Very good service and very high prices. If your pet has tricky health issues, I would recommend. If you just need routine care and are on a tight budget, there may be more affordable options for you.

Amazing service and knowledge. I just moved here and was able to get my kitty in same day for a time sensitive emergency & they were so amazing with him. I’m so thankful for this amazing vet.

Great services, location and front office and grooming staff

New to the area, I took my pup here for a UTI with the good reviews I expected A good visit. First visit was fine, staff was nice. However, doc didn’t perform a full exam on my pup… took her to my vet back home when I was visiting family a week later to find she had an ear infection that had been missed because doc didn’t bother to do a full exam and check her ears… Fast forward to her follow up appointment for a Urinalysis to check and make sure infection was gone, doc left the room multiple times during the exam and most times I was Mid sentence trying to tell him my concerns. He said “I’ll take pup outside to get a urine sample”, and comes back not 2 minutes later with a needle he’d stuck in her bladder instead of taking her outside to catch a urine sample first. My follow up recheck appointment was $100 and all they did was brush off my concerns and tell me to come back if I had Any more concerns in a couple weeks. He didn’t seem to care too much about my pet and more so cared about charging for what he could.

I took my dog here yesterday for a dental cleaning. The doc did a great job on the tooth cleaning. However at the time I booked the appointment I asked that they call me if there were any additional charges or if teeth needed to be extracted. I was prepared financially for additional charges. But I wanted this professional courtesy as to not be blindsided by charges. They called me at 11 am to ask me if I wanted his nail trimmed. I did not hear another word from the clinic until 5pm, when I called. Ummmmm.....where's my dog? How much is the service? The service was $451.00 and they extracted 4 teeth. I was furious because of their lack of transparency. Then the jackass doctor gets on the phone and says, "Well, I saw the note but it was confusing". Folks, common sense isn't that common. I agree with some of the other comments, this doctors wants your money. Any service over $100 you should contact the customer first.

Shouldn’t cost $50 each pet for an “annual physical exam” while I just wanted to keep up to date on vaccines and medication for fleas. Serious up-charges here will make me take business somewhere else.

The doctor is thorough in his exam yet also moves quickly and efficiently which we appreciate. No wait time and the staff is friendly.

Took my fur baby here on short notice They were able to get her fixed up and didn’t cost me an arm and a leg.

The receptionists were so nice and helpful. But I didn't like how the vet treated me-- he raised his voice at me for asking a couple of questions about the info he was quickly going over with us. It made me feel uncomfortable as if I couldn't ask for clarifications. I read other people's reviews and looks like I'm not alone in this.

A few days ago, The Animal Clinic. Of Valley Ranch called to inform me that they had my cat that had been lost for nearly a year. I respect that they took the SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY to contact me and see if I would like to have my pet back.

Our 1st time here getting our new rescue his shots. Everyone was so friendly & knowledgeable. It was quick & easy. I'd recommend it to anyone!

Best vet in north Texas

Great clinic. The office staff is always efficient and always gets my babies in when they need it. Jennifer is great! We have been seeing Dr Chaikin since 2014. He always has the answer for our babies. Would highly recommend this clinic.

Overall, a good experience. My dog was diagnosed with hookworms and an eye infection. I appreciated that the front office staff helped find cheaper meds for my pup. The doctor was professional, though not affable. We were able to quickly schedule appointments and will certainly return for future needs.

I dropped off my pup early morning for emergency. They are very caring and responsible. They are time-saving and the charge is reasonable. Thanks to them, my pup is healthy again!

This is my 3rd dog and 5th family dog that Dr. Chaikin has taken care of. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I trust him explicitly. He has been there with me through the best of times and worst of times.

Very friendly staff, facilities are excellent and you feel you can thrust Dr. Barry Chaikin experience on taking care of your animal. We have a 17 Y.O. female cat and Pituka was calm all the time by the way the doctor has dealt with her. Recommended!

Dr. Chankin has great bedside manner and really listens and not out for money. He genuinely cares about healing your pet.

I have used this same vet since I moved to Texas many years ago and can't even imagine trusting my pets to another vet. He is excellent at diagnosis and an amazing surgeon as I discovered when my dog got cancer. Highly recommend.

I had to unfortunately put my senior kitty to sleep a few days ago, and the wonderful employees here made all the difference. They were absolutely kind and gentle, and allowed me to stay back with her until we were ready. I can't express how comforting they were during such an awful time. Excellent service.
