The vets here are wonderful and informative. The pricing is definitely unbeatable and the customer service reps are always kind. I would highly recommend bringing your pet here.

Every time I come here there’s a problem, these staff need to get fired. It’s so frustrating because this location is 3 minutes from my house in clear lake tx. I have to drive an hour to go to the downtown Houston location because they actually do their jobs well. This is ridiculous is there no real management here? The manager looks like she’s 18 years old and acts like my 18 year old as well. Amari is too young and inexperienced to be a manager. She couldn’t even tell me what location does surgeries but she could tell me hers doesn’t..makes no sense at all. How are you having managers that don’t know anything about the company. Something as simple as, “ we don’t do surgeries but this location has surgeries.” Goes above their head. Last time I came here I was called a ma’am because I was trying to explain that my dog needed a certain medication and the lady Carmen got angry because they didn’t want to give it to me and called me ma’am and then smirked and said im sorry sir. ????????‍♂️ wow just wow. Never ever coming here again, will never recommend anyone here, do not come here if you love your animals. They just want your money and don’t offer the experience to back it up.

I absolutely love how welcoming they are! I was given the best advice for my dog for care and the prices are so affordable!

Vet techs are clueless and disorganized. They gave one pet the wrong vaccinations. I'm still not clear on if my other pet received the proper vaccination or if they just reprinted the paperwork to appease me because it also stated the wrong vaccinations. Instead of communicating what was happening with me they left me to sit in a room for over two hours before I eventually stormed out. The manager was equally as clueless and unhelpful. You don't really save much by going here after they add in all the hidden fees. So save yourself the headache and go to a nicer vet office.

I brought my 4 year old Bully in for a checkup and to address some allergy issues. They were quick to see us, patient & kind with my baby and got us all set with necessary medications for a reasonable price. I will definitely bring my boy back to see the great staff at this location!

Ever since i adopted my pup catcher hes been here his previous owner had his shot record from here soo im not changing clinics he comes in and out of hete VIP member for sure ????

I seen about 2 different Vets there they are all super caring always helpful and care about thr animals. Danielle is always super helpful, treats my dogs like its her dogs.

When my cat was sick they took very good care of him. They recommended the right food and really showed care for my cat.

The only negative was the long wait due to being short staffed. Once they saw us; they were sweet, great with Bailey dog and responsive to his needs. Dr’s were professional and you can tell they love animals

Thrive Clear Lake is amazing! The cost is beyond affordable. The staff is very knowledgeable, patient, professional and kind. We moved farther from this location but I will continue to bring my dogs here! I highly recommend the thrive membership so vet visits are free and you get a discount on all things!

Thrive on Bay area blvd in clear lake TX. They are super nice to my Chow Chows. There is no fighting getting dogs into vet because they are treated so well.

I have been bringing my pets to Thrive for several years now and I can honestly say they have some of the best customer service around. All of the vets and techs are amazing and have always taken great care of my babies.

The second I walked in the vibe coming from that place just wasn't it. I brought my kitten there who at the time did not have anything wrong with her, the vet insisted on giving my kitten a whole bunch of tests and shots which they pretty much forced my partner and I to say yes because they kept insisting on that it was the right thing to do at that time so as uncomfortable we already were we just agreed because she was a new kitten and wed have to soon do it anyway but they were messing up prices and the type of tests and shots she would be getting. We were very unhappy at that point and to top it off like i said she went in with absolutely nothing wrong with her but the next few days went down hill. She wasn't eating nor was she drinking which this kitten LOVES her some food so we knew something wasn't right, a few days after taking her she also started to itch her back foot and her ears uncontrollably to the point where she was whining about it. My partner and I had enough and we decided to take our kitten to another vet come to find out she had a bacterial fungi infection ALL over her body. It's just very upsetting and very odd how our kitten goes in with nothing wrong with her but then gets handed back to us with a scratch by her eye and the next day not eating or drinking at all and then a few days later coming down with a bacterial fungi infection which already spending almost $70 on what should have been a free visit to now spending almost $400 at the new vet for more tests and a bacterial shot to help with the itching. The point is there was no reason for my kitten to come out with a scratch by her eye to her entire body being itchy and making it raw come to find out she has a bacterial fungi infection and for us to talk to thrive and them tell us that their place is "clean" and very well disinfected and that they don't know what to tell us and asking for more of our money to cancel a membership that we were again also pretty much forced into getting and the lady saying "Ill just sign yall up for it and you can cancel anytime" but didn't imform us of a cancelation fee when we put out so much money for something that should have not happened is very upsetting and it was very unprofessional there and on the call. Also seeing other reviews about animals dying and getting very sick after other people taking their pets there is not okay at all.

If I could rate 0 I would. Id rather pay double somewhere else than send my pet or anyone else's here. 10/10 would NOT recommend.

Dr has not let me know about the xray on dog its been 5 days

I am very disappointed with my appt today. I made an appt for my dog’s allergy two weeks ago. Yesterday morning I received a text to confirm, but at 5pm they called me to say they have to reschedule because they were over booked for a mistake at the call center. I declined to cancel, speak with the doctor and told me that if I want to make the appt anyway they will make an extra charge and have to be there at 9. I accepted because I take my day off for that appt and my dog need attention. She has been in treatment for her allergies in this facility for 2 years. I came at 8:50am, doctor came at 9:15am. They took my dog at 9:30am and had to wait until 12:20 because they were attending my dog between every others appt. They treat my dog as a drop in and finally was charged for $15.75 for “pet day stay (half day). I let them know that this was not a drop in because my appt was already made. Anyway I had to pay the fee for their mistake. I don’t know what kind of communication they have, what kind of appt set up they have but I think this was unrespectful and they have to work better with their scheduling.

Missed obvious dental problems. No referral. Ran up a bill. Left our cat in pain. Less than honest or less than competent? They said cat's teeth were ok when next vet removes four of them making it possible for cat to survive. Thrive did not email lab results until we called and insisted. Would never recommend this place for pet lovers.

Thrive is a scheduling nightmare. Most locations are fully booked for almost a month. I set an appointment to have my cat spayed. Was told drop-off was at 7:15. Confirmation text said appt. was at 7:45. Day before I get a text saying 8:15, so I called to see which time was correct, and was told the 7:15 time. I show up day of, and am waiting in the car for 45 minutes. No one answering the phone. Nothing. Messed up my work schedule, and had to drop off my cat with a friend so they could take her. Yes, it’s affordable, and it’s nice having multiple locations available, but it’s not worth it if they keep messing up the appointments they set weeks in advance.
