New place smells MUCH better, very cutely decorated. Water pressure is too low so this equates to longer time to bath your cat. Time you really don't have! That's a major disappointment. Employees are nice, good with the animals, customer oriented. One of the owners is too high strung, nervous chatter, starts jumping all over the place in terms of subjects - irritating and when you are stressed because you're worried about your baby, the last thing you need is to be stressed more.

I took my kitten to get nails clipped and a bath, Deborah the owner was awesome! She took the time to explain what I need to keep Luna in great health even wrote down recommendations (so Knowledgeable) and had me watch (walking step by step) the bath and clipping Lunas nails

We had a great experience with short term boarding our 5 month old kitten while contractors were working in our home. I can't thank Catnip enough for bailing me out at the last minute and taking such wonderful care of our cat!

We left our cat here for 2 weeks and they almost killed it. I have attached before and after photos. When we went to pick her up she was half the weight we left her. The person kept saying that she didn't eat but that was too late as we were not informed of her not eating. The manager said she was not aware of my cat not eating. What kind of manager would not be aware what's happening at their place? I will never ever leave my cat at this place. I will not recommend this place to anyone. Now we have to deal with Vet bills after paying Catnip for mismanagement and animal torture.

Would not recommend or board my cat there.

This past Sunday 04/11/21 I took my baby Vito (Persian) over to Deborah Howell for grooming and I am so happy I finally found a place to take him where he is safe and taken care of. She did the whole brush out and shave in front of me. Very kind and all the staff is great! LOVE LOVE this place! Thank you!! She is very upfront and transparent! Love it!

Everyone who works here is so nice! They are very knowledgeable about cats and do a good job! Have brought my Persian to be groomed multiple times and definitely recommend. Debra is awesome.

I can't say enough great things about the groomers at this place. Deborah and Abdul are cat whisperers unlike anything I’ve ever seen. I have a very old cat which is grumpy at best. She needed a shave because she is too old to keep up with her very long hair. It gets matted and pulls her skin. She is too old to be sedated and that is the normal way when an older cat is shaved. Not only did they allow me to stay in the room with my cat, but they were able to get rid of all the mats without any sedation or harnesses. I’ve never seen anything like it. They just held her and loved her and shaved off all the mats. It was unbelievable. I can definitely recommend this groomer for grooming and for boarding.

The mother and son team that groomed my cat were absolutely amazing. Our cat loved them and they did an incredible job. They are very professional and caring. I am so glad we brought Mama here. We will definitely be back.

There aren't words to describe how I feel about this experience. After making 20+ calls and failing to find a cat groomer for something as simple as a fanny trim! But something that had been stressing me and my husband out so much because of the things that would get trapped in our baby boy's fluffiness and then transferred to our furniture - over and over again. They didn't have time at all but they squeezed us in. Not only that, Deb and Abdul somehow made my terrified kitty calm and fear free as they gave him a "Brazilian" PLUS cut his nails! He always runs away when strangers are around and scratches his way free when they try to touch him. He always screams when we cut his nails! But he calmly cuddled with Deb and sat still while Abdul cut his nails. I will forever be grateful to them for helping me out. Thank you so much Deb and Abdul for such wonderful treatment of our baby Dumpling ,and your wonderful treatment of me.

I brought my Sphynx in for a grooming. Very knowledgable and kind staff. I will be coming here from now on and I recommend everyone to do the same.

I was terrified of taking my kitty to the groomers as she has never been groomed before, hates being brushed/handled, is old (almost 16), and hates strangers. I knew she was going to be very difficult to groom and maybe aggressive so I was excited, but also reluctant to take her to Catnip Inn to get her groomed for the first time. I arrived and the staff was very friendly and got started right away. Both of the groomers were very gentle, patient, and kept reassuring me that they were being careful with her. I stayed in the room the whole time (which eased me a lot), talked to the groomers about my kitty, and they even gave me tips as to how to take care of her at home. Thy genuinely seemed to care for both my cat and I. I had such a great experience, this could have easily been something that went wrong, but I was so pleased with the outcome, I wanted to cry (lol). My cat was full of matted knots on her chest and her coat was dull and lifeless. Afterwards she was so fluffy and bright, even she seemed to feel pretty, and probably relieved that we got rid of those knots. Oh and they even trimmed her nails!! All of that just to say 10/10, highly recommend ???????????? (wish I could play photos but google isn’t letting me for some reason)

I love the people here. They take such good care of my kitty, Winnie, who is not the friendliest cat. They really take time to get to know your cat to personalize the care they give to each kitty. Winnie always left pretty traumatized from other boarding places. But she loves it here and when she comes back home she isn't anxious or anything. They will love your kitty! Highly recommend.

Like many others, my husband and I adopted a pet during COVID...actually, two. We fell in love with a couple of sweet gray tabby sisters in May and have loved being with them every day since! So, come October, a long-awaited trip to see family arrived and we were very nervous about what to do with the girls. Enter Catnip Inn: Deborah, Ashley, Abdul, and the rest of the staff are AMAZING. They love each and every cat they board and get to know their personalities. We were gone for a total of 9 days (!) and received dozens of photos updating us on their progress and happiness throughout. Thank you so, so much for taking good care of them! We'll definitely be back.

I’m so glad I found this place. The best and only cat groomers in Houston that I know of, but I won’t be looking elsewhere. They take such good care of my kitty. They also remember her and get so excited to learn she’s coming to see them when I call and make an appointment lol. All of the employees there adore cats and treat each kitty like they’re their own. The head groomer, Deborah is also very knowledgeable about cat grooming and feline health. She’s very good at answering questions and giving in depth guides on how best to treat or take care of your cat.

This place is reasonable and genuinely cares for animal. The lady at the front desk wont do any unnecessary service if not needed.

Ms. Deborah, Abdul, Ash, Eric and everyone here are simply marvelous! This location is the best place to get your cats groomed with care and love. The people here besides being genuine with the love they give the animals, they have fantastic personalities. Nothing life throws at them will keep them from mistreating your animals... Ms. Deborah and Abdul even gave my daughter their blue beta fish, Mr. Blue and tank with all the trimmings as a gift... Words can’t express the admiration I have for them all. I had to board my two cats there and they seemed to like it there very much.

A little over a year ago I was in the task of finding the right place to take our pet to make her haircuts (it is a Persian cat) and after several searches on the Internet and review the comments, I arrived at this place. Since then our cat has been treated with interest, kindness and above all professionalism. Their prices are reasonable and above all, they do not numb the animals to work with them, something that I definitely appreciate!????

There is something to be said about a place of business that has a sound understanding of what they do. This is such a place. Often those who are experts in their domain with so much knowledge to dispense - it often feels like your drinking from a firehouse as they go on a stream of conscious of raw information. This is Deborah - just filled to the brim of knowledge. Her team got our little guy Charlie washed up and cleaned. It was no easy task. This was first time being groomed. Their team was patient, reassuring and most importantly didn’t shy away from the task. At the end of it all, we got a clean cat, a bunch of new grooming tools on order, and a trip for some cat CBD. Yeah - Charlie is frosty right now. Thank you all for grooming our four legged family member.

Cat rescue it they have moved

Catnip Inn is where I took my diabetic cat to stay when I took out of town trips. They treated him like family and he received the best care. The staff truly love cats. Their new location is amazing. I recommend Catnip Inn to all the cat owners in my life.

Brought my Persian kitten here and I am so happy I did! The love and kindness that is shown is hard to find! My buddy looks amazing smells amazing and they gave me so much good information for me to learn to groom at home! I will go to no one else for my cats!!
