I live near this place. I have two dogs and they're who I use. My dogs don't shed, so I take them there for fur removal. It's like $60, but for several hours with my dogs, seems like a bargain.

They were really good. My dogs needed grooming. The price was good & they were good with the dogs. They look so good.

I went to schedule an appointment with for my dog and they’re not excepting appointments at this time. I was told to call back in three weeks and maybe they will be able to schedule something. I let them know that this was poor quality and was going to write a review and the young man said I don’t care I’ll just flag it as false. What a horrible business practice you have young man, you this Is horrible customer service they don’t make your dogs have shots so I wouldn’t trust their equipment. It is sad that minority owned businesses don’t know how to be professional.

They didn't answer the phone when I called

I have been bringing my dog here for years and have been very happy with their service. Something has changed! I called and have to leave them a message to call me to have my dog groomed. I thought perhaps they were on vacation. They did all me back a few days later and I made an appointment for my dog. When I showed up at the appointment time the lady told me my appointment was an hour early and made no attempt to reschedule. She was very rude and treated me poorly! I got the feeling she was not in a very good mood. I left and went to my car and doubled checked my phone and I had down the time I thought. So I went back in and asked when was the next appointment time available and she said 10 days later. So sad I will find another groomer now. Some people should never be allowed to talk to customers!

They are very friendly. I have a small dog and I take him there to get groomed and his nails clipped. Very time I take him they do a wonderful job. I highly recommend them.

They are above board, very great dog handlers and groomers, I feel very comfortable when I bring my dog here. I enjoy seeing the same groomers there, and when they remember my dog when he comes in. Very pleased with their service.

I LOVE barkingdales. They always treat my little ones as if they were their own. They smell, look and feel amazing after. I have 6 dogs in total. One of them being a shih tzu that used to freak out every time I took him to pets mart. He would be so in distress that he would come home after and sleep for hours on end. After changing up all of my dogs to go to barkingdales, he enjoys the groomers. None of my dogs are afraid of the groomers. In fact, one of them tries to run in the back all the time LOL. They do an amazing job and have great patience and are not hostile despite sometimes having difficult dogs. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I let my boyfriend take care of the dog grooming this time since I am new to Irving. He decided on barkingdales. I was very happy with his cut and he seemed pretty calm when I got home that day. Which is great because he is a very nervous dog! We will definitely be taking him back there.

What a great place to go and get your dog groomed or nails trimmed. I trust these guys over a petsmart groomer 100%. The employees there are always very polite and prompt to greet you. I've been going to barkingdales for several years now and am very proud to support local businesses in my area. I would recommend them to anyone. If you love your pet, take them to barkingdales.

After going here once 2 years ago, no one else is allowed to cut my dogs hair. They do an excellent job!

Great service and price been here since my little girl was a puppy

I’m a new dog owner (newish, been almost a year now) and have tried a few different places for my very timid Pomeranian. My dog is not aggressive but has the saddest puppy dog eyes you’ll ever see when he is nervous. Anyway, I made Marco at Barkingdales aware of this and informed him that other places would give him back without a cut in the past and he said it wouldn’t be an issue. Marco trimmed up my pup very neatly and he looked a lot happier than he did when I had picked him up at other places. The pricing is fair and my dog seems pretty pleased with the treatment they gave him. Thank you Marco for being so friendly and helpful, you did an excellent job with my scaredy cat of a dog. We will be back!

I took my puppies for the third time and I should have realized something was wrong when my fur babies didn't want to go inside. After my schnauzer was groomed he couldn't open his eyes. The next morning his eyes were matted shut. When I asked Marco at Barkingdales what they did his response was that he probably got hair in his eyes. I took my pup to the vets office to find out he had abrasions on both eyes. I hope anyone looking for a groomer reads this and avoids this place at all cost, for your dogs sake.
