Carter’s Pet Market has some of the best ,if not the best prices on premium & exclusive products in the city that they don’t sell in other stores. Trust me I’ve shopped around having some picky Frenchies . I would recommend that before you walk-in , call ahead , More than likely whatever products you are looking for they will have it! I use to live closer to Memorial City but relocated to Montrose/ Midtown and there are so many pet stores but I never stop anywhere else. I really appreciate the business and I will continue coming here for years!

Very friendly and helpful and took the time and interest to talk to me to discover what my almost 20 years old cat probably needed in her diet to help her digestion. She's much better now, and is running around. Big difference...I had thought she was going to die. Needless to say I've been back.

Nobody usually does any work or pay attention there

I normally stop by for dog food, but today I brought my dog (Chocolat) for a bath and I have to say it was top notch service! My dog smells better than me ! Will definitely be back!

I needed Ziwi Peak canned cat food for my girl kitty who is diagnosed with IBD. Ziwi Peak has 97% meat, organs, bone and moisture like the cat's natural diet so it costs a little more. I can't imagine losing my baby girl kitty so I decide to budget for it (drinking coffee at home than at Starbucks, for example). Ziwi Peak, however, is carried only in a few stores in Houston like Carter's and Kriser (but not at PetCo) because of a shortage at the manufacturer. I called in advance and one of the sales associates Sergio, was able to locate the brand and he even held a dozen cans for me at the counter. When I got there, he was helping another customer so I looked around and found my Ziwi Peak canned cat food right away. Sergio answered all my questions and made some helpful suggestions re: chews. I highly recommend Carter's Depot!

They are angels. My foot was injured and Jordan the manager brought my Buddy his food and treats.

Really nice people. Always helpful. Grroming service is great Huge selection of pet food and thry take the time to explain the differences in al the selections. I love that they carry those big bags of dogwood to my car.

I'd give it zero stars if I could. why is the SECURITY GUARD WASHING MY DOG IF HE IS NOT A CERTIFIED GROOMER. Never coming here again.

Staff is consistently friendly, helpful and seem to really enjoy taking care of my fur baby! Doggie Daycare is excellent, store is well kept and I have used their boarding service once and was confident that my Chica was taken care of.

Awesome selection of healthy dog and cat food. They offer a bag program for some brands where if you buy a certain amount of bags you get one free. I've never used it but they have doggy day care and grooming services as well

I have a hard time finding the dog food that are not from specific stores. However, I was surprised they not only carry the food I needed for my pups but also all the more popular food brands as well. Prices are reasonable. The place has an in house grooming that I need to try out some time. -RIP Tequila (The 13 year old Beardie)

This place has the only dog bones that my Chihuahuas like, and everyone is so nice over here! I'd definitely recommend this place to any pet owner!

If I could give this place 0 star I would!! I have been coming here for a while and spent a lot of money!! This place was great at first and even got to know the owner in the beginning. A bit expensive but I would pay more for top notch service. My last few visits it has bend going down hill. Finally today this place really upset me and lost me as a loyal customer. Last Sunday I came in looking for a particular dog food that I wanted to switch up and like the last few visits they ran out. The manager (Jordan) assures me we can do a special order and will be in on the following Tuesday. I asked him are you 100% positive. Because my wife will be coming in out of her way from work and The dog food we have ran out. I want to make sure it will be in on Tuesday. My wife gets there and the manager says it’s not in. Because the manufacturer is backed order. So I called to get an explanation and the manager says I’m sorry but there is know way of knowing and that he was informed just 2 hours prior to my wife’s arrival. Now I have no dog food and my wife and I just spent the whole night looking for dog food. Thanks carters per market!!! I will no longer be coming here and I will refer others to avoid this place!!!

Super friendly and I love how great their selection of dog toys are. I love that they’re always so cheerful and love playing with my dog when we come in.

Used to be a monthly customer for pet food and treats. Unfortunately they have now consistently been out of my dogs food. I had them order it and was assured they’d call me when it was in. Radio silence. I go back and they tell me it’s ordered but that they can’t find it and again they promise the manager will call me with an update. Radio silence. I got in my car, ordered it on Amazon, and two days later it came to my door 20 dollars cheaper than the price I usually pay. Very disappointed with Carters and they have lost me as a monthly customer moving forward.

Its pretty clean decent but everyone in there are so rude! You politely ask for something and says " GO GET IT YOURSELF "

By far my favorite place to shop for our pets! The staff has always been so incredibly helpful and actually knows about their products. I had the chance to meet the owner recently and he also has a ton of knowledge and recommended great products for a foster I have. I highly recommend thia place!

We brought in our two dogs for a nail trim and the groomer was great with our dogs. All the staff was very nice!

Carters is our favorite pet store. They have a great mix of national and small business offering. The customer service is consistent from top to bottom and the cleanliness is unmatched. Trust me!
