Hot Dog Grooming Houston, Texas

Have taken our dogs here for about a year now. Our last visit we were informed that the price for the same services has gone up by $35 from $110 to $145 with absolutely no explanation. Will not be bringing our pets back to this business for them to scam more money from us as returning customers. They were informed of the bread and the dogs weight. We were informed of price increases when we showed up to drop the dogs off for service. There were no explanations given of why the were increased. The front desk personnel simply laughed and said “it’s just a slight increase”. The owner seems to lack integrity or truthfulness.

Diana the owner is a very kind person. She call me 3 times, to asked me opinions for the haircut of my dog. She did an amazing job, my baby looks so beautiful ???? and well she did magic on him. I will bring him again.

We took Archie our F1 goldendoodle to Hot Dog Grooming for his first cut and could have not asked for a better experience! Their staff was so helpful and nice and did an incredible job with our puppy. If you are looking for a place to take your dog for a good quality experience, this is your place!

Just moved from Washington and the pups desperately needed some TLC. We took them to Hot Dog grooming and they did everything we asked and the boys looked super handsome and clean. We will be consistent costumers from now on.

Don't go there. A butcher of a groom for my jrt. Pitiful and ugly work.

BEWARE!!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE! I picked my puppy up after being groomed with a bleeding paw, they took a chunk out of his paw pad. If you love your pet do not take them here!!! I called and spoke to the owner to tell her what happen and she told me that my dog did not leave with a bleeding paw, they have cameras, that I had an attitude and that I brought my dog in matted. Totally unprofessional and not the response I expected!!

I have been using Hot Dog grooming for 6 years. My fur babies always come back looking adorable and well cared for. I highly recommend.

Kind of slow and a bit pricey but the work is good.

Our dog is a biter, and I don't know how they get his hair cut, but they do it, and do it well! Only place that he has come back with a complete haircut. Anywhere else he comes back half groomed with splotches and they won't take him again.

This is the perfect place to take your furry friends! The owner and crew are so friendly and caring! Can’t imagine taking my dog anywhere else!

I have two Chihuahuas and was asking questions to see about booking them for a bath, nail trim and teeth brushing. The lady was unhelpful and wouldn’t answer my questions, except that teeth is $5 more. She wouldn’t tell me about any packages and kept talking about nail grinding, which I had said I didn’t want/need. I had mentioned to her that she wasn’t be helpful. Her attitude spoke volumes for this business. They obviously don’t care about animals or new customers.

HotDog Grooming always does a good job on my Bella! They also give perks for loyalty. I used to live in the area but moved about 25 mins away. I still bring my baby here!! Good value, great quality. I’ve been coming to them for over a year now, and I’ve never had an issue. And if I have had an issue (that I cannot recall right now), they handled it quickly and efficiently! So definitely bring your pets here! Highly recommend.

Maddie had a wonderful time here. Its always hard taking her some place new because she was a shelter pet and is very nervous. The staff welcomed her and was very attentive. Definitely will be coming back.

My fur baby Shadow is a mini schnauzer and has been coming here for years. Diana has always been so nice to my now senior dog and you can tell that she really loves animals. We have been coming here so long that he gets super excited a few blocks away cause he knows we are getting close to the shop. He always leaves smelling so good and looks like he was groomed from the Gods! Hot Dog is the only shop I will use no matter where I live in Houston.

Love it, very professional and they explain step by step all the process, they treat your dog like family it's a shame that I'm moving out of town and can't use them anymore

My dog came back soft and fluffy! The price wasn't crazy (5 hours of work descending a 73lb shepherd mix for ~$100). He seemed to be well cared for during his stay. We will definately be returning in the future!

I moved to Pearland and I still bring my dog here. She's very attentive to your pet! They love my little Mia!

I’ve been taking my girls to Hot Dog since 2016. The shop is super cute, the team is always friendly (my girls love em), and I’m always pleased with the haircuts. I also appreciate how easy they make booking appointments with their web portal.

This is one of the most genuine dog service places I have ever been to. They care completely about the dog and keep the animal’s health and happiness as the top priority. My dogs have been to numerous places and I can tell you this place works with you and your preferences. They make your dog comfortable and I have never been more relaxed trusting my babies to a grooming salon before. 10/10 would recommend to everyone I know!!!

I’ve been going to Hot Dog Grooming for 6 plus years and I always have had a great experience. Diane and her staff always take great care of my dog!

The groomer added fees for mats on my dogs. One of the dogs had minimal mats. The total charge was outrageous. We have taken our dogs here for several years, but we will be finding a new groomer.

The day I went it was extremely busy. Frankie was there for 5 hours. I wasn't happy with his face trim. Nevertheless I will be going back because I like the place and their budget bath is great.

We've taken our dog to several groomers (big and small) in the area since we are new to Memorial/Lakeside/ShadowBriar. Hot Dog has not only given us the best customer service experience, but has done the best job with our dog! They were also very accommodating to our and our dog's needs. My husband picked him up and had to send me pictures because he was so blown away at how great he looked!! We only really took him for the basic bath but he looks A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!! pricing is super reasonable for the quality of work that they do. We highly recommend Hot Dog Grooming. This is the only place we will be taking our dog to in the future!
