Came here looking to adopt a kitten and the manager was rude. Waited over 1 hour and after filling out all the paperwork one of the workers said that the manager did not approve of the adoption, but he could bring the manager so I could speak with her about why I could not adopt today. She explained why she said no and immediately walked away, seemed as though she didn’t want to get clarification on the answers I put on the adoption sheet. My boyfriend was trying to clarify what we said on the paper and long story short she was not trying to hear it. Not great service at all!

It's a very busy place!!! I needed help to rehome a stray cat and five kittens and they gave me a person's number to contact. It was a bit loud in the main area.

I recommend this place. For anyone that needs a affordable vet and they take care of our animals

I got my dog neutered here it was a smooth calm experience. They got the procedure finished pretty quick and they answered all my questions about his after care, he is doing great. No complaints.

Online sign up and appointments was super convenient. Drop off and pick up is organized. Cost was affordable. My little girl came home and was medicated the first day and about back to normal on the second day. Great work. CON: Loud barking, uncontrolled dogs terrify cats.

I adopted a cat from this shelter a month ago and it was a great experience! The staff member on duty discussed my living situation with me when I asked and helped me decide which cat would be a good fit. The adoption process was transparent and straightforward. It was obvious when I visited that the cats were well cared for, and the last month has confirmed that: my little girl settled in quickly, is happy and affectionate, and has no health or behavior problems. I would wholeheartedly recommend Humane Heroes to anyone in the area looking to adopt!

Definitely would not recommend! Had both of my dogs neutered here, everything was definitely rushed,no sense of organization, to many people booked on the same day! The way they performed the surgery was not even needed! Had to go to another vet for one of my dogs continuing to bleed after the surgery. They even added on to my bill without consulting me about it first! Definitely would not go there.

I took my cat for his neutering procedure and they took care of him very well. He is running around like nothing happened. I couldn’t ask for a better place to have my pets cared for. Thanks again!!!

I plan on taking other pets there. They were professional, good at sending reminders, and cheaper than most vet clinics.

They are so nice here. The prices to spay and neuter are cheap. Vaccines are cheap too.

Really wish there was a way to put zero stars. I took my cat, who is a completely indoor cat with no other cats, in to be spayed by these people, and they tell me that the "cone of shame" is a requirement to purchase, when on the form that I filled out it is listed just as a recommendation. At first I was really irritated that all of a sudden I now have to purchase something that I didn't want to in the first place, but figured I'd bite my tongue since I already scheduled this and did the nonrefundable down payment. Get the call later that day that my cat did great and will be ready for pick up at 3. Ten minutes later I get an email stating that my bill that was expected to be around $75 is now $90. I call the center and they then inform me that the "cone of shame" isn't a requirement to be purchased and I would have to sign a waiver to get it off my bill, clearly there is no correct communication if these people don't know the difference between required and recommended, and that my cat was pregnant. After getting heated and trying to figure out why they are trying to claim my cat to be pregnant, when she clearly is not, they tell me that the vet is already gone so they would have to wait until the next day to figure this out. Get a call back from them the next day and they say that the vet determined that my cat was pregnant due to when he pulled out the uterus, there were small hard lumps. The woman on the phone even told me that it could have been anything from cysts, tumors, or even pregnancy, but they aren't going to cut it open or call the customer to let them know, so they just say it's pregnancy since it will cost the customer an extra $15 either way. When asked why they didn't inform me that there were hard lumps that could indicate something that I would need to know about for my cat's health and safety, they said that it's not on them to insure this and it's my fault that I didn't take her to a different place. For a place that claims to care for animals, they sure do have a great way of showing just the opposite. And I will be pursuing further to understand if their treatment of my cat and utter disregard to inform me of my pet's proper health rather than just calling it whatever they wanted is malpractice. And if them claiming this without evidence is proper or not, rather than them just claiming this so they can get more money out of their customers. Definitely will never recommend them to anyone who really cares about their pet's.

Both my dogs just recently got neutered and spayed here and picked up kennel cough! 75 dollars for each cost me hundreds in meds and a treatment.

Love my dog that I got there. She is such a good and loving puppy and while train for a puppy to not go potty in the house. She great with other dogs and most of all toddlers ????.... The staff there are very nice and respectful and totally cool

I recently just adopted a two month old puppy. I’ve always said “adopt not shop. My puppy caught my eye because she was the calmest one in the shelter. I had her at home for two days before I had to rush her to the vet. She had parvo. Of course the day I take her in their closed. She’s been at the vet for three days. Looking at paying two grand. Best the shelter said they can do was for me to get her transferred in their care. I said no way. They don’t care about their animals they just want the money. Sad

I was blown away by everything they did during and after the adoption process to make sure we were well prepared for the new member of our family! Would highly recommend to everyone wanting a pet
