Working with this doctor and the veterinary technicians to help our dog, Molly, with severe allergies has been a wonderful experience. The doctor is friendly, knowledgeable, thorough, and so kind. She and the veterinary technicians always help my anxious girl feel comfortable; in fact, Molly absolutely loves going to their office. The strategies used to help Molly have been quite effective. Her itchiness is gone and her skin is beautiful and smooth. We are so grateful that we were referred to Southwest Veterinary Dermatology.

Overall good experience. I waited almost a month for the appointment which was less than another dermatologist I called so they all stay busy. The vet had good knowledge to share and gave some pointers and direction for our girl. The wait time was a little long for us as we arrived 20 min early and was not seen until 30 min after the scheduled time so we were antsy. Also as a suggestion consider being more gentle and understanding of each pets personality. Our girl can be dramatic but I also wouldn't like being picked up by a random stranger put on a table and having my paws touched, mouth etc without giving me any time to interact. A simple interaction with the pet while distracting them would make a more comfortable experience vs a vet tech just grabbing them. Thank you.

I have multiple pets, and they come here. They are very good at what they do, even write out a Office Summary page, so you remember everything. Everyone is very friendly. Customer for life!

My sweet pup has been suffering with allergies for a while now. We love to camp and hike and she has environmental allergies. Dr. Osborn was fantastic. After examining my pup, she fully discussed options for addressing our issues to ensure we would be able to enjoy our lifestyle and keep her happy and healthy.

Everyone was extremely nice; excellent bedside manner and great communication! My puggle, Lashes Love, has a server skin disorder that we now know was caused by the steroids she's been taking after receiving radiation for her brain tumor (thanks to SW Veterinary Dermatology for diagnosing this)! I first reached out to my usual vet who told me to immediately reach out to the oncologist who treated Lashes' brain tumor to see if it was radiation burns. I sent them an email with photos to which they responded, "It's not radiation burns. We suggest you keep seeing your usual vet." No request for us to come in, not a phone call, nothing. Nothing! We went back to our usual vet when her condition worsened and they referred us here, to this magical place where people actually care and answers are given! The fact we have a diagnoses was great enough, but having a direct line to a vet tech for questions is over the top amazing! I definitely recommend bringing your baby here *Honorable mention goes to Blackhorse Animal Hospital for the referral ❤!

We brought our dog Lucky here, he was prescribed a 6 week course of Prednisone (our regular vet later told us that this was way too long of a course). At around the 5 week mark (while we were on vacation), my grandmother (who was taking care of him) said he stopped eating. This was on Sunday. On Monday evening we arrived back home to find him lethargic and refusing food, he had vomited 5 times that day - all bile. On Tuesday we attempted to call Southwest Derm FIVE TIMES and left voicemails asking what we should do. Our regular veterinarian also called multiple times to go over the treatment course in depth in order to figure out what was wrong. They never returned either of our calls. Lucky started having trouble breathing and we rushed him to an emergency vet clinic. He died in my arms after having a seizure 5 minutes away from the emergency room. The vet at the clinic and our regular vet said he suffered internal damage from the Prednisone. Lucky was only 10 years old. IF YOU VALUE YOUR PET'S LIFE DO NOT TAKE THEM HERE. Aside from irresponsibly prescribing steroids, this is not the first time they had been unresponsive to multiple calls concerning questions about his treatment. Addendum: The vet never got back to us but Lucky had an appointment scheduled for that Friday, they called on Thursday to remind us. When we informed them that he had passed they replied "Oh, ok. We're sorry." They made no reference to the other 7 voicemails left by both us and our veterinarian.

I brought my cat here to have a bump on his skin examined after being told it was “probably nothing” by his regular vet. The wonderful ladies at Southwest Animal Dermatology were so kind to my baby during his exam and I got the peace of mind I was l looking for. Will be returning here for the needs of my other pets.

Went above and beyond by all means to make sure we got excellent care. My pup is doing SO much better!

Great staff!! The dr was awesome!! So knowledgeable and diagnosed my dog's problem.

My babies are always treated with love and tenderness. Dr is conservative in addressing issues and the team is professional and conscientious of my pocketbook.

This is a place that i believe truly loves animals. Theyre all about making sure ur pet is comfortable and okay with whats going on. I love love love this place!

It was my first time there. It was very clean and roomy. The entire staff were wonderful. Friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Osborn was very thorough as well was her tech, Michelle. They were compassionate and helpful. We got my dog on a plan for to get her health on track. I would highly recommend them.

Very professional, caring and competent. My canine boy is 95% better in less than 24 hours. I trust the Doc and have full confidence in her expertise to the provide best possible specialty vet care. Staff friendly and caring too. Warms my heart to see my dog just sitting peacefully next to me without constant scratching, licking and picking. God Bless you all there at SW Vet Derm.

With covid making everything more difficult they are striving to continue provide excellent service. Keep in mind it's not always them. they are even having problems getting dog food, due to 3rd party company personel quiting.

I am so glad I found SWVD! These photos speak for themselves, my dog (American Pitbull Terrier - blue pit) has suffered years of skin problems. I have been looking for answers on how to treat his condition with all different vets and treatments and nothing worked. I felt so lost and hopeless for my pup. He was uncomfortable and in pain everyday. Finally after searching on the web I found SWVD on my feed, Summer 2019. Just a month later I noticed I got my dog back to his happy self again. Dr. Osborn and her staff are all amazing people! She explained everything about my pup's skin. I know my pup is in great hands with this team. Appointments are easy and fast, I'm getting well informed, they answer all my questions, they give you options for treatment, no pressure at all, they answer phone calls or call back, they are so friendly and sweet. Price is high, but honestly cost doesn't mean a thing when I finally got my best pal back to his normal happy self! ????

I had 2 regular vets try to treat and manage my standard poodle's hair loss, fragile skin, and allergies ineffectively for 1.5 years. I finally brought my dog to see Dr. Osborn and I wish I had brought him sooner! She diagnosed my dog with immense accuracy on her physical exam. Talk about specialization. I highly recommend taking your pet here if they have been dealing with some sort of allergy, hair loss, or skin issue. Price was reasonable to me.

Fantastic! Great people working there and they love your fur babies! I’ve got a Pomerania who has suffered with allergies his whole life and I thought I had tried every though the vet then I found southwest and BAM! It has changed everything! God bless regular vets but they don’t have a clue when it comes to allergies and properly treating them. 1 month and I have a new dog !

This Veterinary saved my female German Shepherds life. I started her off at a standard Veterinary near my home but they seemed to never be able to help calm her allergy reactions/breakouts and the process became very frustrating not only in the financial aspect but also in the health of my baby girl who seemed to be suffering. This place knew exactly how to help her and where to begin from day one of seeing her.

We take our German Shepherd, Kurama here almost monthly it seems. They’re so patient and helpful with helping us get his skin issues and food allergies under control. Fiona is absolutely amazing and I adore her, every month we pick up his medication, she always sneaks a treat in his bag. Customer service is above and beyond

Southwest Veterinary Dermatology was a lifesaver for my dogs Tucker and TJ. I went to many vets searching for the answers and only when I was referred here by one vet did Dr. Colombini and Dr. Osborn find all the answers to their skin condition and then helped to incorporate a treatment system that was both effective and affordable. And that's not even mentioning the great Hospitality I recieved from Miss Fiona at the front! Call her the dog whisperer or queen of the sweet potato treats! Oh my, her way with my dogs made them want to stay there instead of coming home with me. I personally give my full recommendation to this amazing group of people. They drastically improved the lives of my dogs and my life as well.

We took our dog Bucky to be treated for allergies Unfortunately due to my husband's health issues and distance we needed to temporarily stop. Dr. Sarah Colimbini Osborne and her staff were very professional and cordial, and the Dr. has offered to consult and advise our current veterinarian on his continuing care. We are very grateful and look forward to renewing our visits when our circumstances improve.
