I am very pleased with the staff at Briargrove Animal Clinic. I brought my new kitty to have a check up. Every one was so nice and professional. I could tell they love the animals they see. I would definitely recommend this clinic.

I have been taking my pets here for years & have always been pleased with the professional services my pets have received. Dr. Schultz came on board a few years ago & bought the business from the other Dr's as they retired. She has made some drastic changes that needed to be done to modernize the business to todays standards. The new building, 5 stars

We've been taking our cats to Briargrove Animal Clinic for several years now, and wouldn't go anywhere else. Dr. Kurtz, Dr. Lee, and the entire staff always take great care of us.

Staff is Amazing. I came in as a walk in in tears and a nervous wreck worried about my fur baby. I am not from the area. I found the clinic frantically driving to find a vet. Staff was very kind even in my moment of panic. Surprisingly they are also very affordable. I appreciate staff being very empathetic and sympathetic about my concerns. I highly recommend bringing your fur babies here! I was so excited to hear my boy Prince Charming is ok, I dropped my debit card in the lobby and staff called me immediately!

Nice new facilities. Staff is very nice and caring with clients, the 2-leg and 4-leg clients. Dr. Kurtz and Dr. Lee are professional and knowledgeable.

We recently made an appointment for a unexpected visit as new patient . Clinical Staff was very accommodating got us in same day. They asked for medical records to be transferred and process was very easy. Dr.Lee was very thorough in her exam. Dr.Lee’s assistant(Dennis) handled my PITBULL with care. Dennis is very efficient by the time Dr.Lee consult was done Dennis had all my pups meds ready to go. This office is very Thorough, fast in a good way and will definitely be transferring for long term care of my pup.

Been taking our two westies to Dr. Kurtz here for a while even though we live ~25 minutes away in the Heights. They provide great care, honest and direct communication (which I really appreciate) and reasonable prices.

I’ve taken a few animals here over the years. Back when it was a smaller establishment, and now when they’ve done a complete ground up remodel. It’s a fantastic facility, with amazing and caring vets, techs, and everyone else. They also don’t break your bank account, as their fees are very competitive. I reall can’t say enough about them. If you live in this area, or even don’t mind the drive from wherever, be sure to give them a try. You will be happy with your choice. : )

I’ve been taking my fur baby achilles to Briargrove for over a year now. The staff is friendly, they remind me when my baby shots are due, my fur baby has Addison’s disease which requires monthly shots and check up and they make sure i don’t forget. They’re Covid procedures are outstanding, any emergencies they fit me in right away, normally the same day (that i appreciate the most) i know how hooked and bust the dr.’s. Hey are renovating the entire place and i can’t wait to see the new look. Briargrove will definitely be our long term Vet. Oh.... his favorite part is the after visit treats ????????

This was my first time here—I have my usual vet but they refuse to allow ppl in during visits. My baby boy (choc lab mix) was suffering from some sort of allergy which caused him to scratch all night. After looking at reviews, I decided to give Briargrove a try and due to the fact they’re located less than a mile from where I live (how’d I miss that?!?). Anyways, the experience from start to finish was incredible. From the intake staff (Shirley was so sweet and understanding and quickly provided me same-day appointment opps for my dog), the vet tech (Ray was so gentle and super knowledgeable; I immediately felt my baby was in good hands when he came out to walk us inside), to the Vet (Dr. Lee was very attentive and thorough w my baby and laid out the best plan of treatment). I am so grateful for this place and will likely be making the switch for them to be my baby’s PCP. Thank you guys for your kindness, professionalism, and genuine care for my baby. I’m incredibly grateful for the service I received and very happy that my pup is on his way to feeling better!!! Check them out guys, they’re great!!!

My husband recently tried to take my small dogs to this vet and they did not want the dogs to enter the vet at their scheduled time. Instead of calmly asking my husband to return to our car with our dogs, Sherly Ramos, an employee at this vet, frantically and rudely slammed the door in his face and THE DOOR WAS SLAMMED ON MY PUG'S FOOT in this process. I have no idea what was going on in Ms. Ramos' mind, but my dog is in pain today! Ms. Ramos' co-worker apologized to my husband but Ms. Ramos never bothered to do so. Needless to say, we will not return to this vet, and if my dog has sustained a permanent injury, they will be hearing from us again to recover money from damages.

We just returned from taking our two cats in for their annual check up and shots. We have always found Dr. Kelley Kurtz and her team to be welcoming and professional, but we wanted to commend them for their ability to maintain this high standard during COVID-19 and social distancing requirements. When we booked the appointment we were informed clearly of the changes (call when arrive, technician will come to car etc), and we were extremely impressed at the teams diligence throughout our visit. Our girls always receive the best treatment here and I would recommend Briargrove to any friends!! Thank you from us, and from our fur babies River and Shiny!

Dr. Lee has been wonderful with all my felines. Tigar had reversed eye lashes and she preformed his surgery. Dr. Lee is through and compassionate to the situation. Many of my friends now use Briargrove Animal Clinic and are very happy.

My lovely mini schnauzer has a liver condition. I ended taking my baby to Briargrove Animal Clinic because I was looking for a second opinion from a well known place in town. Keep in mind, my dogs are my children (I also have a mini poodle). I remember calling, afraid because I could lose my baby, Sherly connected me with Dr. Kurtz right away. I got a same day appointment, and from that point forward, Sophie (my dog) and I have nothing but EXCELLENT experience and treatment. My dog is healthy and safe, thanks to Dr. K. as she has been able to treat and manage my dog's chronic condition. Also, my poodle, who is a senior dog (13 years old) gets his care including teeth cleaning without reservation. Did I mention that this is the only place where my time is respected as they keep there appointments ON time!, even my husband who sceptical about the medical community likes to go there. This is by far the Best Vet ever, Thank you Dr. Kurtz and your team for caring for my family members

Great customer service from start to finish. From the ladies at the front desk. Sherly Ramos was very kind and efficient. She was able to squeeze me into the schedule, I got in and out quickly with no problems since I had no luck with other clinics due to my work schedule. The vets and the rest of the staff was extremely friendly, very kind, and made me feel comfortable and heard all my concerns about my dog. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone!

I made an appointment for my cat just to get there and be told I'm not allowed inside because of covid, they are doing "curbside only". I totally understand if they don't want to have people inside but it's really shady not to say anything until I'm already here. I had to wait for an appointment and I could have just gone somewhere else. I'm also wearing a mask and am aware of and observing social distancing guidelines. Extremely dissatisfied that this information was not disclosed when I made the appointment.

I am very happy I chose to go to this animal clinic to get my cat checked up. Dr. Lee, Desireé, Michelle and the staff there were very gentle with my pet and answered all my questions. I was comfortable as they did not pitch any products to me as other veterinarians have. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a local vet clinic in Houston, TX. Thank you!

We visit with our foster dogs which is irregular and dogs change yet the doctor remembers our dogs & treatments. Never had issue with scheduling/availability, well priced , never felt as if I am upsold or unnecessary procedure is being suggested. New facility has just been completed all modern/fresh. Covid guidance in place but you can go in with your pet! Reception punctual/friendly. Had issue with one assistant 3 different visits ; resolved by him not catering to our needs. Happy with the place.

New to this clinic . I was allowed to go in with my fur baby. Everyone wore mask and followed protocol. I was able to be there and discuss problems with the vet. By doing so she was able to point out a problem with his one tooth that I had to watch. Plus be able to give me a web site for dog food web site. Very impressed. I will be going back.
