Forest West Animal Clinic Houston, Texas

I ordinarily love these people. Excellent vets and caring technicians. But they are so over the top paranoid about COVID that I haven't been able to actually BRING my animals in for almost 2 years. It's all drop off and wait in the parking lot (the weather sometimes requiring the engine running for an hour or more). It's stressful on my animals when I can't be there to comfort them, and on me when I can't point things out to the doctor. Nobody else is locked down like this, and if this doesn't change soon I am going to have to find another vet.

It's great for my cats to go there they take great care of them and my cats are very happy. Our girl gray & white Nala and our white boy Uky Lynn we just love them to death. So Thank Y'all for everything when it comes to our cats ???? ????

The staff here are amazing! Everyone is always so kind and caring, and all seem genuinely happy to be caring for our sweet pets. The prices are very reasonable and their exams are thorough. I love that every veterinarian in the clinic that has seen my dog always takes the time to talk with me about the exam and specifically discuss my concerns without being dismissive (even about the little things). I appreciate finding a clinic like this in Houston and will definitely continue using them for my pups. Highly recommended!

The Doctors and Staff at Forest West are great professionals. They gave the best of care for all my pets for many years. Myself, Woody and Willie really appreciate them!

I've taken my animals here for years. The staff is respectful and tell you everything so you can make an informed decision. It's hard to find a good clinic, but I've found it!

Both doctors and staff have been pleasant, compassionate and thorough with all of my furbabies care and needs. They genuinely care about their patients and their owners.

Do not come here!!! Appointment was at 4pm. It's 420pm! Not even a person greeting or telling you what is going on. Then they bring your pet out and you wait another 20 minutes for them to process your payment and bring you your receipt. I called to tell them I was leaving and didn't even get an explanation or apology. So unprofessional.

They always take great care of our dog. You can tell they love their work.

Kind, consideration, and so helpful. The female Vet, can't remember her name, but when I needed to put my beloved cat down she was compassionate, and very much assured me, I was doing the right thing. I highly recommend her to anyone. I am new to Texas, from PA, and I feel very fortunate to have found such a wonderful vet.

Dr. Griggs and her staff are wonderful. They have taken excellent care of my fur babies for over 20 years.

Out little dog became very ill during the winter storm when many people didn’t have electricity/ including us. We called our vet... no one was working there, we took him to an ER vet and they could not get him in or would not, they referred us to Vergi, Vergi said it was an 8 to 12 hour wait. Then we drove around Houston and called multiple veterinary hospitals. Thankfully, we finally got in touch with Forest West Animal Clinic. When I called, I expressed our situation and wonderful tech who answered the phone, said she would not turn us away and so we went there. Soon after, Dr. Griggs and her team evaluated or a little baby and treated him accordingly. Dr. Griggs even called the next morning to check in on our baby. Looks like we have a new vet that we love and trust. Highly recommend.

Don't let the location or store front scare you away. This place is a hidden gem. The staff is very personable, approachable and the doctors go beyond your expectations. These people are passionate about pets and have low cost to moderate pricing!

My dog Poncho had an accident and needed urgent care. I called and they fit me in the schedule. I was so thankful Poncho was treated and made a full recovery. Very happy with the service and treatment.

High prices for such a small vet clinic.

Dr. Donna Griggs is the best vet in the world. She has been taking care of my pets for almost 20 years. I wouldn't even think of taking my adopted Greyhound anywhere else.

Friendly staff, really keep you abreast of what's going on with your pet. Especially since we can't go in during the visit.
