AVOID THIS VET AT ALL COSTS. We have been regular customers at the Montrose Vet Clinic for over a year. Called and asked for an emergency vet slot - we had found a tumor on our dog. The front desk lady BRANDY, stated that, "no we are all full until past the holidays" to which I answered, "okay thank you." She responded "thank you" and hung up the phone without giving any emergency vet/alternative So disappointed and taken aback with the rude tone and lack of care from the staff. How unprofessional to not show any empathy or share a recommendation. They did not ask if he was in any pain, if he was bleeding, etc., or offer to put us on a waitlist. Disgusting. We will be going elsewhere from now on, and hopefully to a place that actually cares for animals! ❤️

location is great for me. The office is spacious and clean. They got my cali back to a room super fast. The vet was so sweet and kind, gentle, and very knowledgeable. She took her time to answer my questions and small concerns I had for my little fur baby. The assistant was so sweet too, and fun to talk with! We'll definitely be back for any cat concerns in the future.

I took my dog for the first time last week, and we had a great experience. My pup is super anxious and she did not like being on the table. So both the vet and the tech got on the floor with my dog for her exam. I loved that they met her where she was most comfortable. We got her two shots and some anxiety meds along with her 6 months of preventative medicine, and a full exam all for $300. Loved the photos on the wall too! Bonus pic of pup. ????

Great experience! Was easy to book an appointment without a long wait. They were extremely patient even though my dog can be a bit difficult. Checked back in on him a few days later as a courtesy — even though we had agreed his check in would be in 2 weeks. It’s nice to know your pet is not just a number.

The staff are so caring and I am specifically grateful for Dr. Kennedy making my nine year-old feline companion well even though she is feisty at times.

Very friendly and accommodating. Understand how different animals can be. We have an incontinent cat, they understood how we explained her history. Love going to their clinic. Very helpful and understand how the flying process works for having in cabin pets.

My rescue shar pei is 15/16 yr.’s old and has been a Montrose Vet Pet from day one. I’d say they’re doing something right…

I've been with this clinic with all my cats minus when I was out of state. They are clean, careful, thorough, and passionate. The priced may be high, but I believe it's worth it due to their quality of care and my trust in them.

Montrose Veterinary Clinic is where I have been taking my dogs forever. Almost. I took my animals to different clinics prior to Montrose Vet, but the others didn't even come close in terms of quality of care, thoroughness, compassion, professionalism and the sheer kindness of their staff...and here's a big one for me---cleanliness. I also want to mention that, while I think she's only been at MVC for maybe two years (don't quote me on that), Dr. Meredith Perry is truly a standout veterinarian. Her commitment to her clients (both four-legged and two-legged) becomes apparent with the first visit. She is super conscientious; Dr. Perry is great about follow-up after an appointment or procedure. Not that their other veterinarians aren't terrific, too, because they are. Anyway, to sum up, I wouldn't take my Standard Poodle or Lab mix anywhere else.

I love Dr. Perry and the entire staff! They are extremely professional but also kind and compassionate. They took care of all my pets for years and made me feel like part of the family. I have moved away from Houston and I know that I will miss them terribly.

Dr. Perry is great, and so is the rest of the staff. I've taken my dog here for years, and I've always been impressed with the care and love they give my pup. Especially as he ages (as a dachshund that's had back issues before), Dr. Perry has been great about explaining concerns and what to keep an eye on.

My kitty Gilda needed semi-emergency surgery, and our regular vet unfortunately does not have a surgeon on staff. Montrose Veterinary Clinic was able to get her in within a couple of days, and did an excellent job with the surgery. The staff and doctors are all very kind and thoughtful - it is very clear that they truly care about their patients. Thanks especially to Dr. Adams and Dr. Kennedy, y'all were (literally) lifesavers!

Best veterinarian's in Houston. Very knowledgeable and reputable. My wheaten scottie had skin allergies and she is all better thanks to Dr. Veronica Adams. She takes the time to answer questions and concerns. I totally trust this veterinarian clinic. The receptionist, Brandy is so sweet.

The entire staff is professional, courteous and knowledgeable. When a Vet says they treat your pets like their own "Montrose" exemplifies this. We trust 5 fur babies to them and recommend them to everyone. Cannot say enough good things. Dr. Perry is amazing.

They were really nice and able to get me an appointment day of and they were fair on pricing.

This was the first time time we took our puppy to see a true veterinarian, we usually would take her to Banfield, and I knew it was time to get her own veterinarian. I called early one morning and immediately was given an appointment. We got there and the staff was so friendly and very caring, she listened to our thoughts and took Ninya into the office, a little bit later the Doctor came out and told us her thoughts about Ninya’s health and we went come there. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone who want the best of care for their fur baby. Thank you to the staff and the Doctor.

Expensive.. But they always have available appointments when my regular, more affordable Vet doesnt have anything last minute. The few times I been were all different experiences. I was offered choices as to what I could afford then other times I was just charged without knowing how much.. in that instance I was surprised that an office visit & to do a checkup were over $100. It's nice that they do follow up with a phone call since I havent had other Vets do this. I also like that they are within 5 minute drive to where I live which explains probably the over the top pricing.

They have taken care of my pets for years

I took my cat in to get checked for some lumps on her neck and they were able to get her in on the same day I called. Every other vet told me it was a 3 week wait. I thought the staff and vet were great. I will take my animals there in the future.

Brought in my dog Stella for a follow up and X-rays after her tumor removal in August and everyone at this clinic was so nice and thorough! They made me feel like they truly cared about Stella and explained everything to me in detail and were extremely kind. Will definitely be back for both of my dogs’ routine check ups! :)

Outstanding response to an urgent situation. I am grateful to the Doctors and staff for evaluating and treating a complex clinical presentation with such care and thoroughness.

Everyone here is so helpful and reassuring!!! Dr. Adams is a wonderful and brilliant surgeon and Amanda was so thorough at explaining the process and describing the aftercare that my pet needed as well as making me feel comfortable about the entire procedure. I highly recommend this clinic!!!
