The young people who were working this evening helped my husband, and I find exactly what we needed for my stepdaughter for her show pig. Very helpful, and kind. Appreciated!

They carry most products with the best prices. I get left over garbage bags of hay for my ducks and pallets for my projects

I've been going to the mobile vet that comes there once a month for over 10 years. I've brought multiple dogs to them over the years and I've always had positive results. Gulf Coast Equine has multiple products for all your pets and products for your pets lawn.

Customer service is just so awful in the grooming department! The owner is very rude! I would say if your going to spend that kind of money go to a better place where you know for sure they will love your pet and treat them correctly! they show no respect for their customers

Always has our feed needs for Ag animals. If they don't have they get them in quick and call when in stock.

Smokey is so well-groomed, I continue to bring him her for his cuts, nails, etc. I would highly recommend their grooming salon!!!! Also, the store sells the best dog shampoo for itching & scratching, Biogroom, it smells wonderful!!! Thank you so much!!!! He's somewhat spoiled, so I know you will take good care of him!! And he got a facial too!!! Wow!! be So much better than the other places he has been!! Marcy M.

The people here are so friendly and helpful!! We also got the best and most affordable Christmas tree here this year. Check out the plant and feed selection. It's great! We even get our dog food here.

I have been taking my standard poodle to gulf coast equine pet grooming service for some time and could not be more pleased. Jessica is so skilled and meticulous in her service. She is always friendly to me and kind to my dog Hazel. People frequently comment on how well-groomed Hazel is and ask me where I have her groom.

I love this place. Georgie is an uncomfortable dog around people. They do a great job managing him. Jessica is absolutely fabulous. 10 stars if i could.

My 1st time buying from here. Do not recommend. I bought 6 shrubs less than 9 days ago, and they are all dying due to a disease on plant. On doors nor on counter does it say no exchanges nor refund. I brought 3 back got full refund. Then i said i was bringing the other 3. When i got here kim said they dont give refunds and she would only partially refund me. The 2nd round of 3 shrubs they kept all of them and only gave me back 22.28. When there 15.99 each. On top of that customer service is awful.

First and last time to come to this place no customer service rude people , no hello from the ladies at the counter. Out of curiosity visited next door grooming salon i asked the front desk girl if she could give me information for grooming my dog she wouldn’t respond just turned around like if I wasn’t there and walked away i was upset but I still wanted to know the prices and hours of operation so I asked for information to the girl who was actually grooming a dog at the time she responded my questions no problem Before I left I made sure I let her know of how rude people are at this place, never going back !

For 17 years I have been purchasing large amounts seasonally of color, evergreens, bedding mix and mulch. Until a few years ago I would drive by Gulf Coast Equine & Pet Center on the way in and out of Friendswood on an almost daily basis. I was purchasing plants at the big box stores only to lose them due to pests or disease after hiring crews to plant them. So, not only was I out the expense of the plants themselves but the cost of hiring crews to plant them. I tried other local mulch companies for bedding mix and mulch. Then, a few years ago I stopped in to just check out Gulf Coast Equine and Pet. They always say "better late than never" but it's hard not to beat yourself up over thousands of dollars down the drain over the years in lost plants. Gulf Coast Equine is well worth a look! Kim, the manager, goes above and beyond what any manager in any big box store or even other local competitors would even attempt. If they don't have it, she will try to find it for you. She is always on top of the game, super courteous and provides service with a smile instead of the usual, "If we have it, it's out there" attitude of other stores. Since purchasing plants there for the past few years I have not had to replant or replace unless it was of my choosing instead of being due to diseased or dead plants. Their plants are always healthy. I most definitely do not have a green thumb so once they're planted in my yard it's water only for them and their plants continue to thrive. Another perk is that every Tuesday is Senior discount day so that works for me as I can get more for my money! Do yourself and your yard a favor and check out Gulf Coast! Don't wait for 14 years like I did!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE!! The lady that works at grooming does not know how to cut dogs nails. She cut way too much and when I took my her home her nails were bleeding. I noticed every time I take my dog here she’s always shaking which has never happened with other groomers. I went to this place cause someone told me good things about it but after going a couple times and seeing how my dog reacted I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. I don’t think they treated my dog very well and that why she was always shaking and after I found her nail bleeding that’s when I knew this is not kind of place I should take my dog. ALSO I did call them when I saw my dog bleeding that lady basically didn’t really care. She told me put some flour on it and it happens all the time (which it doesn’t).

I go in to buy my feed and the young girl at the counter was having a lot of trouble ringing me up because she was too distracted by the other young girl behind the counter, i ask if maybe they are out of the feed i was there for and she said no and rang me up for it anyway. I pulled my truck up to the loading area and waited there for almost 20 minutes because the boy who loads feed was nowhere to be found. One of the young girls came outside of the store knocked on my window and asked my passenger if he could come outside and load the feed because it was “too heavy”. He found the first brand of feed i purchased and loaded it up himself but could not find the other brand. The boy finally shows up and is just staring at us while eating a sandwich. He confirms that they are out of the second brand of feed i was after so i go back inside for a refund and they were extremely rude to me and did not give me a correct refund and i just lost the money that i spent. I am never going back.

This review is for the groomers. The feed store is fine, but I don't have much use for most of what they sell beyond the dog food. However, the groomers are awesome. Your dog could get blasted by a skunk and you wouldn't be able to tell after they are done cleaning your pup.

Please DON'T listen to any poor reviews in regards to this AWESOME place. Kim is wonderful!!! She is extremely knowledgable, friendly, and takes time to answer questions and give advice from personal experience. I felt like I was calling an old friend who was giving me more than just information requested but answers to questions I didn't know to ask. Baby chicks are live animals; if they die it is in no way the fault of the store when they have been there for several days kept healthy and in a very clean environment. The other team members were also very eager to help. If you have a problem with the staff, maybe the problem isn't the staff......THIS PLACE IS GREAT!!!!
