I live in the Heights area but drive to 30 mins out to this location! The staff are AMAZING! My dog stayed there over July 4th and they blew up mattresses and slept in the suites with the dogs to make sure none of them were too scared of the fireworks! They also gave my dog a fantastic grooming! She's a shedder and I could tell the groomer spent a very long time brushing her out because not one hair has floated off since I got her! They also post tons of pictures and videos everyday on Facebook and Instagram so you can always see how your pet is doing!! Everything about this place is top notch!

Friendly staff. Trustworthy with my dog. Excellent variety of accommodation, small to large dogs. Only wish they reinstate their pet cam where you can see your pet via online.

I called to inquire about their rates and services. Of course I was asking a lot of questions cuz I want to be sure my doggy is well taken care of. The lady that answered passed me over to the manager who asked me questions regarding my dog. As soon as I told her my baby is a husky the manager said my dog is too hyper and needs a lot of attention, so their place of business is not a good fit for my dog. Fine! I found a place that's WAY better!!

Would be great to have on the website that the pet has to be spayed, hard to believe .very female dog that comes to the company is. 5/24 after a misunderstanding about boarding Preppy Pets did reach out to me about boarding my fur baby and I must say I am pleased with the ending results I was able to go out of town an feel my baby was in perfect hands. The prices were great and the staff is really sweet and i feel they genuinely cared about my baby. Thank you all for the great service I will be bringing her back.

We use Preppy Pet for our 65lb pit bull and they do awesome with her. She is happy and doesn't smell like dog when we pick her up. The staff is typically friendly and although we don't need to use Preppy Pet often they recognize her everytime. In fact, one of the staff recognized me and asked how our dog was in another local store.

We love Preppy Pet!! We’ve left our fur babies here for both boarding and day care. The staff is caring and responsible. Leaving our babies there takes any worry away from our travels. We highly recommend!

I did extensive research of boarding/day care services before choosing this one. It's paid off. Great staff, very clean, Roxanne does a great job running the place. It's clear that they take special interest that pets are cared for, are safe, and play with other dogs that meet there personality traits *cough Sadie cough* . I plan on using them for the foreseeable future.

Went to put in a application and she said the "manager was not there" and will be back by next week. When she gets back she will be giving me a call during that week for a Open Interview. Never call me, and didn't even look like they would have even giving me the time and day. Very unprofessional.

Awesome pet care facility!!! I was nervous to leave my dogs in boarding for the first time but this place was so great to them. They provided daily updates on their facebook pages with pictures and videos so I could check on how they were doing while I was away. I could tell they really got to my dogs personalities and habits. Our puppy LOVED daycare and had an absolute blast. I plan on taking him back again for more socialization. My older dogs opted for their "teachers pet" program to stay in the main office since they weren't interested in playtime but still wanted hands on attention. We will definitely be back.

Preppy Pet NW Houston is a great place to board your dogs. I worked there and the staff does a great job taking care of the dogs. They go above and beyond what their expected to make sure the dogs, cats are comfortable. The daycare is fun and the dogs love it. The bathers do an amazing job bathing the dogs. They even take pictures of some of the dogs while their getting bathed. The groomer does an excellent job grooming. I recommend boarding your animals here because all the employees are caring, and professional. Great Place.

Ryder absolutely loves staying here. Every time he comes home he is happy and well behaved due to all the exercise and attention he gets. That speaks for itself. Highly recommend!

My pup loves preppy pet. He gets so excited when I tell him he's going.

This was our first time using Preppy Pet and will most likely be our last. We left our cat with them for 10 days. My reservation was to include private playtime. Upon returning to pick up Bella, we were told she was not given private playtime because she “hissed” at people. Bella is a very friendly cat. We have never witnessed her hissing at anyone even at other boarding facilities. If the cat is uncomfortable day 1, I understand but why not not on day 2 or day 3. No one called us to alert us to their concerns and their inability to provide the services requested. The report card provided us at checkout stated “Once Bella got comfortable she is so sweet!”. Her behavior was marked, “Happy” and “Friendly” Boarding is very stressful for any animal. We trusted Preppy Pet to provide our cat some private time we thought would help her during this stressful time, and sadly for Bella, she did not get it.

My dog loved it and shes super shy and anxious most of the time. Was really nice picking her up and having her be OK.
