I went to the other pet hospital before and had a not good experience. Then I found the West Alabama Animal Clinic. I was attracted by the photo that they have separate spaces for cat and dog from their website first. I went to there today and was highly impressed by their service. Thank you, Ms. Technician and Dr. Haffey! I would highly recommend this nice pet hospital.

Unwilling to help me when i found a stray puppy. They said they would connect me to a foster care place but never bothered to follow up with me or send any info to me. My mom and sister have both brought their dogs to this clinic but I never would with my dog - based on this specific experience.

Usually a great place. However, I had a horrible experience today. I was waiting for them to bring out our German Shepherd when I noticed another customer putting our dog in their car. They handed our dog over to the wrong person! They apologized, but that's it. There is no excuse for this to happen.

They make it easy b/c you can drop your dog off in the morning and they will call you later when they have finished with the exam and then you can pick your dog up anytime before 6:00. When they call you back, the vet will discuss with you about their examination. I just took my dog in for a teeth cleaning which requires the dog to be put under on anesthesia. They were good about texting the next day to see how my dog was doing coming off the anesthesia.

My family has been going here for over 20 years, we even drive from Alvin to get there and never again. They are dishonest and cheat you out of money. I took my mom's dog there for allergies and they told me they called her to get all medical decisions approved by her. When I went to pick her up they hit me with over a 750 bill and told me they called her to get everything approved so I paid it. When I called my mom to tell her I picked up her dog and what the bill was she told me they never got anything approved from her she was shocked with the bill. They are no longer the quality vet that they used to be do not take your pets here they will create stuff wrong with your pet to charge you for test just to show there's nothing wrong and still charge you the money.

My dog loves the Vet (Elizabeth). They are very good. Great place for Cats and Dogs.

A wonderful clinic. Professional staff, great doctors. They make you feel at home and it is obvious that they really care about their patients. We love Dr. Dold! Just an overall great person and an amazing doctor.

I had gotten my dog suddenly after my grandpa passed away, and upon bringing him to Houston this was the only animal clinic I ever took him to. This dog had never been good at the vet, *especially* the groomers (shih tzu) and always had to be drugged prior, having even been told to have him sedated while getting a trim on his face. He never had to be sedated or drugged at West Alabama. I truly can't express what they did for this dog and we are truly thankful to the amazing staff at this clinic. :)

Our dog and two cats receive such wonderful veterinary care. The vets are so enjoyable, knowledgeable and thorough. The front desk is so accessible; you can even text them a quick question. So thankful to have them in our lives!

WAAC has been caring for all of our dogs for almost 30 years. They've provided wellness care, emergency care, surgery, end-of-life care, and boarding. The staff is knowledgeable, caring, compassionate, professional, and always quickly responsive to any questions via phone, text, or email. They are so supportive of us human parents as we deal with issues of our beloved little ones.

I've been going to West Alabama Animal Clinic for many years. I had a particularly awesome experience this week: We were waiting in the room for the vet, I posted a check-in and one of the staff saw the check-in and came in just to pet my doggos. So cute! They truly love animals and it shows!

Saved my puppies life after being hit by a car. They elected her to be the first to use their new laser treatment for her wounds and she ended up healing much quicker than ever thought possible. It was truly incredible. They even worked with me on a payment plan after saving my 6 month old puppy. Thanks guys! Much love!

I just had my first appointment at this clinic and the entire staff was AMAZING, especially taking great precautions with the current pandemic. I got to see Dr. Parham and Alex, who were both so helpful. My dog gets nervous at the vet and they did a great job at comforting him. They've really nailed down their process of taking in pets without any appointment delays or long waits. The doctor was also super knowledgable and helpful in providing info for my dog's next neutering appointment. Highly recommend!!!

Such a wonderful group of doctors, my dog has no fear, no anxiety about visiting the vet. She gets great care and the time and attention the doctors pay to answering all of my questions makes for a great experience for both of us. Highly Recommend this vet center for anyone looking for a vet.

First time at West Alabama Animal Clinic, new to Houston, love the staff, doctor and exceptional care my doggie received. We’ll be back for grooming because I know they’ll take good care of her.

I came here after a subpar experience at another vet. My cat had a serious uterine infection and this outfit completely fixed her up and possibly saved her life. They know what they’re doing here. Thank you Megan for fitting us into a tight day, and Dr. Parham for treating her so well and a successful surgery. Isabella is a very happy cat now. Also, the best taco truck in Houston is right across the street, if you like to multitask :)

They were absolutely great with Nieman! They were fast and very great at explaining exactly what was best for him. This will now be his primary vet!

I'm 80 years old and decided to adopt a "senior" dog; but had not had a dog in 62 years. I now have a 5-year-old dachshund named Tank (not named by me). I have learned a lot from an informative book but would have floundered on the health issues were it not for the folks at West Alabama Animal Clinic. We recently started visiting here after a horrible experience at somewhere else: They are caring, very respectful and understanding. Our dog Po is reactive and has a fear issue, but they definitely do not make you feel marginal as if this is something to be ashamed of. Not many places are like this, especially in Houston, and we appreciate their services!

I've been taking our pets to West Alabama animal clinic since 2003. It is an extremely professional practice and it provides an excellent experience for cats in particular. They are responsive, always have availability for kenneling, and have a very helpful online prescription diet and medication ordering system. I also want to highlight the grooming service--it has been, by a wide margin, the best grooming experience that we've had for our Miniature Schnauzer.

I love this place. They are very affordable and don't do any unnecessary test. I trust them 100% when caring for my animals.

Picked up my kitty from boarding. It was pouring down rain & the curbside pickup was awesome & efficient. Confident my kitty was well taken care of. He relaxed after finally realizing he was home. Highly recommend!
