They discriminate against breeds. Edit to respond to Sea Dog's response. I never said anything about my dog past his breed - American Staffordshire Terrier - and as soon as I said that they said "We dont take that breed because of insurance reasons." Everything else about my dog below was fabricated.

Used them.over the Thanksgiving holiday after our regular place was booked solid. Sea Dog Inn took our pup in and I think they are our new regular.

What a great place to safely keep your pets. We had our dog there for a weekend and he was in great spirits when we picked him up. Very reasonable prices and took care of him like family. They even washed the bed we brought. My daughter was very scared as this was our first time boarding him. The staff was really nice about easing her fears. We will be using them for all future boarding. Reliable, kind, and professional. Could not say enough!

Sea dog is a great and reliable kennel. I wish they had slightly better hours for pickup and drop off but with COVID, I think they’ve had a difficult time being open as much as they’d like. But other than that, I am happy to take my dog there and they’re always friendly and a good price. I’d definitely recommend them to friends and family.

We use to take our pup here, then, our last stay, she shows up with fleas. The owners son or husband, argued with us about it, then said that he would have the owner call us, which never did. We had to dip her, then clean the apartment just to try to get her under control. The new place that we are taking her to now, is having to bathe dogs from this exact same place. Very upsetting that we were treated that way after being loyal customers for 7 years. We will not be returning.

Our 2 Aussies stayed here for the week. Great service, very friendly people that are animal lovers. They took great care of our fur babies. Will use again for sure.

My dog Henry has been going to Sea Dog Inn since we moved to the area a few years ago. I tried other boarders in the area but felt most comfortable with our dog here, not to mention their pricing is very fair. They always have a spot for him when I need to board and he always comes back smelling fresh after his bath. Ms. Gwen always greets us and treats us like family! We will continue to use Sea Dog Inn for boarding and baths!! ???? ????

Had to take my dog to the emergency vet immediately after picking her up from here.... More to follow. Sunday staff DID NOT CARE at all about the condition my " FAMILY" member was in.

They cut my small dogs bottom eye lid off in 2002 and tried to hide then deny the incident until we threatened legal action. I realize this was well over a decade ago. I realize their staff has changed and likely operate a decent business for the most part. But I will never, EVER feel less salty about the fact they severely injured my dog's eye and tried to pack on styptic powder to stop the bleeding before we picked her up. We only found out because on the drive home while petting her, my hand ended up covered in blood. She needed surgery immediately or she would have lost her eye. The owner/groomer at the time even came to our home pleading and apologizing. I was a child at the time and still hold the same animosity for him now as I did then. He only cared about himself, his money and his reputation. He even used "finding" religion to try to prove his innocence. Disgusting. Anyone who can hurt an animal, deny it, and try to hide it is completely despicable.

Hands down the best pet boarding I have ever experienced. I wouldn’t be able to do my job if it wasn’t for the sea dog inn. My dog love it here and he always comes home happy.

I have used Sea Dog Inn since 1996, Gwen has groomed all of my furbabies including my grand furbaby. I have used 1 or 2 other groomers, but Sea Dog INN is by far the best. Love Seao Dog and I highly recommend. ???????????? ????????????

I have taken my dogs and birds here for years. My dogs love the staff and I always have confidence they are well taken care of.

I have used this place for the longest and they take good care of Sally plus I've had to leave her longer then planned they totally had no problem with it.

My two little monsters have had to stay at the Sea Dog several times. I love how inviting the staff is. One of my fur babies is very protective and the staff has worked very well with making sure he is well looked after. I will always take my pups here should I need to board them.

Extraordinarily friendly and professional staff. Would highly recommend this kennel for boarding,grooming, and training. Your babies will be in Loving well trained hands.

Had an unexpected death in my family and had to travel to NC on short notice. I boarded one of my dogs here (he doesn't like to travel) and took the other with us. I called every day to check on him and was told that he was doing just fine. When I picked him up he was extremely nervous, which isn't like him at all. They brought his bed out to me and said they didn't have a chance to wash it, so they put it in a trash bag. It was SOAKED with urine. Also not at all like my dog, who is 100% house and crate trained. By the time we made it to our house, about 10 minutes away, I noticed that he was sneezing quite a bit. This has persisted since picking him up almost a week ago, and it spread very quickly to my other dog. So, I now have 2 sick dogs that have always been in perfect health, until using this facility.

This is the 2nd time we have boarded our dog here. She comes home happy. She has been to other kennels in the past and always came home sick or they just didn't feed her what I sent. Sea Dog Inn goes above and beyond. We highly recommend them.

We boarded our cat here over the labor day weekend, never again. They will tell you your kitty will get fresh litter every day! Thet will tell you your kitty will have his/her suite cleaned every day! In our opinion nether of these things happened. Our little girl has never had more than one or rarely two bowel movements a day, when picked her up this morning the litter box was over flowing, we are sure the box had not been cleaned in at least two days. Our girl is normally overly friendly but hissed and cowered at my wife when she went to get her. If you love your pet take them somewhere else.

They really cared about my personal situation with our new adopted baby boy " Zeus" With their help our family will be able to make this work. Love um!
