Brittmoore Animal Hospital Houston, Texas

We heard recommendations about this place from several people but I won’t be coming back. The place is pretty outdated, the staff is nice but my main concern is the professionalism of veterinaries. Valerie Devaney was extremely rude to me on my last visit. I have a puppy so I did have many questions. She seemed extremely irritated when I asked her anything, and her answers were short. Last straw for me was when she said my dog would have a heart failure because I was giving him grain free good. I felt like it was so insensitive but besides that I didn’t ask for her opinion regarding food. Believe me when I say I won’t be returning again, I felt so upset afterwards, how can you tell someone with a puppy he is going to have a heart failure. I feel like veterinaries there are very old school with their knowledge, and they have to be nicer to their patients.

My little Sammie was brought into BAH this AM for an emergency c-section. She had the first pup last night at home at 10, but has had issues with the others. We’re still awaiting the outcome (fingers crossed for healthy puppies), but despite how emotionally and financially painful this could be in the coming moments, the people responded with CARE. This is what you want from those providing healthcare when you need it. Update: BAH managed to save 1 of the 2 pups stuck in Sammie. Things were looking grim, so I consider this a great success!

Best Breeding Clinic out there

Wonderful and caring staff! They are very transparent about procedures and pricing. Reasonable pricing for everything compared to places inside of pet stores. Had to take my cat here for bladder issues and got everything situated within two days. It's also a great best place to pick up specialty pet food! As of this review you can come inside the office but they still also offer curbside as well!

Amazing vet, great knowledge, extensive services. This is the place you go when you want the best. We drive an hour each way to bring our pets here, and we have a lot of them.

Great place for your dogs needs that’s all folks

We own bulldogs and Britt more Animal Hospital is the best. We have always received great care for our bullys. The staff is courteous and caring. I would recommend to anyone.

Been coming here almost 20 years. Great staff. Dogs are always relaxed and not stressed out after visiting the techs and vets.

I felt very comfortable with Dr. Matt Dikeman. He did a spay and upper airway sugery for my Frenchie. Brittmore has excellent technology that monitors the dogs oxygen, heart, and over all body functions during surgery along with a certified person watching and monitoring my Pet. Bulldogs and smoosh face dogs need special treatment unlike other breeds. I highly recommend this establishment and will continue to take my Frenchies back to him!

Seriously so grateful for the kindness shown to my old boy as I had to put him down. He had been sick for so long and we did everything we could but unfortunately it was his time to go. I was so afraid that I wasn't going to be able to be with him while he was being put down but they allowed me to be with him. Their pricing was very fair, but mostly, their kindness was just the best on one of the hardest days ever. I can't thank them enough.

We've been going to Brittmoore Animal Hospital since we got our first cat years ago and most of my family has been going there for years as well. It's one of the best in Houston! The staff and veterinarians are nice, knowledgeable and helpful every time. Dr. Reiman is a genius with cats, but also specializes in dogs.

My visits are always great! The ladies and doctors always takes great care of my pups and are respectable to my time... even in these crazy times with Covid-19! On top of that it was pouring raining and they didn’t miss a beat! Love this place for my pooches!

Nothing could have been done better for me and my French bulldog. The staff and Doctor were amazing. The four hour drive was worth every mile. Wish I lived closer so they could be my permanent vet.
