Vet read bloodwork wrong and I believed her. My dog died. My love of my life dog died because of this place. Please don't take that chance here...

This was my first visit, and they were totally awesome! They did everything possible to help with my puppy. So gentle and caring. They even called a few days after the visit to check on her! No need to shop around, I will definitely be back.

Very friendly staff and the prices are reasonable. Been taking my dog here since he was a pup. The walk-in only is both a blessing and a curse. Awesome to just swing by and get in but if you're not early you will wait for a while. Longest I've waited was 4 hours. Very hard to plan into a schedule/time off. But if you time it right you can be in and out in less then 30.

I was really hoping for some guidance, I made it clear in my phone call that all three of my cats have ear mites and I just needed to know what medication would be best. I offered to bring one of them in to get treated and to speak to the vet, but the lady who answered the phone was not very helpful at all and told me I would need to bring all three of them in. After I told her I couldn’t afford to pay for all three of them and I was just hoping to learn what I could do, she just kind of made a dismissive noise and then didn’t say anything. We recently moved to the area and I was hoping this could be the new clinic that I took my cats to, but after that type of response, I just don’t think I can work with people who respond so carelessly. It was really disappointing. :/

They were great! When I called the nice lady at the desk answered every question with patience! Once I arrived she greated me & got me checked in and when taking my payment at the end she was still every bit as kind. During the exam the tech was very clear & descriptive of what was going on & how we would continue to care for our baby at home. He also, answered every question I had with patience! You could also really tell that he enjoyed his job. The Dr was awesome as well & tried to give us the most affordable price possible. (Honestly DID give us the most affordable price possible everywhere else was quoting at least 200 more than what we paid.) Thank you to the whole staff ????

Went in with my fur baby today as a new patient and was beyond pleasantly surprised. This is a very clean and friendly facility, amazing care and pricing. I would highly recommend!!

Do thay speak Spanish here and is it cheap for an exam. And an exray.

Kept trying to take my cat to the vet for 3 weeks and kept being turned away. Ended up having to schedule an appointment at a different vet. Don't recommend.

Been going to this animal clinic for over 30 yrs and they are the best around. Kind and caring employees and the Dr. Is wonderful. Love this place.

One of the few vet clinics around Fort Worth that accepts only walk-ins. Others were booked a week or two out. So my suffering dog got much quicker (and good quality) comprehensive service. Don't let the simple building and office put you off. These are professionals who care about your pet.

They cut Baby girls nails and wasn't there but 15 minutes

I would give a no star if I could. We waited out in the heat for 2 hours in the car before seen. My dog had very bad ear flap hematoma and ear infection. South Hills did nothing but schedule her for an operation for 2 weeks. No antibiotics, nothing. I questioned no meds and was told nothing could be done until after the operation. The next day my baby was in so much pain she couldn't move, she peed on herself. I took her to the ER hospital on Bryant Irvin and they couldn't believe her condition had not been treated the day before. And the long wait for surgery. Her ears were cleaned, she was given pain and antibiotics. The next day, she had immediately surgery at South Hills vet........she is so much better. WARNING: If you love your pet...stay away from Southside Vet.......

Staff was very welcoming, kind, and knowledgeable. I like that I was able to go in with my dog alot of vet offices are not allowing this due to covid. Prices were very reasonable. Also enjoyed spending time with their sweet office cat he was quite the greeter.

Extremely disappointed. I feel this clinic is appropriate for normal or routine check ups. It’s walk ins only & isn’t meant for sick animals. I didn’t feel my situation was an emergency or I would have taken my cat to a hospital for adequate care. But after spending 4 plus hours waiting, & almost $300 later. I left with no answers. It’s extremely disappointing & disheartening. My cat is still ill & if you don’t want to continue to rack up your bill with more testing, that you still aren’t guaranteed any answers for. The vet doesn’t come back in to finish the visit or give any further information of what I could do at home or what to expect, or anything to do moving forward. Don’t waste your time or money here.

Dr Dozier is cool and all but its a little pricey, bravecto is $45 at tcap and $76 here, thats a bit much

The veterinarian was so gentle and caring when she handled my cat. Would definitely recommend Southside Veterinary Clinic!

I brought my bby boy basset hound pup named lowkey here a few weeks ago he was almost 3 months old ,I brought him to test for parvo ,I don't understand how it even got in my yard or how he got it ,but he tested negative while he was there ,but the next day he got sick and passed away, it was very fast and broke my heart ,his life ending so soon before he even got to experience it ,but the clinic was very awesome and told me after his negative test that he still could get it,witch I knew ,but they did a great job and even called to check on him a few days later. That's when I told them about his passing and they all signed and sent me a beautiful card ,I thought that was very sweet and very thoughtful letting me know that they did care , I would recommend them to anyone and I definitely plan on bringing my 3 other dogs in when and if they may need to be seen Awesome job guy's ????

Highly recommend Southside vet clinic. Dr Dozier is a very caring veterinarian. All the staff is very professional and nice.
