I am a 21 year old with my very first dog, so I have to pay for my fur babies bills. I have been going to thrive for a little over a year, and my pup has stayed healthy and I have been able to afford every visit!

My cat who is a fradie cat did great under Doctor Jones care. Justin was great too who gave my cat Lilly her Vaccines. She didn’t even flinch. They were very kind and gentle. I recommend Thrive Pet Care.

Don’t take your pets here. Very bad service and experience. Manager has bad attitude. Use Texas Little Control!

They have become my go to vet because the prices are cheaper than most other vets I have been to and overall the service is usually great. Short wait times, nice employees. Mainly rating 4 stars after my last visit, where the vet was very rude. She was rough with my cat even after she began hissing and growling. The vet also made a demeaning comment about my age, which was off-putting. On the other hand, the vet tech who worked with us was amazing. She was so sweet and cared. My cat did not hiss at her because she was gentle and listened to me about my cat's behavior. She saved me so much stress. I think her name was Devin and she deserves a review for herself.

I just believe, that if you are going to allow only a five minute grace period for the appointment time; that it should be posted information. So that those who don’t believe they may not make the exact time can call to make a different appointment. Thank you, Danny Wheeler

Thrive was okay visit for my mini poodle. The helper didn’t provide the feedback from her heartworm test until I asked. Little apprehensive on coming back. Overall, okay visit.

I would give 0 stars and Unfortunately I’ve been having issues lately at this place, the receptionist MEGAN !!! very unprofessional, she gave everyone a room except for me,even that I got on time to the app. I told her clearly l, that I needed to speak to a Dr about my senior cat and she completely ignore it. I’ve already called several times to the director Dr Jessica Michalec and complained about the staff that runs this clinic, But it seems that nothing has changed. On the other side,Dr. Miller is the one took care of my cat today and she kindly went outside and answer my questions, even I never got a room for my cat. So I don’t recommend this place ,since they charge you whatever they want and still you get this horrible service.

I recently got a kitten, and she needed a little extra care. Not only did she need her kitten vaccinations, but she needed surgery for an umbilical hernia (a very large umbilical hernia) repair and a spay. All I can say is I'm extremely happy with Thrive. They have packages for kitten vaccinations - which is far more affordable than other vet clinics, and they have ample available appointments. They are extremely responsive and are able to answer my questions with a swiftness. I highly recommend Dr. Renee Jones for your pets surgery! She's extremely kind/caring, detailed oriented and her work shows it! I can tell how much she cares about the animals. She called and gave me an update on my kittens umbilical hernia/spay surgery before pick-up, and answered any questions I had - which eased my anxiety. My kitten is currently recovering with no issues and I couldn't be happier!

My maltipoo and I were treated good, fair and all questions were answered. I did ask for prices beforehand. To not receive any hidden or surprise charges. Our third time to this location.

I had a female dog that was in really bad conditions. I take her here thinking it would be cheaper due to the emergency hospital charging me $1000 for just a X-ray. I take my pet in the next morning and right off the bat I’m already paying a simple $250 just for them to see her and take her in. Take in I had already told them I came to get only X-rays to see what the problem is. THEY TAKE MY MONEY. THEY DONT GIVE BACK Receipts. SO MAKE SURE TO ASK WHAT THEY ARE CHARGING. I ended up paying $530 and didn’t even receive what I needed they shortly sent me a email stating that I needed to go to the emergency hospital to get the X-ray. Yet I had told them I was already there. This is a whole money scheme. DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE FOR CARE. I SPENT A TOTAL OF 800 to receive nothing not even the veterinarian came to speak to me or tell me anything. Worst experience ever I don’t recommend you take your lovely animals here.

Not super impressed with Thrive, they are not affordable at all. If you’re taking your new puppy for shots, be prepared to pay $59 three times since they make you go get shots 3 times. For some reason they don’t like to give puppies all of their shots all at once like any other vet. But whatever i’m already 3 appointments in, I might as well finish it off. They are also a hot mess, my second appointment I wasn’t even taken to a room or even got to speak to a doctor. I asked a few questions to the technician that then I was told I was given incorrect information on my 3rd appointment. This place just seems like a place where they hire people to do their vet school hours and they move in to open up their own practice. I’ve had 3 different Vet/Dr so far. They also don’t have a phone number you can call directly, you have to call the call center towards where they try their best to answer your questions. Everyone also seems to have an attitude all the time.

Update, I originally gave them one star about a year ago because the front desk people were always rude and the appointment system never worked correctly. I decided to give them another try and it worked out great, friendly staff, no appointment problems and reasonable prices. On a side note, I wish they would expand their front check in area, it is too crowded, not enough space for multiple pets and their owners.

I brought in a 120 lb Cane Corso that just showed up at my doorstep. He is pretty aggressive with men. They did everything they could to accommodate him. Very patient, gentle and professional. I will definitely continue to bring my big beast here. I think he will eventually warm up to the guys :) Great service!!

Originally liked this place, but they overcharge for everything. It costs $46 for a booster shot - the same kind you can buy at tractor supply for $10. They say “$17” for the etch visit, and it ended up being $46. They also quoted me $346 to do bloodwork/neuter. Not too happy.

Wonderful, friendly people offering low cost vet care. This place is a God send for those of us who are having difficult financial times or just want quality full service vet care at affordable prices. Thrive has a "Prime membership" where you pay $10 per month. With the Prime you get unlimited visits for $0!! You also get 10% off their services (i.e. nail trim, ear cleaning, etc...)!

I have never left a review. But I feel like I must this time in order to warn future customers as I feel nothing but regret for coming to this location. I called to set up an appointment for my kitten for the kitten package for their vaccines. It seemed like everything was fine but they messed everything up. My name was incorrectly spelt, my email was incorrect, and to top it off I still do not have a receipt for my first visit September 29. Even though I have called multiple times, and had to correct my information on two separate occasions before it was actually changed. They have some kind of answering service that is completely unknowledgeable about anything, you will not get any answers from them in any shape or form besides generic responses. So trying to communicate with them is impossible besides actually going to the store. My assumption for why I still have no receipt is because they are incompetent or they use this as a way to get more money out of customers. I signed up for the kitten package but they charged me individually for everything. 2 kittens for basic vaccinations ended up being 300$ and some change. That is not affordable in any capacity. So if you are struggling or don't like to waste money. Do not waste your time or money here. There are tons of better options.

I stopped by today at about 11:25 on my way to work to drop off a stool sample and it was closed. I checked the hours online and the door both say they're open Monday-Friday 8 am- 6 pm. There was no sign on the door explaining why they were closed. There was another guy waiting outside also confused as to why they were closed. Last few times I've been here haven't been the greatest either. Everyone moves at a glacial pace and always have an attitude for some reason.

Thrive was great with our 15 year old dog. It was also very reasonably priced. I really recommend them.
