I was uneasy at first because the first person I spoke to seemed a bit rude. But they took great care of my 14 year old baby. They are an amazing bunch of people. The vet was very helpful and great with my old man. I'll definitely bring my other pups here.

Ellie had an 8 AM appointment on a Saturday morning, needless to say we were all very sleepy and slow moving. Your team made our visit an incredible experience from the moment we stepped through the door. Everyone had such positive energy, it was beautiful. My 15 y/o son, the real master of Ellie, is usually nervous about vet visits because that is his princess. However, the technician put his worries at ease and we both sat back relieved knowing our little girl was in good hands.

What a great and outstanding staff and clinic. I had to rush my dog in after she broke a tooth while playing. Vet techs and receptionist were courteous and friendly. The vet got my baby all stiched up and now she's good as new a few weeks later ( minus a tooth) If I didn't live on the other side of town, this would be the clinic I would ALWAYS take my dogs to. Would recommend to friend or family. Great work by Tc Jester Vet Clinic !

It was very nice & organized

The staff and dr was extreme nice and accommodating. Our normal vet couldn’t see us for a week even though our fur baby was sick. They for us in the same day and treated us excellent. I think we found a new vet.

Can’t think of even ONE single thing they could improve upon!!! I was blown away. So grateful for the appt (new pt on Sat), time spent, compassion for a very anxious mom AND staying after hours for us…it all meant the world to me. Dr. Lem was fantastic, caring, thorough, knowledgeable. May the blessings I rec’d be returned to everyone - 100 times over!!

This vet is so great. We came in with a possibly emergency for our cat. She was given fluids a bit prematurely while we were worried and waiting for poison control. Luckily we found out the toxins were not consumed. The vet and her staff were super professional and understanding as they helped me and my partner through an emotional and financial roller coaster. They worked very quickly to get us the needed help and I recommend anyone with an emergency to go here. Great service all around.

I’m not a regular client here, but I was pet-sitting, and I suspected a broken bone in the pup I’m keeping. I tried several area vets who couldnt fit us in, but Dr. Lem and her staff literally dropped their lunch and team meeting to immediately see us. Thorough and compassionate care, and they treated me (in hysterics) with such respect and professionalism. Switching to Dr. Lem for my pets. I couldn’t be more impressed.

Thank you so much for taking care of my injured cat! I’m a new patient, after calling multiple offices, I was able to schedule at Jester. From beginning to end, the service was great! Even if you’re not allowed in the office, I know my cat was taken care of. I would definitely come here instead of my previous vet.

I was frustrated with my previous vet since they were always booked and it was hard to get an appointment less than 3-4 days out. I had received a mailer for this location and thought we could try it since it was convenient. I wasn't able to go in since they were doing curb service but the exterior of the building was very run down. Things seemed unorganized with their staff and then the bill was much higher than I ever expected. I should add that they pushed for every test and every med & suplement to raise the bill. I picked up my dog and they were going to give me worm medicine- she doesn't have worms! When I pointed that out they then said I should have her tested for worms even though she had no symptoms (and has her monthly heartworm topical which addresses other worms too) . While I want to provide good care for my dog, I'm on a tight budget and can't afford to have excess services done without reason. I guess we'll keep looking for another vet, too bad because she was very thorough in her explanations but it doesn't matter if we can't afford it.

I’m very pleased with this clinic. My pet was in critical condition and my own vet wouldn’t even take him in. I had just gotten out of work and most places are closed around that time, I caught them just before closing and they took him in. I thought my last resort was going to be to take him into an ER but they took him in. They truly do care about the animals. The pricing is normal which was out of my range, but we were able to take care of it. I’m just so thankful they took him in and helped him.

They took excellent care of my pup during her yearly check-up. I recommend bringing your fur babies in. Everyone was so kind and professional. Thank you Dr. Lem for taking such great care of my baby.

Our cat Gabriel was very ill. I was concerned we were going to lose him soon. After spending several days at the clinic and with Dr. Lem's expertise Gabriel is doing much better! They figured out what was wrong (triaditis) and with a lot of TLC he should make a full recovery. Staff members were very caring and made sure to give Gabriel special attention while he stayed at the clinic. He is a very sensitive cat and this was a stressful situation to stay away from home, but when we picked him up he was much more energetic and happy than when we dropped him off. He had been brought back from the jaws of death! I had a few issues come up after discharge and got quick responses from Dr. Lem on how to care for him. Thank you Jester Plaza Vet Clinic!

These people are trying to take your money, they don’t care about your pet. They claimed my dog was dying and quoted me 2,000 to treat her. I got a second opinion and it turns out my dog had an acid reflux problem in her stomach that can be solved with human otc meds. She’s fine now, but I’ll never take her to this vet again. I always had a feeling this was happening but this incident made it abundantly clear.

I love this place so much! It feels like home ❤️

On January 30, 2021 Me and my cat went to bed as usual. She slept on the pillow next to me. In the morning, I could see that Kit, was having some trouble. She was having trouble breathing, slouched over, stomach untouchable !! My cat was Dying before my eyes !! W.T.F - Happened to my cat in one night. I contacted my regular V.E.T. and they were booked. Could not see me. Thanks Cat Doctor-- Montrose/Westheimer Blvd.--F/U I called Jester Plaza V.H- Immediately !!!!! THEY SAID BRING HER IN !!! They ran tests, they told me what was wrong (liver problems) jaundice, elevated,,,,, urine problems. They kept her for a day of observation, giving her antibiotics. Her fever went down from 106 to 102. To save me money, they let me take her home that night. Next morning, my cat was still not WELL,, Back to J.P.V.C--Updated tests !!! Yeah !! in know !!! More Money !!! But, they adjusted her treatment and saved my CATS life. She is sitting here now, Happy Kitty , The staff at Jester Plaza Vet.Clinic, will not give you false promises. UPDATE: I have been threatened again with a libel suit and Jester Plaza has forwarded me a piece of paper with my partner’s signature that they claim is consent to the spay procedure. I left my review a while back, but was threatened by Jester Plaza Vet Clinic with a defamation lawsuit if I didn’t take it down. After thinking about it for months, though, I feel like I need to share my experience. I brought my healthy 5-year old pup in for a routine dental cleaning. We came in the day before her scheduled cleaning for pre-anesthetic bloodwork, and the staff was helpful and answered all my questions. My partner dropped her off the next morning for the procedure, and I got a call from the vet saying Ava (my dog) had already been spayed. I said I know, she was spayed as a puppy and she’s there for a dental cleaning. There was a long pause, and I asked if they had my dog open on the table, and they did. They opened my dog over her other (very evident) spay scar, without my consent, because someone messed up the paperwork. What’s worse, they then tried to blame it on me, and then on my partner, for signing the wrong paperwork. When I asked if I could see a copy of where we signed for a spay, they refused to show me (because neither of us signed for a spay). Over the weeks, they refused to send any evidence that we ever indicated we approved of that procedure, and continued to try to blame it on us, even though I have a voice recording of the owner admitting it was because someone messed up her chart. When I shared this story initially, they contacted me and threatened me with a defamation lawsuit, and tried to scare me out of taking any legal action. They do not care about you or your beloved pets. They only care about money and decorum. Please, please do not take your pets here. It is dangerous. It took my baby girl weeks to heal, and she’s still at a much lower weight than she was before.

I have had a wonderful experience with Jester Plaza Vet Clinic, even though my cat was seriously ill and had to be hospitalized. Dr. Lem and the clinic were so helpful in getting us through a tough time.

They have good veterinarians there I have a great staff also this is why I like this place

Highly recommend Jester Plaza Veterinary Clinic. Their vet tech team is responsive and professional and takes care to get all questions answered. Dr. Lem has been wonderful and thorough with the care of our puppy. I feel confident and knowledgeable of the treatment and health goals and appreciate the time each staff member takes to clearly and thoughtfully communicate.

I brought my pet in for an emergency visit for a painful ear infection. They were so patient and the vet and assistant were extremely informative and caring. Definitely 5 stars. ????

When we had to say goodbye to our fuzzy family member they were amazing. Very compassionate and gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye.

Dr. Lem clearly cares about dogs. She’s always so thoughtful and compassionate and willing to listen and discuss any thoughts or worries I have as a first time dog owner. Even better than Dr. Lem is vet tech Tatiana, whom my dog loves and trusts almost more than me ❤️

Unfortunately my dog got bit by another dog and they were able to fit her in immediately for treatment. I cant thank them enough for helping us out in that time of need. The vet and techs were amazing with my girl the entire time.

Dr.Lem removed a large lump from my dogs shoulder. The surgery site looks wonderful. She's very thorough in explaining procedure, possible test results, medication, and after care. If she was a human doctor - I would go to her.

I brought my cat on Saturday, since her primary veterinarian closed early on Saturdays. They took good care of my cat, and the staff is very friendly and caring.
