Very nice staff here, they take the time to look after your pet and treat them with love and care, I often see them walking dogs outside.

Very nice people who obviously love animals. This was our first visit but they are now our go to vet.

Dr. Hanson has cared for Ms Pixie, a senior rescue dog who didn't have much time left with such love. The entire care team have made sure Pixies latter days have been better than the beginning.

We have been taking our dog to Richmond Avenue Animal Hospital for over 10 years. They have always done a great job and are now offering curbside services where they come and get your pet from the car, take it in for the exam and consult with you at the car ie by phone while you wait. I love sitting and listening to music or catching up on work while my pup gets his checkup.

Love Doctor Hansen, she is always so sweet and attentive to our cats. Both of my cats get nervous in their pet carriers and meow constantly, but the vet techs are very understanding and do their best to make them feel comfortable. Best Vet clinic I have ever used!

????⭐⭐????⭐???? Worthy of six stars. Professionalism with a genuine friendly approach. They cared for Bella ???? like I would myself. I really appreciated the service that I received from everyone. It was curbside service and consultation over the telephone. Dr. Hellen Hansen is the best.Bella ???? is already feeling better.

Do not waste your time going here. I tried this for the first time yesterday since my regular vet is so far and I wish I would have driven the extra 30 minutes to my dogs regular vet clinic, which is Oak Forest Veterinary Hospital. The doctor was not very informative and did not ask very many questions. Being my first time and me switching vets you would think they would try to wow me, they did not. They did a horrible job cleaning my dogs ears, and that is a super easy job to do. At Oak Forest you can tell they truly care about your animals well being and at Richmond Veterinary you can tell they are just concerned about getting paid. The front reception also was not even very nice or at-tentative at Richmond and at Oak Forest you are immediately greeted with a smile. I never ever write reviews, but felt like I had to because I do not want someone wasting their time or money at this place like I did. If you live in the heights area or do not care to drive 30+ minutes to an amazing vet clinic, try out Oak Forest Veterinary clinic, they're by far the best and worth every penny.

My dog is boarded a few times a year, due to traveling. The past two stays at RAAH boarding, upon pickup he was in dire need to relieve himself. He even had an accident in the car, which has never occurred. My pet is actually a "marker", so when staff justified his behavior by "excited and they can't make him relieve himself" I call total BS. It's sad that I've trusted my pet here for the past five years... we won't be back. Our family friend actually picked him up the last stay, and she was horrified at his urgency to relieve himself. This made TWO times that his has occurred, never at other boarding facilities. Thankfully there are many great vets in Houston!

The staff and doctor went above and beyond for me when I showed up at the wrong time and ruined their Holiday party with my grouchy, ill dog. They stopped the party to help and treated me and my dog so kind. I am so grateful and want everyone to know how great this place is. I’d also like to note that their Covid protocol is safe, convenient and efficient. No hassle, and I felt very safe.

My Yorkie Max and I have been with the Richmond Avenue Animal Hospital for 10 years. Max is more than a dog to me, Max is my child. Dr. Wilkie and her Team at Richmond Avenue Animal Hospital have become my family. David, Mary, Patty, Dr. Hanson, DR. “P’, and the Radiologist Doc saved my dogs life. Max came down with a real bad case of high liver/ pancreas enzymes. I thought Max was a goner… Dr. Wilkie referred me to Houston’s finest emergency veterinarian hospital to care for Max immediately. I could not imagine anyone more qualified than the group of individual’s or veterinarian team to care for my very sick Max, other than Dr. Wilkie and her Team of professionals. After 10 years, I felt the “RAAH Team” knows Max and I both and our personalities better than anyone. Dr. Wilkie has been in practice since the late 90’s and she was in tears with me on the phone. Dr. Wilkie’s emotions seemed to me, as if Max was her own dog. Who would have known that someone after decades of experience would have great passion for a dog’s life and wellbeing. Together we all came up with an inpatient and outpatient treatment plan for Max. This included IV fluids three times a day, with three different antibiotic shots. I could not imagine leaving Max’s side as sick as he was, so Richmond Avenue Animal Hospital’s Team came to Max. Every day, for 10 days, three times a day the RAAH Team was at my house caring for my Max. Today Max’s ultrasound is showing improvement and he is responding well to our medical plan for Max. I’m extremely overwhelmed with happiness that Max is doing better. I started thinking, one (1) human year for Max equals seven (7) years for him. If we are lucky Max might have 14 dogs years left, two human years. Our human days are dog weeks. I believe Richmond Avenue Animal Hospital has helped save Max in his senior years. Giving me just a little more time, against borrowed time. Words cannot describe how lucky and thankful I am to have found such exceptional care, compassionate people. Even being very understanding about my panic attacks and being there for me personally. They are also very kind to my dog which I really appreciate it, and love them all like my family. Thank you all for helping me extend Max’s life. Even if it is in dogs weeks. Love Max & Tina XXOO

I can't think of anyway to make service better. The wait time is usually less than 10 minutes, if at all. Everyone is extremely pleasant, and I trust them completely when it comes to the medical needs of my dog, Desi.. They treat her like a Queen!

We take all of our rescues here, as well as our own dogs. love the staff, and all the doctors. We don't use anywhere else around Houston. Probably the 8th clinic we went to before deciding they were for us. We are very picky, so take it from us, these guys are the dream team! Shout out to Dr. P!

The staff is so friendly and accommodating. A few of the techs went above and beyond and helped me jumpstart my car! I’ve been taking my dog here for about 7 years.
