I really appreciated that Clear Lake City Veterinary Clinic was able to get my cat in quickly, and every interaction I've had with their employees has been great!

So friendly & they truly care about your fur babies! They always explain everything to you to help you make the best choices.

I am grateful for everybody on staff and chewy is too! He loves to go see his girls. I love that I am able to call and get quick appointments as well as my questions are always answered. Thank you all for everything you do for chewy and I.

Wonderful staff, the vet was also extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I can tell everyone at this clinic truly cares for the animals’ well being.

The best Vet! They have been there for my fur babies.

This place was a God send. After calling all over town and no availability, they were able to work me in late in the afternoon. The staff and Dr. Smith were very professional, kind and caring. They took their time to both listen and explain everything. They also didn’t try to run every test possible but instead tried to rule out first. Although my pup is still recovering tonight I trust their service and will be a returning customer.

Unfortunately I have to change my review to 1 star due to the current situation I'm dealing with. I tried to pick up my normal flea medicine for both of my dogs and was refused it even though all tests are current until next week. I wanted to get them their meds and get setup for the new round of tests but CLVC refused to honor their own tests and prescription. I was told I would have to get all the tests done first even though they said everything is valid. I used to love this place but I'll never go back now that they just scam people and lie about it.

Horrible experience. Absolutely the rudest vet tech I have ever encountered. I had a good experience with the dr on my first visit although I learned that this is a traveling vet and not the regular dr. My pet was still experiencing issues though and I came back for the recheck but left after over an hour of waiting without seeing anyone other than the extremely rude tech. There are much better choices in the area - pet owners be warned.

Dr. Smith was very knowledgeable and compassionate! Took her time to explain to me what's happening with my pet and we worked out a game plan.

Dr. Smith and her staff are great and always a pleasure to deal with. Appreciate that they're sensitive to price and help keep costs contained by not requiring an office visit for every minor request. I think I actually prefer the contactless system they deployed during the pandemic over the normal office experience.

The most caring and respectful veterinarian office I have ever been to.

My experience with this vet hospital was amazing!!!! We brought our new dog Tank here the other day. They figured out what was wrong with Tank and we planned out the next 3 months of treatment to help this gentle giant. Thank you to the vet and vet tech christina for all yalls help

Sad day... I'm currently unemployed and I was a vet tech for 16yrs. I came to this clinic because my old girl was ready to spread her wings as an angel, it was just her time. They made this process flawless. They did a phenomenal job in creating a nice, quiet atmosphere and even offered the exam room to us for the rest of the day, if we felt the need to spend time with our baby. I'm not the type that likes a long goodbye so they accommodated to my wishes. I want to thank the staff and doctor for welcoming us, so kindly, as first time clients. They graciously helped my Roxy pass in such a pleasant and comfortable manner. I can't imagine anything, that I would've done, differently. As a vet tech... 10⭐'s, as a fur-mom 20⭐⭐'s. Thank you, so much! I'll be returning with my other fur-babies when their annual exams are due. Thank you guys, Y'ALL ARE THE BEST! Heather Guillen

The vet care is okay but I feel like they are really pushy about follow up appointments. I'm not a vet but I suspect they try to draw out the services and treatment to keep you coming back. $60 copay isn't cheap. Usually I'm lucky to get out of this place for less than 150. Will probably find a new vet when they are done with their treatment.

Beware: they will administer medical treatment to your pet without consulting you. They don't let you go in with your pet. They think it's safe practice to assume your pets medical history and tell you they're sorry when they provide unnecessary, unconsented treatments.

My family has been using this veterinarian since before I was born. Now that I am an adult, I use it as well. I have never been more satisfied... with the way anybody, besides myself.. treats my little baby girl Roxy Lane. Keep up the amazing work Doctor Johnson roxy layne loves you.

These people are AWESOME!! My little 15 year old Chihuahua had a growth on her abdomen. They tested diagnosed it and are preforming surgery next week. I am trusting them with my Baby's life and I have no doubts that they will do all they can to get get her back to me healthy.

This place is horrible, incompetent! DO NOT trust them with your fur babies! They diagnosed our dog with diabetes and a thyroid condition and sent me home with insulin and pills . I called BEFORE the office closed that day because my dog seemed to be getting even more lethargic, not eating and non responsive, no one ever called me back . We had to take her to the VCA clinc that evening , It’s day 3 and she is still at the hospital because her condition was not addressed correctly and she was not given the proper care and attention at the start . They did finally call back the next morning after they received her a report from the VCA CLINC And saw how urgent this matter is. If you love your pet DO NOT USE THIS CLEAR LAKE VET CLINC UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES

What a refreshing visit to the vet! The staff really do practice what they say in that they clearly have a passion for animals. When vets we've used before have racked up charges on this test, or that test and let's try this, Dr. Smith truly cares not only for our furbaby, but us as parents. She recommended logical options and explained everything very professionally and compassionately. I've already told my entire office, in-laws and friends how great this experience was... and we just went yesterday! So thankful we found Clear Lake City Veterinary Clinic.

I bring my two kitties here and absolutely love this place. The staff is always very friendly and helpful, and make sure all of my questions are answered without making me feel rushed. They are AAHA certified which shows they take great pride in cleanliness and doing things correctly. We have been coming here for a year now and will continue to use this clinic.

Very caring towards our pet..

We have been bringing our dogs here for around 15 years. The staff is very friendly and knowledgable and they keep up with all our shots. The doctors are knowledgeable and communicate very well. Thru COVID I bring my dogs curb side and they are very organized and my dogs love all the attention. They use to have a Chiropractor for dogs and she is not there anymore that’s the only service that I wish they still had.

The staff are all incredibly nice and polite. They're very gentle and friendly to my pets as well. The doctors are rather intelligent and able to effectively communicate their findings. As long as this place remains open, I'll be a loyal customer because I fully feel that I can trust they'll take the best care they possible can of my pets health, wellness, and happiness.

Everyone was very nice, and professional. I felt like my dog was getting quality care and that I was being listened to about her symptoms. They communicated very well everything that they were going to do, and informed me of what all the terms meant and how procedures were done. All my questions were answered quickly and without judgement.
