Love going to the Cat Doctor. Dr Oeben is so wonderful and takes the time to really figure out what is going on with my two cats.

Dr. Oben and her staff are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I've been coming to them for ages - they extended one of my cats' lives by 8 years! Always reasonable with their diagnoses and with their prices. And they truly love and care for your babies.

This place is great! I had been trying to make an appointment for a while now but since they're so popular there's a bit of a wait time for available slots. I ended up taking my cat to a vet that could see him sooner, but I still wanted to keep my appointment with the Cat Doctor since their clinic is so close to my apartment and I really wanted my cat to be seen by a feline specialist. Dr. Oeben, Paul, and Susie were all really nice, thorough and genuinely interested in Honey Bunch. Wait time is minimal and the prices were extremely reasonable. Even though he was better at the time of his appointment here, Dr. Oeben gave me tips on managing his asthma flare-ups and gave me some medicine for his motion-sickness during car rides. I definitely want to keep going to them for all of my cat-related needs in the future.

I decided to take my cat to The Cat Doctor since he doesn’t do very well at the vet. Since I called, they’ve been incredible. I took my cat and they treated him so well. The staff and Dr. O were so kind and attentive. I came home and I found that they gave him a little cat toy which he is playing with. I can hear him playing as I type. I’m glad The Cat Doctor exists. Thank you so much!

A vet that genuinely cares!!! Amazing communication, transparency, and honesty. So helpful and kind! I just adopted 2 babies kittens from a foster family. They were just spayed/neutered and I was worried about the baby girls incisions. She wasn’t showing signs of discomfort and the incision wasn’t infected, but I was paranoid not knowing what to look for. We don’t have a vet because we were new to the area, and everyone I called was booked. They were booked as well, but they immediately asked for photos and got back in a timely manner giving me multiple solutions (sent me other vets they trust, their treatment, and they reassured me I was just looking at a little Razor Burn from the area they shaved.) She sent over other vets that could help immediately, and followed up within 2 hours… without being a current patient/client! We are booking their first available appointment for a checkup in late January. They went above and beyond for the babies when they had never met them. * I don’t leave reviews, but this one needed a 5 star. Incredible customer service and kindness *

The quality of care combined with the empathy of the staff is first rate.

Post covid procedures help make sure my cats during their appointments had their undivided attention, always available parking and able to get the full report without needing to feel rushed. I miss comforting my cats while they're being examined but the staff are already so friendly, my babies aren't looking so stressed when they're returned to me.

The folks at The Cat Doctor cared for our boy Rufus like he was their own. Thanks!

Dr. Oeben is so knowledgeable and helpful. She explains everything thoroughly and answers any questions you may have. Eileen and everybody else who works there is also very kind and they all clearly love cats. My cat was a stray kitten and her first checkup was totally free.

Dr. Oeben has been an awesome cat veterinarian for many years in the Montrose area. Her practice makes you feel like you're part of a family and her gentle and caring demeanor is like no other when it comes to caring for your cat.

I adore this place. Dr. Oeben is a very caring doctor. I wish there was a way to have more doctors like her because whenever I really needed help for my cats in their hour of distress, the office was closed. As I sit here looking for a place to bring my beloved Simon I am faced with having to find another vet again. The earliest appointment I could get is next Wednesday at the Cat veterinary clinic on White Oak. What are we supposed to do?

The entire staff is so thoughtful and kind and patient with us and our fur babies - they even sent our kitty home with a new toy (that she is still playing with)!

Dr. Oeben and her whole team are truly the best. I've had cats--a lot of cats--for 30 years, and they are the best I've ever found. They really care about your cat and if there is something they can't do, they will refer you to a place that can help. Absolutely recommend them 100%!

The veterinarian I trust the most. Dr. Oben is wonderful, and her staff has had almost no turnover in the 11 years I've known her. They stay organized, and appointments are quick. I'm hardly ever waiting more than a few minutes. That's important for cats that don't appreciate a Vet visit.

Dr. Oeben & her team were very professional and took great care of our kitties. Definitely believe we found a vet for life for our fur-babies. And, how can you not love a vet that sends home toys!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. O, Susie, and the entire staff. I’ve been bringing my kitties here for 12 years and will never switch to another vet. Sadly, one of our cats had kidney disease and needed to be euthanized-Dr. O even drove to our home in Bellaire to perform the procedure so he wouldn’t have the stress of riding in the car to the vet. She truly cares about her patients and always takes the time to listen and answer any questions. I also love that I can stay in the room the entire time my cat is being evaluated/examined. None of the “we’ll take them back” nonsense I’ve experienced at so many other vets. I only wish she could treat my dog as well!!!

Today was my first time at The Cat Doctor. I adopted a kitten a couple weeks ago and was searching for a new vet. I’ve had plenty of experience with vets in the past as I had a kitty who was with me for 16 years before passing away last year. The Cat Doctor is by far my best vet experience ever. The doctor and all the staff were so nice, caring, and on top of everything. Further, the exam was complimentary as a new adoption and the vaccine was very reasonably priced. In the face of COVID-19, they are doing curbside. So they come to the car and take the kitty in and the doctor talks with you over the phone during the exam. I felt very safe and knew my new fur-child was in good hands. On top of that, as I sat waiting in the parking lot, another car was there. The gentleman rolled down his window and in conversation he said he was there on short notice and they said they could fit him in. He said he’s been going there for some time and praised the great work of the doctor and staff! I definitely recommend The Cat Doctor!

Wow!! I can't say enough about the staff here I will not use another vet for my Cats. They were fast, efficient and safe during Covid and on top of all of that reasonably priced.

This is an award worthy business. Great customer service, nice people and fantastic work. This is the place to go.

Dr. Oeben is great. My cat was recently diagnosed with diabetes and after dietary changes didn't help, he was prescribed insulin. Throughout the whole process of figuring out proper dosage, Dr. Oeben encouraged me to call her any time I needed. I'd call the office and she would always get back to me same day to discuss a forward plan based on the latest data. this level of quality care and availability helped us figure out correct dosage and treatment and get my cat into remission. Obviously this will not be everyone's end result, but I don't think we would've achieved it without the outstanding help from Dr. Oeben. I don't think even I, a human, have received the level of follow-up care that they afforded my cat. 10/10 Would recommend.
