Very very loving staffs who love our pets as their own. I'm grateful for them for taking good care of my furbaby each time we go there.

Maybe it’s because I’m from Tennessee and used to friendliness and true southern hospitality but this visit was unpleasant. The vet tech was curt and appeared just over it and the day hadn’t even begun. At my home Banfield, the doctor always comes and speaks to me after the visit, here I had no idea who treated my pets. The only reason they didn’t get less stars was because of the front desk, they were actually pleasant, courteous and helpful.

I love this Banfield, I always feel as though they are very welcoming and can tell they really care for my furbaby. I have had such great experiences here and I am very thankful for the team here.

Front desk staff is extremely rude. I called for an appointment and was told by the woman they were too busy to assist me because they had more important patients to deal with in the lobby. That they were in the process of closing and discharging the days patients. Mind you this was at 3:15 on a Thursday afternoon. I've been a customer of Banfield since 2001. I am no longer a customer after this experience.

I'm really diassapointed with this location. Our cat was not only given services we didn't request, but also vaccines she already had. After her visit she became very sick, and spent several days vomiting.

The lady at the front desk is really nice and professional. She tries to be as accommodating as possible. No problems there. Examination and treatment was cursory at best. The nice young lady who came out from the back to explain to me what was wrong with my dog was nice enough but didn’t seem to be very well informed or interested. They just wanted to move on to the next customer. I left with very few answers and fewer instructions. After a week my dog is worse not better and I can’t get through to them. Headed back to a far superior Humble Banfield to try to help my pup. Nothing personal against the Kingwood Banfield they are probably just over worked and over crowded. Hopefully your experience will be better.

If you love your animals, DO NOT GO HERE. First time going to a vet that blatantly mistreated my dog and didn’t care. Vet techs are so unprofessional. They sneak in charges without your permission too. I will never use Banfield offices again.

Worst experience ever...no order whatsoever to take care of the customer, anyone can come in and walk in front of u, and that's ok for them but not for me... I learned to follow and order of thing, they were just very unprofessional. Never come back to the Kingwood location, ever.

I've had to wait 24 hours to make this review, to review exactly what occurred and come up with a fair and balanced report of how my experience with them went. Here goes... I made an appointment online, for my pets to have exams and get their vaccinations. The appointment was for 8 AM. "S" contacted me, and during our phone conversation, I asked for how the exams would occur. I was told to phone when I arrived, that a tech would come out and take them, and that I could run an errand or go home, if I lived close by. When the shots were given, they would call me for pick up, and I would come, pay, and pick up my animals immediately. At 7:50 AM, I was there. I phoned shortly before 8 to say we were there, but I noticed their parking lot was filling up, and about a dozen animals were being dropped off. At first, I thought it was people boarding pets because of the long weekend. Someone came out for my pets, and I went to run an errand. At 8:48 AM, i got a call from someone at Banfield wanting to sell me a "preventive care package" for $50 a month per pet. I declined, and I asked if my pets were seen yet. He said he didn't know. A bit after 9, I phoned and spoke to a young lady who didn't give her name, but said they'd both been examined by the doctor, but neither had had their blood tests or shots yet. At 10:00, I went to the clinic to wait, thinking they should be done soon. I phoned in, and the same nameless female person told me "they won't be done til around noon". It dawned on me that they were operating like a large-scale manufacturing outfit. Everybody drops off their pets, and they fit them in between surgeries, during the day. That means your pet is in a cage or -- like my cat -- in their carrier for hours. I became rather livid that no one had ever communicated this to me before I brought my pets. If I had known, I would have booked their treatment with another veterinary clinic. I went to the door and asked to speak with the clinic manager. I was told there wasn't one. I summarized the problem, and asked to speak to someone in a leadership role. In error, I referred the person who casually said "they won't be ready til around noon" as a nitwit. "S" then informed me that neither of my animals had had tests or shots, but that one of them was just starting their exam with the vet. (The other was still in his carrier.) A person who I first thought was a tech, but ended up being a vet (we will call him Dr K for this review), came out in quite a temper. I attempted to lay out the details of what had been going on, so he would understand my point of view, but his temper wouldn't allow him to approach the situation with a clear head. I asked for my animals to be returned to me. He continued to argue with me and berate me while one animal was brought to me. My own temper, at this point, was hot, so I demanded the other animal be brought immediately, whereupon he crossed his arms, stomped his little foot, and refused. I said "fine, then I shall call the police." Thankfully, a lady came out with my pet in his carrier, and we left. In hindsight, I was completely wrong to have referred to the young woman on the phone as a nitwit. It wasn't her fault that the experience was so abyssmal. The problem with this veterinary practice is that clearly they aren't training their staff in communication skills and protocols which would avoid this kind of a debacle. Unfortunately, the end result is I view this practice as having a large-scale, mass-production, puppy mill-esque approach to pet care, which simply is not what I want for my pets. If you want inexpensive prices, this may be the practice for you. If you want a more holistic, personal, quality-focused clinic, then keep looking.

After my dogs surgery- he had a a very bloody inflamed sack..... the doctor would not even come out and explain what it was... then when he finally called me back hours later I was told I could no longer be seen because I used profanity! If you want your animal to have personal care don’t go here.

I had an appointment for my German shepherd at 3 today. I arrived and I called multiple times like it says on the sign. No one ever answered so I walked in with my pet because I wasn’t sure if their phones were working and I kept seeing people walk in. The lady working the front desk today was extremely rude to me when I walked in. She asked why I came inside and if I had called first with a huge attitude. When I explained I had been calling because I was trying to check in and let them know I arrived she proceeded to get even more snappy and stated that she was busy and was the only one there and that I just needed to wait. I would not have been upset except for the fact she was very rude and snappy and embarrassed me in front of other customers because I had walked in the establishment (even with a mask on). So, I turned to leave and she was like ummm excuse me just give me a minute, in a very snotty tone. So I told her no thank you, I’ll take my dog to the other veterinarian. I normally do not get upset but there was zero reason for her to be snappy and rude, if she would have explained she was busy in a nice tone I would have been completely okay with it, but instead she embarrassed me and made me feel like an idiot for walking inside while other customers were sitting there. Not a way to do business and I will not take my dog there again, I will take them to the other banfield where I have never had issues and they have always been super nice.

Those who know me can attest to the fact that I never write reviews. BUT, I just wanted to say what a wonderful experience I had with my dog at this clinic. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Fast, friendly service and really appreciated the vet calling me with his findings and his honesty at not trying to sell me on unnecessary procedures or medications. Hard to find helpful, honest people any more.

They forgot they even had my dog at their facility. When I brought her home, she drank water for 5 mins straight. On top of that, they provided zero help for my dog’s condition and charged us $125. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.

It takes a week to get an appointment after they rope you into their membership model pricing. Too many members and not enough appointments. Or you can say profits before pets.

My senior dog had a 12:30 appointment for vaccinations only. They kept her in a cage for 5 hours without getting her vaccines. I continued to call. I stayed on hold for 12 minutes, 16 minutes, and 12 minutes. The people were extremely rude. If I could give 0 stars I would. I will be canceling all 3 pet plans.

They always take amazing care of my pet. After a recent procedure, the staff called the next day to check-in on my pet to ensure everything was ok. I highly recommend Banfield Pet Hospital of Kingwood if you are looking for wonderful people to care for your pets.

The staff at Kingwood Banfield have blown me away with not only their kindness, but also professionalism. This Banfield is an absolute gift to Kingwood and helped provide me with peace of mind while taking care of my dog. Thank you Dr. Reed and thank you Kingwood Bafield staff for being there for my dog and providing such an incredible love and affection.

I’m really upset about how the front desk worker by the name “Stephanie” treated me yesterday on the phone, she called me from the bandfield number as she was handling customers and told me that they have been calling me all day..I was confused as why she was saying they have been calling me all day and I told her that I’ve had my phone with me all day and that it was the first time I’ve recieved a call from them since earlier before we dropped off our pet, then she started basically started getting an attitude with me & told me that she needed a better number instead of mine for the primary number in a very hateful manner, never have I been so upset and mad with someone at Bandfield, my pet is very sick and ill and the last thing I need is this lady being horrible to me on the phone..anyway it turns out that they did call me twice but from unknown numbers that I’m unfamiliar with instead of calling me from the actual bandfield number line which is why I never answered my cell phone because too many telemarketers call, also I received no voice mails from them, all they had to do was leave one voice mail and I would had called back right away.. Bandfield , please, add all numbers to your bandfield number ID for calling purposes, not many people answer unknown callers.

The staff is great, my kitty has been doing amazing after bringing her here. I took her previously to 2 other vets and was still sick even after their treatments. I will always bring all my pets here.

Overpriced, front desk employees are snide, rude and don't follow their own guidelines for animal safety. Placed our dog onto floor before parvo shots were administered, plans can not be backed out of without paying full price, if price isn't payed, threatened with legal actions to include debt collectors and credit reports, so you basically pay a years worth for 6 months worth of appointments, much cheaper and more efficient places in the area. Dont waste your time, price highly marked up, quoted surgery for broken leg for dog 5-6k dollars, other place ran 2k. Go somewhere else, you're not missing anything.
