I have lived in many cities and had many pets so having a vet in my life is not new. WHVC is one of the best. I trust them and while thorough they are conservative in their approach - unlike other vets (with 3 initials) that do every test they can to run up the bill. They always go the extra yard . They are terrific in all aspects

I love Dr Hipke and the entire crew at Washington Heights!! They provide the best possible care for your babies of all sizes. Very responsive and truly the best at what they do!!

I have had 4 encounters with this clinic and every single one has been a poor experience. I started a journey to have my dogs teeth cleaned. I knew it was going to take a few visits and be an expensive process, but this is ridiculous. One they wouldn't do labs on him during the first visit because they want him sedated, I understood that portion,. The fees for the dental were printed out on a paper and the biggest fee was in a lighter ink than every other fee. This made it seem like it wasn't an actually fee and something that would be added to the bill if needed, so I was shocked when I had to pay over 800$, thinking it was $400. Lastly, I have paid every single bill they have handed me and now I'm getting emails saying I haven't paid and I need to pay asap. I have all my records of invoices and currently am working on this with them. I don't recommend this vet. It seems to me they care more about money than their clients and community

I’ve been bringing my dog here for the past 5 years and I’ve always been pleased with the service of the all of the staff. Recently, I’ve been blown away with the amount of support from this staff in during a tough situation. When dog got a really sick with a pretty unpredictable illness, the staff went above and beyond to help coordinate with me, communicate expectations and work the the hospital my dog had been at. I’m really grateful for how above-and-beyond this team went to check-in and take care of my dog. It makes me feel like I’m really in great hands with this entire staff with my dogs complete care. Thank you for treating our dog like he was your own!

I've had nothing but positive experiences bringing my dog here for several years, but what prompted me to write this review is the amazing care we've gotten in the last few weeks. My dog has been having issues that are not emergencies but have been difficult to manage. I've been able to drop off my dog for same-day appointments, received follow up phone calls to see how he's doing, adjusted medication and sent photos via email, and all during the busy holiday season. It gives me such peace of mind to know that we go to such an organized, responsive and friendly vet clinic. Highly, highly recommend.

My husband is a client of this vet clinic. Unfortunately we always have to bring our dog for the same issues again and again, which were never treated. One if them was skin irritation, which we were dealing with for years, bying all kind of creams, shampoos and other stuff.

Love Dr. Case here and all the staff. Very comforting to know my pups are being well cared for at a great place!

I had to wait a little longer than I expected in order for my dog to be seen by a veterinarian although I was on time for my dog to be seen.

Love and trust WHVC with our two girls and recommend them to anyone who asks. Every doctor and staff member I’ve encountered takes the time to really listen and care for the animals

We've been using this vet for years now and they've been amazing! My husband found them from the great reviews online. I had been going all the way to The Woodlands to the vet I had used for years previously. That drive became too much for the kitties though. I was reluctant to switch, like when you find the right doctor for yourself, you make the drive if you have to. But I'm so happy we did switch. They are all so great hear and really care about your fur baby.

Dr. Garrou was awesome! along with the rest of the staff. The Dr called me and went into great detail about my pet and was so friendly! no one here is pushy about what you should do for you animals. they were also very quick!

Vet and staff are extremely nice, professional and provide exceptional care to pets and animals. Very great with calling back to provide updates given it is no contact visitation. This is more feedback than criticism. With covid and everything going on, i feel they have been pretty amazing with providing no contact visitation. However, it is Often hard to get appt scheduled due to unavailability and heavily reliant on walk ins. Please consider increasing time slots for appts. and please try to decrease time on the phone. On average 5-10 min wait on the phone (understandably, but still). Otherwise, very happy with the care provided to my pet.

Can be hard to get things done via phone/email as they are a busy clinic. However, I’ve brought all of my adopted pups to this clinic. Great staff, vets included!

I was put on hold every single time I would call and for an average of 15 minutes each time. They were the first and only vet I used for my dog while I lived in Houston. I noticed my dog would get very agitated when he had to go to the vet. I thought it was normal since it was the vet. However, I just found out from my new vet (I moved to a new state) that these people would muzzle my dog during exams. I was never informed of this. Maybe I would be less angry had they told me. But the fact that they didn’t, and my dog has never bit anyone ever. This latest news is the reason these people get 1 star.

They always take such wonderful care of our animals, and the staff are awesome. The follow up is great, and every experience I have there is always positive!! My dogs love going to see everyone!!

I have only ever had the best experiences here. Moving back to Texas after 3 years and nothing about that has changed. They got us all up to date (and caught both of my dogs when I moronically lost control of them and they got loose).

Wonderful experience! Everyone there was super nice and caring to my dog. Dr. McAdoo took the time to explain all the possibilities and options, as well as the cost. I'm really impressed!

I have a 2 year old Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever. This is my 2nd Toller, and I have taken her to several places that were OK but not great. Maggie May was having a severe itching problem. Dr. Case was able to see her a couple of days later and my Toller is not scratching at all. I am so happy to have finally found a home at this wonderful, caring clinic! DrJMay

The staff is always nice and friendly .My furry baby is always happy when he comes out of the docotor and thats a plus for me. Doctors are always so friendly also and always give you a feedback on the puppy.Oso Loves yall :)

We feel at ease leaving our fur babe at WHVC for her visits. We get incredibly quick responses and all concerns are addressed and answered promptly. I do most certainly recommend them.

EVERYONE was lovely! They had fantastic C19 protocol, a fantastic new client welcome package, and my pup seemed to LOVE everyone the especially his new veterinarian!

The veterinarians and staff are excellent and have given consistently great care to our pets. Easy to book and secure an appointment, the staff will also work to get you in if there is an emergency. Love being part of the WHVC family. Highly recommend!

My dogs have been going here for a few years. I took our little dog in who was sick last week. They ran every test and said nothing was wrong - maybe a little dehydrated. He continued to worsen when he got home. Now they are too busy to see him and we have to go to an emergency clinic. I would not recommend this veterinary clinic at all.

I have been going to Washington Heights for a long time and have always felt that the veterinarians go above and beyond to help and care for our animals. I currently see Dr. Kosich but all of the vets are amazing and would highly recommend them.

Dr. Lynda Case is an amazing vet. We have been using her for our dogs for over 10 years and she is always caring and knowledgeable. We have used other vets in the clinic also and they are all wonderful. I would trust them with my fur-babies anytime.
