The staff at Rover Oaks Houston knows my dog by name and clearly care very much for her well-being. I love that they have a boarding option for dogs to play with humans instead of dogs so even fearful or overstimulated dogs can have a great experience. She’s always so excited to run in the door and looks happy and healthy every time we pick her up!

Rover Oaks is our dog's happy place. He can tell when we're driving there, and he gets so excited! We know that he is well taken care of while he's at Rover Oaks. The people who work there are kind and obviously care about the dogs. Our dog goes to doggy day care twice per week and has stayed in boarding several times. We will continue to frequent this business and recommend it to others!

I went to visit them for a tour of the facility and explanation of packages Amber, the Reservation specialist was great. She took the time to answer all of my questions, she even answered my daughters questions who couldn’t be there, but joined the tour via FaceTime. The facility is clean and well kept and the animals appear well cared for and happy. I put down my deposit at the end of the tour to reserve my two dogs lodging for next month. I am confident I made a good decision in choosing Rover Oaks.

I am a new dog mom of a 5 month old puppy and have just started using Rover Oaks for grooming/puppy training and have been so happy with the care they take with my puppy! My puppy does tend to be very shy around strangers, so for her first grooming they made sure to take it slow with her, and only do her paws/face as to not overwhelm or traumatize her. When I picked her up my groomer was not available to answer all the questions I had, and that evening I wrote an embarrassing long email detailing all of my questions/concerns. Being a first time dog mom I will admit I'm a little over protective of my puppy. The very first thing the next morning, Megan who groomed her called me and made sure every single concern I had was explained and fully addressed. She was so kind and professional and I sincerely appreciate the effort to make sure to contact me so quickly. I have since taken her to her first puppy class at Rover Oaks, and am already extremely pleased with what they are teaching me and my puppy. Only a week in she is already learning new good behaviors. I took her in again for grooming, this time to do her full body, and my puppy was so happy to see Megan and it made me feel so good to know that she was being so well taken care of. I am looking forward to continuing to use Rover Oaks as a safe and fun place for my dog as she grows!

The Staff at Rover Oaks was kind and professional. Our fur babies were cared for well and they had a great time during their stay!

Would appreciate if you didn't let the dogs at the facility wildly bark at 6:30am and at 9pm in the yard. People in the apartments next door are trying to sleep.

Awesome customer service. They were very nice and helpful with any questions I had. Took great care of my Koda! They made me feel like my pup was in great hands while I was out of town. Very happy!

Rover Oaks is by far one of the BEST place I could have left my pet. The staff was wonderful, pleasant, and oh so caring for my pet. Thank you all so much for making me feel comfortable leaving her in your care. I most definitely would recommend Rover Oaks.

The resort seems spacious and is clean. A person can get the feeling of being nickel and dimed though when a pet is left for boarding. On top of daily boarding, if you want your pet out of their cubby to play with other dogs for an hour - fee, two hours - bigger fee, assessment before playing with other dogs - fee, treat - fee, admin fee, you get the picture.

I didn’t have a great board + train here. I was under the impression certain skills would be taught and they were not. Dog came back with fleas and they offered to fix it with more training that I did not enjoy. On the plus side, they were very responsive + the training videos were cute.

Very poor experience. We took our dog here for a two week board and train and he came back with a skin infection AND kennel cough. Mind you, he was fully vaccinated. We tried our best to be cordial and inform the facility not to blame them (as dogs can bring in any kind of bacteria vaccinated or not) but to encourage them to up their sanitizing process and we received NO communication back. VERY dissapointed in this facility and the apparent lack of care they have for their clients who pay over 1,000 to trust Rover Oaks with their family members.

I've been bringing my dogs to Rover Oaks for almost 10 years now for boarding and daycare. I can travel without worrying about my fur babies bc I know Rover Oaks staff loves them as much as I do.

Very responsive and definitely reliable. There is no doubt my old Labrador and my 2 younger Ridgebacks love it there, but also Rover Oaks personnel go the extra mile to please the parents.

I like how the pricing is reasonable, how they take the time to learn about the pet so that they can make them enjoy their experience there as well as how they are flexible with accommodations. When I picked up my dog from daycare he seemed very comfortable with staff and I was able to take back home a tired but happy dog!

Our 6.5 year old golden retriever has been attending Doggie Day Care twice a week at Rover Oaks since he was 6 months old. Early on - it was mostly to get some puppy energy out - but now it is much more than that. He wakes up on Tuesday (sometimes on Monday and we have to redirect him :-)) raring to go as he knows "today is the day" - then again on Friday - how he knows which days - I am not sure - but then we say "yes - you are going to play with your friends"... Then we cannot get him into the car fast enough. The staff and the other dogs are always welcoming and he still comes home exhausted and happy!! I totally recommend this for your dog - if they need some "away from Mom and Dad" time - or you need it - so they can just run and be a dog in a pack - back to their natural element in a safe and fun environment!

Our dog Bentley is always happy to visit or have a sleepover at Rover Oaks! His excitement says everything. The staff is wonderful, welcoming and also excited to see thier friend when he visits. The facility is clean and fun. The grooming, play, snuggles and story time with treat is a plus. I highly recommend Rover Oaks...a trusted place for your fur baby.

Wish i could give negative ratings.1 star doesn’t do justice to what the groomer did to my baby. My Bernedoodle had long wavy hair.i just wanted little trim and the groomer said she will just cut 1 inch of hair. But she removed the top coat completely and gave him a weird look. And when I wanted to speak to groomer, she was not available.. Highly disappointed with this place and surprised by other people ratings. Worst place to get your babies groomed. The bandana pic when he had long hair and the other one is my baby with just a single coat of hair.

I have been getting grooming services from Rover Oaks for well over 3 years now. My mini labradoodle gets her "mani-peti" every 5 weeks -- washing, brushing, complete cut,, trimming of ear hair and trimming of nails. The services are reliable, consistent and at the highest standards. Miss Jackson does not hesitate when it is time for another visit to Rover Oaks! Would not hesitate to recommend this group to anyone looking for high quality grooming services.

Leslie groomed my mini schnauzer. It was his first cut and I’m so happy with the results! We’ve gotten so many compliments. Also, the staff is very welcoming and friendly.

During the “Winter Storm” I was forced to stay a work (1st responder) and the piercing fire alarm would not stop going off they took little miss Winter within an hour of me calling. They were extremely flexible. An with all the challenges with electricity and water they were able to accommodate me and replied daily to my messages and sent me pictures. Truly appreciative of the staff there.

We are from out-of-town and Googled the closest pet salon to our location. We were very pleased with the wash-n-go bath Rover Oaks gave our dog, Ebony. She really shines. We will come back again.

We brought our puppy here for almost a year to socialize her and help give my other dog a break! The staff at Rover Oaks tries very hard to make sure you and your pet are getting a good experience and I really felt like they cared deeply about customer satisfaction.
