Terrible experience. They are very unprofessional. Did not wash my dog. Dod an awful job cutting him. He smelled the same. I will never go back

The lady here is super nice

Did a great job on Sparky today. I gave vague directions but they still made him look better than I could describe. Turnaround was quick and price was reasonable. I wish there wasn't an extra charge for credit card however I am still happy overall. Thank you!

Edit: It appears that the owners are incapable of reading documents which clearly show shots are up to date and their parainfluenza shots are good for a year. The Vet at Ft. Hood is awesome and they too shared our confusion on why there was an issue. They were just boarded with a boarding facility last week. Regardless of our incident it doesn’t negate the fact that they are blacklisted on all major groups in the area discussing boarding so I would never let my babies stay here. Do your research folks. This place should be avoided at all costs as previously stated in past reviews. The lady who works the front desk is incompetent and lacks professional communication skills. Unfortunately, I didn’t do my research as they are mentioned on many “do not use” pages for the area. We had a family emergency and needed to board our dogs for an extended period of time. We called to make arrangements and they wanted me to text my dog’s shot records. I obliged and they said they needed to see the due date for the influenza shot on the records They wanted the records to be in a chart format. So we went to our vet and got them a copy (in chart format). Then she said she couldn’t read where the due date is even though it is clearly highlighted. I show her a zoomed in screenshot of the date and she says she can’t see it and that they can’t verify the shot records and can’t board our dogs. Not sure what they have going on. When we went up there to show them the records in person (and were turned away), they seemed very chaotic and unorganized. Find another boarding facility.

Do not recommend leaving your dog here. They do not answer the phone, are never there, and are not easy to work with. We could not get ahold of them all morning and finally got home and went up to the place at 2pm and no one was there. They had previously told me our dog could play outside from 6:30-4:30 but our dog was locked inside in a cage with no one where to take care of him. We called the cops and they were not able to get in. They didn’t even return our calls/text until the next morning. Ridiculous. Thanks for your reply, glad to see you have your phone back. All of that would be great but when we go two days and can’t get ahold of anyone at your business and sit up there for hours (during normal business hours) and no one is there or can answer and we have to call the cops it really concerned us for our dog. Thanks for putting us on the do not allow back list although it was not necessary considering we would never leave our dog there again under any circumstances.

Very unprofessional and only care about their select customers. Since the owner decided to post that I wasn't a customer, I thought I would come back and elaborate. Both owners do a great job of pleading their case when they mess up and treat people poorly. They block you so that others don't see your messages. The best part, they say you aren't a customer. When in fact, I rescued a dog from them, used their grooming services twice, and most recently this year used them for boarding services. They treated me poorly, were very rude. It was difficult to get anyone of them on the phone. When I saw how one of my dogs was being treated, I arranged for a friend to pick them both up a day early. The owner yelled and screamed at me on the phone about me having someone pick them up. When my friend went, she yelled and screamed at him, a ranking member of the military, for no reason. I payed the full price of the days they were there. I told her not to worry about the grooming, so she halfway cut my dog, I believe to be intentionally malicious. If they would allow everyone to share, you would read more horrifying stories, than good. And while she says I wasn't a customer, I have proof.

Top notch pet boarding, daycare, & grooming. Family owned and operated-your dog will get a lot of playtime and snuggles. The staff is great-they really love dogs and your dog will know it. Everything is just what you'd want for your pet. The place is kept very clean with plenty of things for the dogs to play with and on. If you're looking for a professional but family environment for your pet, this is the place.

I tried calling several times and no answer. When I went by their place the door was locked and no one answered. It could be that they were just too busy or overbooked. There was only one car outside the place too. Maybe later on if I decide to try this place again I could give a better review, but like I said I didn't receive any customer service at all.

These people have exceptional integrity. I got to know them through an inaccurately perceived mistake on my part. Despite knowing I was mistaken they dealt with me on a very high level. I applaud them for putting up with me and then showing forgiveness when I admitted I was wrong. This is a good place run by good people.

I brought my dog here for Christmas and they was very nice at first. Told me what my total was going to be before I left and I was fine with that. Called me the day of pick up and told me a different price. I was trying to tell the lady she did the wrong math but instead hang up in my face. Got there I did the math and she apologized but my dog will not return.

If you want your Furbaby cut and have to pick them up bleeding with open wounds then this is the place for you. Then you get to argue with the owner who is charging you for the groom and taking apart the VET bill which they are 100 percent responsible for. Excuses is what TAILS A WAGGIN has. Do not go there. My 5 lb Tea cup Persian has been so injured and now had surgery at 10 years old and they are saying I should have went to their vet and then they would pay the whole bill. Since this was never told I wonder how they think would happen? So disrespectful and rude to me.The groomer was very sorry but said it was up to the owner. Good cop bad cop is what was played here. This has been so stressful for our cat and our family who love this little cat. She has been groomed her whole life and this has never ever happened. 5 PCS's !!! BEWARE of THEIR POLICY IS AS FOLLOWs. TAWGAR personnel agree to exercise due and reasonable care for your pet and house in clean, safe quarters. TAWGAR personnel will not be held liable on their part for loss or damage from disease, death, running away, theft, fire, injury to persons, other animals or property by said animals or other unavoidable causes due to diligence and care having been exercise. So in short, THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR NOTHING . Just a side note:all dogs are happy when you pick them up. Beware.

So, I wasn't going to write a review even though I was very unsatisfied with my service from this place but I decided I needed too. I'm pretty sure I paid $30 for a nail trim and bandana, and I'm not even exaggerating when I say that! I took my dog here Monday to get a bath and nail trim, when I picked her up, she still had paint in her hair from rubbing up against the wall when I was painting our house a few days before...keep in mind this is water based paint, so a wash and brush should have taken this right out. She also didn't really smell any better, especially for taking her somewhere I'm paying $30 for her to get a bath, I'd expect her to smell like she just left the groomer. Now, here is the best part. I decided to give her another bath on Friday, so 4 days AFTER she got a bath from here and just the washing alone she had a ton of her undercoat come out. She doesn't have long hair, and she's not a breed that really sheds (which is why we got her), so for her to have blown that much coat after she supposedly had a bath 4 days before is impossible. After I bathed and dried her, I brushed her out and she had a little more undercoat come out, and magically I was also able to brush the paint out with about two brush strokes. I didn't ask for a groom, haircut, or anything like that...but I've worked at a kennel and we had a groomer, and even the dogs that got just a bath, were always blown out with a dryer and brushed out. Definitely not going back here!

I took my service dog to get a dog-wash as a walk in, when I went to pick it up the attendant in a very nice calm and assertive way told me that this was not a service dog. If you want your service dog discredited you can bring them her thy will evaluate the hard work and dedication you and your furry friend have put in to receive a certification. I had to take the dog home WET in the middle of December, the attendant again said that the dog did not like the dryer. So if you want your dog to tell people what to do, just take tho the professionals at this place they will listen to the dog and charge you the full price anyway. amazing customer care and service.

They are friendly Andrew very helpful ensuring that your pet meets the vaccination requirements. I also really enjoy the pictures and videos they post on Facebook, it helps you to know your pet is having a good time. I will continue to use them as my boarder while in Killeen.

Great staff. Dog is always happy when we pick her up from the kennel.
