VCA Countryside Animal Hospital Houston, Texas

We had to bring in a kitten that just showed up at our doorstep. He was very sick. He had to be seen ASAP. We arrived at Countryside and the fit us in . The staff was very professional and caring. Dr. Washington took great care to explain all that the kitten, 9 wks old, was suffering with.They were very thorough and went over all the treatments. We brought him home with confidence that we can save him. Very grateful to Dr. Washington and the staff.

Very kind, knowledgeable staff helped my poor pup to feel better today. Extremely thankful for them. Would absolutely go back.

My first time there and it was a great experience! My dog was calmer throughout the whole visit better than he was at his old vet. Plus they gave me goodies for my first visit ! Thank you VCA for making mine and Rocky’s experience the best!!

This place is really awesome. First time visits are free and their prices after are reasonable. They really seem to care about your pets. I have sent several family/friends here and will keep doing so.

I recently got a new puppy and VCA has done nothing but take excellent care of her. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and cares about the animals they deal with every day.

Last night we had to say good bye to our Honey, during this hard time Dr Washington and her staff showed my family so much compassion and understanding. They stayed open late to allow my daughter time to get there and say good bye. The gave us more time until we were ready to finally let go. Dr Washington showed that this was something that was difficult for her to even do, she cried along with us which just shows the love they have for animals. The times I have taken Honey for check ups, shots or just a cleaning Honey was never scared she would actually try to take off to the back for the cleaning before signing her in. I’m truly grateful to everyone there and I will always recommend this as a great place to take your pet for great care. ❤️????

They are refusing to allow anyone to accompany their pets, in particular dogs because of the COVID-19 "pandemic" which has already been proven to be an inflated hoax. Right now, the trust in the medical field is low, and I will not trust my dog and best friend of 10 years alone with any of these random people if I do not get to monitor the situation.. especially an exam where they could do who knows what while I'm not looking. I'm definitely never bringing him here and if you truly love your furry family, you shouldn't either.

Absolutely wonderful place. Awesome staff all around. Everyone I came in contact with customer service was at its finest. My puppy didn't make it but they showed they really cared. I took them a goody bag of treats to show how much I appreciate the kindness Whenever I get my next puppy this is where I will come.

Covid has made everything different and difficult, but VCA tries their best to work with everyone. Parking lot wait, you call and they come to get your pets. They call you as you wait and inform you of everything.

I had to have our sweet Molly put to sleep. She was our 14 year old weenie. Her litter mate, Scotty had to be put down just a little over 2 months ago. Dr Washington and staff are just amazing. I was broken hearted and they were so kind and handled our babies with care.

Dr.Washington and the entire staff are awesome. I've been going here for several years. They definitely take good care of your pet. I even get my dogs groomed here. I've attached a picture of Bentley and Nalu after being groomed. They love it here, except of course when they have to get shots.

I love bringing my pets here and everyone there is absolutely amazing!!!
