Best vet in the heights by far. Always friendly and informative. 100% genuine caring people. Can’t say enough good things about this place!

Dr Martinez diagnosed my dog and helped ease my heart. All of the staff were wonderful. My baby is doing so much better. Thank you all so much.

I will not call out the other vet clinics in the neighborhood that have not been great or even average but will absolutely tell you that this one IS the best! Take your pets here. Trust that they will take excellent care of your babies like they have of ours!

Heights Hospital is the BEST! They take care of my precious fur baby with compassion and tenacity! We recently moved to Galveston and we still drive in to Houston to be able to see this fabulous team. Definitely worth the drive!

I can’t say enough about how wonderful this group is! From the front desk staff to the Doctor. This was my first time to visit this clinic and as a first time pet owner they hit all of the important areas, professional, gracious, competent, punctual and affordable. Thank you to the entire staff for making my visit seemless.

I boarded my dog and they let her stay in the kennel And did not take her out to relieve herself, She won’t go where she sleeps, it was total neglect and she was frenetic and in pain when I picked her up. Last month the Dr gave her first year shot s by Accident because he did not read her record before giving the shots. She’s two, I said it three times to him but He did not listen. I worked in a pet hospital, I know the signs of neglect. I Thank God it was just two days. Never again I know my dog was not cared for properly. Lharvey

Very affordable pricing. EXTREMELY generous staff and above all my cat didn't seem scared of them or anything.

Sadly I had to put my dog to sleep due to age and a heart condition, 2 weeks ago. It was horrible, I couldn't even talk with all the crying. But at the heights they explained everything, and they made it easier for me. They understood what I was going through. They also explained everything. It was nice of them. Also not as expensive as I thought it would be.

From the moment I called, and spoke to the professional representative to the day of the appointment. I felt my dog was in great hands. The day of the appointment there was some confusion about parking and insurance and guess what they fixed and gave me more information that I did not know about. They helped me understand the preventative measures I would have to take to continue being a caring pet owner who was worried about his fur baby. THANK YOU ALL I APPRECIATE THE CARING AND PROFESSIONAL STAFF.

The staff and Dr Martinez are so responsive and I have taken my baby girl to them over several years now. Dr Martinez never orders tests that he does not feel are necessary. I also board my girl with them when I am out of town. Honestly the best clinic vet and staff ever!

We’ve been taking our dogs to Heights Hospital for Animals for years. We’ve had incredible service from receptionists, technicians and doctors. They truly care about our pets. After an office visit we always get a follow up call to see how our pet is doing. We would not trust anyone else with our dogs. Both Dr. Wen and Dr. Martínez go above and beyond to look after my dogs. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! THANK YOU HHFA for all your hard work! ????❤️

We have been taking our dog here since 2015. In 2019, we got a second dog and he came here too. We have always had such a wonderful experience with the entire staff - animal lovers through and through. We now request visits for big things with Dr. Martinez. He has been so wonderful to both of our animals that have experienced more ailments as they age and is very respectful and helpful when communicating. He never rushes. From routine visits to ear infections to hip dysplasia to lipomas to a better diet to anxiety - we have discussed a lot and have been happy with the treatment and quality of care. Thanks Heights Hospital for Animal Team!!

This is by far the most compassionate and educational animal hospital I have ever taken my animals. Both Dr. Martinez and Dr. Wen are very knowledgeable and truly care about the health of each and every patient- always going above and beyond. The technicians are always friendly and enthusiastically greet you upon arrival, and the office staff are accommodating and professional. I will continue to bring my pets here, knowing that they will always receive the very best care! Thank you for all you do HHFA! ????????

After switching to this clinic and having Dr Martinez and his staff take care of my 3 dogs, I would never go anywhere else! Dr. M really cares. He calls and follows up and so do his staff. They are compassionate, professional and always cheerful. I've never had anything to complain about. We LOVE them and trust them.

This vet never see’s new puppies until he gives them their rabies shot. What a shame and waste of money. We pay to see a Vet, not a tech! The vet had no clue about the effects of ivermectin with Collies & Shepherd breeds until I told him!!! My 7 month old Australian Shepherd had a seizure after being prescribed Trifexis! They might be nice but they are clueless! I would expect all Veterinarians to know “ white feet don’t treat” considering all the Shepherd and Collie breeds in the heights. Shame on the vets here and staff for not knowing the side effects that could harm so many pets by prescribing prevention meds with ivermectin! Find a different Vet!

What a disappointment? I purchased the PetAssure discount plan and specifically came to this office since they were listed on the PetAssure site. At my former vet, I paid about $200 for my dog's yearly shots and exam without an insurance discount. I figured with the added discount from PetAssure, that I'd certainly pay less at Heights Hospital for Animals. Boy was I wrong! I went a few weeks ago and paid $375 for the normal shots and exam- without a discount this would have been almost $450. I was told I needed to make a follow-up appointment for the second round of one of the shots I already paid for. I was told this was all included with what I originally paid. I just received a call that I needed to pay an additional $41 for the second round of the shot. I'm disappointed in the lack of transparency, professionalism and affordability of this place. I expressed this concern and at no point did anyone recognize my frustration or make an attempt to explain some of the items or difference in care between this office and my former office. Just goes to show it's all about the money and not about caring for the owners or pets.

I appreciate the support staff here a lot. They are one of a kind, truly. Dr. Jackson is very good with the animals, and the weekend docs are also great and consistently explain things well along with engaging a conversation about the care of my pets rather than a paternalistic mentality. The prices are usually comparable to my previous vet (probably a little higher given the area), but I brought my dogs in for a nail trim today thinking it would cost no more than $15 per dog, which is still more than I've ever paid (with nail grinding/smoothing). It was $35 per dog, so I paid $70 for nail trims that took less than 10 minutes. My manicures are less and they take an hour. I switched vets to be closer to my new home, but I'm disappointed more than satisfied with some services. I will call around next time before asking them to do extra services since these prices are unreasonable.

They always take good care of our dog DIogee when he goes in for check ups. He is a very shy and nervous dog and they are patient with him. the process is fast and simple to get seen and the personnel is amazing. If you are in the area and need to take your dog to be seen i recommend them. on pricing: i cant really compare since we have only taken Diogee here since the adoption but for his last visit it was about $400. that was 2 vaccines, heart worm test, fecal test, 6 months worm and flea treatment and some anti fungal medicine for his skin and nails. now for the only con I see with this place is the parking is limited but usually there are always at least 3 spots open when ive been on busy days so even the con is not really a con but for people with trucks/suv's or lager cars it may be. for my Caliber its no big deal.

I love this place! I moved to the Heights over a year ago and searched for a really good place to take my English Setter. She has multiple issues and needs a great Vet to take care of her. I found the Heights Hospital for Animals and have never gone anywhere else. Dr. Martinez is awesome! His staff is caring, friendly and personable. Dr. Martinez has seen us at the last minute and always calls me to follow up on my girl. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Martinez and his staff. If you are looking for a great place to take your pet then look no further. I am so glad we found Heights Hospital for Animals. We also kennel our girl there too. I never have to worry about Willow when we are away as i know she will be in great hands! Just love these guys!

Just don't try to have emergency treatment close to closing, they are ready to go home. Called and explained that our dog seemed to be having an allergic reaction, perhaps bitten by something. She was scratching furiously, pink hives developing in her abdomen, and swelling in the torso. We were ten minutes away and they were open another half hour. Nope, can't see you. Faced with possible life or death complications they valued quitting time more than the dog. One of four "doctors" who were to close to gong home to care. Pathetic. Edit: Five months after my review they add a comment that this was not the hospital I talked to. It definitely was. It was closing time and I could barely keep you on the phone. For you to remember a two minute conversation five months ago, when your receptionist was hastily trying to get me off the phone, seems a bit unbelievable. Why lie?
