Very rude front desk person. Not recommended. The management needs to take action on this.

Update: Was followed up by the manager who did a thorough investigation on what has happened and provided a solution. There is a room to improve the entire process but overall I am glad that it is resolved. Have used their services for more than a year and been satisfying until lately. Ordered some prescribed drug for my dog in PetSmart two weeks ago. PetSmart has sent the prescription multiple times before it canceled the order. I called the vet office three days after the order and they confirmed the request was received and was waiting for the vet's approval, and it normally takes 3 to 5 business days. So I waited for a few days and did not see things were moving. So made another call again and was told it is still pending on vet's approval and it normally takes 7 to 14 days. So two weeks later, PetSmart canceled the order and I made a call again to check what is going on. The answer I got was they could not find any record in the system, and I need to recorder it again. Quite disappointed by the response.

This is the worst place I have ever visited. The staff is too lazy and rude. I hope that those who take their pets there never have an emergency with their beloved dogs. They do not have attitude toward people even less towards our loves dogs. Stay away of this place!!!!

We’ve lived in Katy for about 6 weeks and have 2 little Havanese, that we love dearly. Lexi has a heart problem and is on daily medication. Lexi had started coughing a lot, which usually means her heart condition is worsening I stopped by the clinic and spoke to Penny, at the front desk. She was so kind and compassionate.. She was able to work us in that very afternoon. Dr Ping saw Lexi and he too, was very knowledgeable, kind and compassionate. You could tell he really cared about the animals. He took the time to explain what he was going to do and why. He ran some X-rays and gave her some cough medicine that worked perfectly. Dr Ping was thorough and wasn’t quick to assume it was her heart and over medicate. He called the following day to check on her which I thought was so nice. . Being from Dallas and new to the area and finding the, “Well Pet Clinic” was a true blessing! I would highly recommend them!!

I have been taking my two pugs to WellPet for several years now. We use their vet services and their boarding facility. The front office and the exam rooms are very nicely decorated and comfortable. Dr. Ping is a fantastic vet who truly cares about his patients and their families. We recently had to put one of my pugs down and Dr. Ping was very helpful and thoughtful. The staff is also friendly and helpful. We also like that they don't try to push extra services and products on you. I highly recommend WellPet for your fur babies. :)

The Wellpet Center is a great place! I have taken all of my pets here for years. Always very happy with their knowledge and kindness. All of the Dr.'s, managment and staff are wonderful.

Beautiful place, nice staff. The vet is knowledgeable, and I recommend speaking to him with any questions on cost as well. It is costly here but when it comes to emergencies there is no price.

Wrongly charged me and did not resolve issue until AFTER I posted a negative review. Lied about things they said to me. Very unprofessional, dishonest, poor communication. Worst business I’ve ever encountered.

Excellent service. Yes it is a bit more than other cheaper places, but they make up for it with the care they give. We had a pet move on in life and they were so sweet with us as we grieved and even sent us a personal card a week later.

The WellPet Center is an absolutely great place for all the needs of your pet. The Veterinarian’s and staff have all been very professional and courteous. I am very particular when it comes to the care of my malamute, Pumba. I have the utmost confidence in the care Dr. Michelle has provided Pumba over the years. Maria, Veterinary Technician, has been phenomenal when it comes to her interaction and care of Pumba.

Dr. Aswad was incredibly patient and thorough, even with the curbside and social distancing measures. She asked a lot of questions and responded to all of mine with patience and kindness. She offered multiple options for treatment, and was up front about everything. My dog, Marv, was in good hands, and I feel greatly comforted by my experience. Thank you!

Started going here when I got my puppy and they are absolutely fantastic! Everybody is so nice and loving. They treat my puppy with such care. So glad I made the choice to come here. Love. Definitely would recommend this place to everyone!! I see people’s reviews on here complaining about the prices being too high but I don’t think they are any higher than any other vet. But then again I would rather pay $$$ knowing my baby is in the best care possible. You get what you pay for. (:

I had to euthanize my cat here. Not only did they send me a condolences card filled with handwritten personal messages from each staff member, they also donated a tree to the Arbor foundation in her memory. I don't know if they do this for all pets, or if it was because I was so distraught. Whatever the case, it means so much. Thank you. ????????????????

Very very very expensive . They have a very friendly staff though . I will update here about their treatment as my Great Pyrenees is on a course .

Dr. Bowling is seriously the best vet I have had! I highly recommend her. She will always be honest with you and answer any questions you may have in regards to your pet. I will say I have not been very impressed with the front desk employees... but then Sarah came along! She is awesome, awesome! Extremely professional and helpful. Overall, I will recommend this place and Dr. Bowling to anyone.

This veterinary clinic is excellent. They have always taken care of me and my kittens very well. They are affectionate, attentive, patient and highly trained. Super recommend !!

Dr. Bowling is amazing!! She explained all of the treatment options for my dog’s cancer and really helped me with all my questions. They have a great system during Covid and wait times are minimized as much as possible, along with stress on your pet! Everyone is very helpful and friendly and makes your trip to the vet very easy and efficient! This is a fantastic office, best in the area hands down.

Words cannot express how grateful we are for the care Dr. Bowling and the Wellpet staff gave us and our beloved pup. We went to our first visit with a possible dx in mind and our worst fears were confirmed. Dr. Bowling called us personally less than an hour after she received the biopsy results and provided a caring but realistic prognosis. They were all gracious, understanding and more than accommodating when it came time to say goodbye. Excellent care, would highly recommend and will certainly use again.

Doctor was very detailed. My Yorkie has gone to the same vet since he was12 weeks old. In the many trips to the vet, they never mentioned that he was suffering of allergies and also that his knee cap was out of place. One single visit and his new doctor was able to address few things. Will be back with my Maltese too.

This place is a top-notch facility with excellent care, and they provide you with an estimate of cost of all services before they performed so you can make an informed decision and know exactly what you’re doing and what the costs are going to be. this is better than any veterinary clinic I’ve ever been to. Amazing service at great pricing. My new vet for life.

BEWARE !!! Horrible place! I never heard of a Veterinary Hospital who will not let you go back to the exam room with your pet ! They make you wait in the waiting room while they tally up an outrageous bill ! Way Over Priced!!I Guess they have to pay for their fancy clinic at the expense of their clients. The vets there are not empathetic towards you or your pet. There are many other vet clinics in Katy to choose from, that will give you better care and will not rip you !!

It's ok. Well kept and looks nice. The front desk staff aren't overy friendly though. I just never feel welcomed everytime I walk in the door. The vet tech was great though. Very nice. And the vet doctor wasn't bad either. I felt like they do care about my dogs and they never pushed any extra services on me. (Can't stand when a vet thinks your dog needs a gazillion vaccinations and tests every time you visit. So they were never pushy, which was nice. I guess just maybe try some Texas friendlessness when your customer walks in the door.

We adore Dr. Ping and the staff at WellPet. Dr. Ping table-side manner is so compassionate and caring. We have a 14 year old beagle and his approach to her care is loving and practical. I love that he works with us to jointly come up with care plans for our elderly furbaby. Plus he is just a really nice guy to talk to!

What a great staff and facility. Dr.Thurmond and Dr. Ping are long standing members of the community and trusted with much more than pets. Their open , consultative and candid communication sets them apart. It’s very refreshing to see two highly accomplished Vets and volunteers working as a tight knit team. All for the wellness of my dog. Thanks to you and your accomplished staff.

This place is horrible, rude people and high prices! They charge more to house a dog than getting a hotel !!!!!! They add line items to bill to jack up the bill and drive the price up! Stay away!!!!

We have used The WellPet Center for both boarding and as our pets vet services. Having tried several others in the area, they are hands down the best. All of our animals come here now, cats and dog.
