Dr. Cagle and all the staff are incredible. I brought my dog Ryder in to be seen and Dr. Cagle immediately made me feel comfortable and took the time to listen to my concerns and answer all my questions. I can tell Dr. Cagle and the team really care about their patients. I would definitely recommend.

We moved from the suburbs to the city... Sam was extremely comfortable with the staff & they did a great job as to explaining everything regarding her check up, prescriptions & follow-up. Thank you...!

I started going to this vet after relocating to Houston and seeing them while driving down the street. I looked them up online and saw the positive reviews. I really like this Vet. Dr. Cagle is wonderful! The vet tech’s are great as well. I recently found a stray. I brought her here to get checked for a microchip and receive an examination. They were able to fit me in despite a last minute appointment. I truly appreciate it as my sweet girl was in bad condition but Dr. Cagle has helped tremendously. I will continue to bring my babies here even after we move. I deducted one star for The lady at the front desk. I could do without having to interact with her. And their weekend hours aren’t convenient. Closing at Noon on Saturday and closed on Sunday.

Only good experiences so far :-) Today I called to see if they could take my sick cat in any time soon since I noticed they were booked up online. They offered to board her until the doctor could see her in between scheduled appointments/surgeries tomorrow. With my cat being mostly an outside cat and rarely willing to spend the whole night inside my house, I was a bit too weary to do this- knowing she’s just a very particular cat and I wouldn’t want to upset her or make her health any worse by the stress that being in her crate for long might cause. Still, I GREATLY appreciate the offer- enough to write this review. If she were an indoor cat or even just more willing to stay indoors I would have taken them up on their offer. Also, the couple of wellness exams with them have been great as well they’re very receptive to any concerns and questions I’ve had and the curbside pickup during covid is nice! Thank you!!

I think I've found my new vet! My kitty was experiencing a ton of mucous and wheezing, coughing, sneezing, and needed to see a vet pretty badly, but all of the well rated vets in the area were booked for at least a month or two. I saw this vet via Google Maps, and saw it looked relatively new. Dr. Cagle was very thorough in asking about his background and not up-selling me on treatments or screenings that aren't quite needed yet (as other vets have tried to do prematurely.) He also sounded genuinely concerned for my kitty's treatment and well being. The treatment has gone perfectly so far, and he's feeling much better already. If it's something more chronic I'll trust Dr. Cagle's recommendation on a longer term plan. He even followed up via text to see how he was doing. Prices aren't the absolute cheapest, but are very reasonable for the area compared to nearby clinics. If you live in the area, you're not going to save a ton by going out of the loop in search of affordable care like myself and others tend to do.

Dr. Cagle is amazing. He really cares about the animals and has ways to text the office to get questions answered or schedule appointments.

Quite convenient on Saturday afternoon. I took the dog down there and they had covid protocol so I had to wait outside while they took the dog in I thought they were a little expensive but I'm frugal. Very friendly

I'm a first-time dog owner and this is the first time I've used a vet. I tried The Urban Vet initially because of the area and a quick glance at the reviews showed that it was highly rated. I adopted a rescue and she ended up testing positive for heartworm. The vet was very patient with all my questions and explained to me the treatment options with a cost breakdown for each. After the conversation, the receptionist had printed out a couple packets that gave me more details about what heartworm is, what to expect with treatment and what symptoms to look for in my dog. I have had two regular check-ups, and if the appointment is near a holiday, they may surprise you with a cute pic of your dog with a holiday-themed bandana and backdrop. They are very honest about what each thing costs and which things are required, optional but highly recommended, or just plain optional. One time, for a last minute trip out of town, I needed to get a couple vaccines for my dog (required by the doggy daycare I was going to leave me dog at). Luckily, The Urban Vet was able to fit us in and it only took about 5 minutes to get my dog the vaccines she needed. I like their website and it is easy for me to access information about all past appointments on my account as well as schedule new appointments or check to see what things are coming up like another shot or check-up.

I have had such great care with dr Cagle, He diagnosed my pup with an autoimmune disorder quickly and was able to control it. I am lucky i found him and he saved my pup's life. He has had many years of ER experience that I think makes him stand out from other vet clinics in his range of knowledge and practice. I know my pups are in good hands with him.

My dog and I have had so many bad vet experiences, I was prepared for the worst but I was so pleasantly surprised by the efficiency and personal attention I got, even having to stay in my car! Dr. Cagle is so knowledgeable and thorough and doesn’t push unnecessary tests. They also respond to texts! No matter where I move in Houston, we are clients forever!

Very nice staff and can always fit us in. We brought our cat in the afternoon of New Year's Eve and we really appreciate them for taking us on such short notice and a holiday. Really above and beyond service.

We bring our puppy, Bolt, to Dr. Cagle for all his vet needs, and he and his staff are all fantastic. The Urban Vet was able to get Bolt in for an appointment last minute when he was not feeling well last week, and he started feeling better the same day. I highly recommend this vet, as they are very friendly, professional, and attentive and our dog loves going here. I love that they text to check on Bolt after each visit which is unexpected but appreciated!

Amazing Vet! Cares deeply about his patients, and charges fairly. Scheduling was a breeze.

We took our dog here for the first time after he got in a fight with another dog. They could see him on the same day we called, and were quick and professional. We had to stay in the car due to COVID, but unlike our previous place, the vet actually came out and talked to us about the dog, how to treat him, etc. I like that we could actually talk to him, and moving forward will probably bring my cat here as well.

Dr Cagle and his staff have always been so excellent to my three dogs. They are always a quick text away if I have any issues or questions or if I need to set up an appointment. They are incredibly knowledgeable and personable. They never try to sell me anything I dont need. They are very reasonably priced, especially for being a small locally owned business. Anyone would be lucky to put the care of their pets in the hands of Dr Cagle and his staff.

Having been to many vets throughout the years, I can say Dr. Cagel is the best vet. He has a friendly, professional practice and he takes the time to get to know your pet. My cat was so calm and relaxed at her yearly physical and this was all due to Dr. Cagel’s patience and genuine love of animals. I have recommended his practice to many of my friends.

Dr. Cagle and his staff are very polite, professional, and honest with me about the services and care they have given to my pet. My first interaction with Dr. Cagle was when I had to bring my kitten in to his office 30 minutes before he closed due to an out-of-the-blue eye condition. His staff took my kitten in, assessed her, treated her, and she was back in her carrier with me within 20 minutes. Dr. Cagle came out to explain who he was, how my kitten was doing, and what follow up care I would need to complete once she got home. I highly recommend Dr. Cagle and his staff! ????????❤

Urban vet has been incredibly helpful in raising my new pup. I love that I can text them to schedule appointments or with any questions! My dachshund seems to love visiting the vet team there and gets great care.

It's always hard to find someplace that will see hedgehogs. BUT! My little guy's new vet used to have a hedgehog. Although my hedgie was being his usual jerky self, he didn't seem to mind things too much. Both the vet a staff there were super nice and great. I will be definitely be going back when my ouch mouse needs anything. ✌????????

Everyone here is absolutely amazing and so kind to my dogs. They love my chihuahuas and they love them back. The vet is not a terror of a trip because of Dr. Eric. I've never been to a clinic so trusting AND affordable. Note, I found the pups take vaccines better when there is a puppuccino involved!

Very good place! The staff is very pleasant and out puppy didn't mind going in at any time. Puppy's opinion: "bark bark! Woof ... Wooof.. bark bark!"
