more than confident in our decision to treat. He gave us a solid estimate and plan of action. His rates aren't unreasonable, making this vet worth his salt.

Dr. Hugs, as my family calls him, is the most compassionate and caring veterinarian you will ever find. We have been going to him for years and at this point I don’t trust any human doctors for my care more than I trust him with my pets. When we came to his practice we had one dog on the decline towards the end of his life, and not only did he help us manage his final years but when it came time for the big sleep Dr. Huggins was there every step of the way, part vet and part therapist. On my little buddy’s final day Dr. Huggins cried and thanked me for letting him go, which gave me peace that I did the right thing. You will never find a better human being to take care of your furry family members, and I will never stop appreciating the care he has given our pets.

Fair pricing as well as equipped for actual farm needs

I love Dr Huggins. He is very good at explaining everything and making sure you understand. He doesn't rush on to the next patient. He actually cares about my pets and making sure I understand everything. The staff is nice. I have always had a good experience.

We have 6 cats. And some of them are more needy than others. Dr. Huggins and staff have always been kind and patient with our cats and the two of us. One of our cats needed to lose a little bit of weight, and while he lost down to within a normal weight for a cat his size, I felt he got there a little too fast....my mamacat intuition was telling me something was wrong. Rather than just patting me on the head and telling me he was fine, Dr. Huggins ran a full panel, and there it was - hyperthyroidism. We opted for a curative treatment (at a specialty hospital, but CFAH staff handled all of the paperwork, it was the easiest referral I've ever had!) and now Kirby's thyroid levels are exactly where they should be. He saved Kirby's life by not just assuming I was a neurotic pet parent. :) I also appreciate that if they don't have an opening, they will give you a few other places that can accommodate you (which is handy if you run into something like an infection, or a limb injury - something that probably shouldn't wait.) Thank you!!

Dr. Huggins was amazing when treating my dog, his quick knowledgeable diagnostics of my male dog blew me away and he even took the time to talk with me about previous issues my dog suffered with years ago and gave me information on it that I never heard, even back then when my dog was going threw those issues. Very intelligent Dr that I am thankful to have found, I highly recommend this animal hospital if you are looking for good honest diagnostics at a VERY reasonable price for your fury family members! Dr Huggins is by far the best vet ever!! I have a very difficult dog and he goes above and beyond to make our visits go as smooth and pleasant as possible. His prices are so affordable, a fraction of what I have spent at other places. He does it for the love of animals. I will never be able to express my appreciation for Dr. Huggins and his wonderful staff.

This animal hospital did an excellent job removing a large cyst from the side of my 14 year old mastiff. Was very happy with the results and the staff as a whole. Found me a new Veterinarian who does great work and didnt break the bank as well.
