For a VetCo this place is amazing. Dr. Garretson us an incredible vet who is truly there for the care and well-being of your animal. She thoroughly understands and assists you in understanding what needs to be done and how they do it. On top of that she is a vet that will find a treatment that fits your budget and is very helpful in exploring your options to fit what's best for your animal. Personally I wouldn't see any other vet for any of my animals. Would give 10 stars if possible.

We brought our 6 week old kitten here to be checked out. The staff was so loving and amazing with her! She had a couple parasites which they addressed and they were very informative on what we should do moving forward. We definitely have found our vet for her.

My bf and I took our cat to this location as she was dragging her legs behind her, Dr. Samuels was her vet and was extremely rude and insinuating we abuse our cat and her first recommendation was we put our cat down, she didn’t want to give us medicine for our cat and was saying I don’t think she needs it when she clearly did. Took our cat back to be seen again 2 days later and she finally gave us medicine and only believed we weren’t abusing our animal when my bf broke down crying about thinking of having to put her down. She Lacks empathy and compassion. I would not recommend coming to this location

Some of their employees are nice and actually care about your pet. The past 2 months I’ve been back twice because what they’re giving my cat isn’t really helping his allergies. It really seems they just want you to keep coming back and not really help your pet. They took him to a private room and the whole time I was just outside not knowing what was happening. Went to the location in Frisco even tho it was far for me because my cats allergies got really bad and needed the soonest appointment. Service was way better and the vet seems to care too but my cat is still not better. I’ll be finding another vet soon.

I adopted a dog, and wanted to get her checked out and ask some general questions, as a new dog owner. I tried to get an appointment, at this location, in Highland Village, but they did not actually have a veterinarian, in the office, that day, although they were open (I’m not really sure why they open or what the staff does without a doctor to see patients besides make appointments). They were helpful enough to let me know Frisco had openings. So, I took the 30 minute drive, for peace of mind. Instead, my poor dog was diagnosed with Heartworms. I decided to transfer my dog to the Highland Village location because it’s closer (Heartworm treatment involves a lot of visits to the vet, and one where she’ll have to stay the day for observation), and it was easy because they could see her records from the other location. She had blood work and an X-ray done by Dr. Samuels, in Highland Village, who seems extremely thorough. She is the reason for the two stars. But tonight around 6:15, I noticed worms in my dog’s stools. So, I called the office (which is open until 7), and no one answered. I left a message because it was during office hours. I waited about 10 minutes and figured I’d give it a shot and drive up there. At 6:45 they were closed. I called around, and was told this location is known for closing early or all day (if they don’t have a vet on staff). So, if you’re looking for a reliable office that has a vet on staff during their published (both online and on the front door) office hours, this is not the place for you. Luckily, wonderful people exist, and the person who answered the phone at Flower Mound Emergency Pet Clinic was very helpful, extremely informative, and very patient. Im taking my dog back to the VetCo, in Frisco, tomorrow because at 6:50 they still answered their phone, and were able to schedule an appointment on a Saturday morning. However, I may be looking for a much closer vet very soon.

I went here with my cat thinking it was going to be $200 for the vaccines, worm tests, and medicine. Their packages you see online made it out to be like I'd be spending $150 but I like to plan ahead so I asked them how much it would be. They said they had a package for about $170 for all we would need. But I tacked on extra just in case. They wanted my cat to go on a prevention plan with a medicine call Revolution Plus which made a grand total $300. They knew that I wasn't comfortable with the price, yet they didn't recommend any other brands or medicine. They also seemed less willing to help me when I considered looking somewhere else. It wasn't until after I said I'd pay for the Revolution that the vet mentioned further measures to take to prevent my cat from getting fleas, ticks, and worms. It just felt like they were trying to sell packages and medicine than trying to help my cat.

Absolutely happy with this place!! Our puppy Kali had an accident and her eye was messed up so upon going to a different vet they immediately wanted to remove the eye. The cost was too expensive at the time so we decided to go to a different vet also for a second opinion (as removing an eye is a big decision) and our second opinion was vetco at this location. All of the staff were very helpful and very friendly I immediately felt okay with my pup being in their hands! She was still scheduled to have a surgery to remove the eye at the time so we made an appointment for the next day. The price was incredibly lower than what previous vets had offered. The next day after dropping her off for surgery the doctor gave us a call and said we would be able to save her eye! Kali is doing great and still has her eye with full vision!! They honestly did great and everything and were able to save my baby’s eye!! Communication is everything to us and they updated us quite frequently. I highly recommend Vetco.

I was only 15 minutes late to my appointment for my dog and was told I would have to reschedule or wait to be worked in. That’s ridiculous! I was still there so they should have seen me immediately. Don’t go here!!!

I brought in my dog of 10 years for the first time. The office was clean. The nurse and vet were SO friendly! It was a difficult decision of putting my dog down. They listened to me. They comforted me. And most importantly made my dog feel comfort in her last moments. The prices are also affordable. I will be using them from now on.

The staff is very friendly. TThe vets are okay. Ask for prices before they do something.

Was a very pleasant experience to be greeted by a friendly staff right off the bat! Wait was not very long regardless of how busy they were, and the staff made it a priority to apologize. The only factor that took off the fifth star was that the floors had not been swept in awhile, leaving dust in the corners. However, the overall service was quick, simple, and they managed to get my pup his last round of shots.

I love this vet! We bring both of our dogs and always have a great experience. They always call after any procedure and make sure our dogs are doing well. Our dogs don’t hate the vet because they treat your pet with the exact great attitude and respect they give you. They genuinely care and always have us taken care of! We’ve had so many last minute emergencies and our dogs are always taken care of. They are very reasonably priced as well!

They have great hours compared to most local vets and the staff is very friendly, competent, and helpful. The vets are also very competent even if a little quirky. I saw a few different vets there with my dog and cat and they were all knowledgeable and competent and pretty friendly. The prices are comparable to most vets in the area and even a little better. They do want you to keep your pet’s vaccinations up, but that is to be expected. As with any vet, I find asking vets to ask for approval before doing anything or giving anything to my pet is always a good thing as well as requesting updates if I have to leave them there and asking for estimates up front on the care. Good communication goes both ways. Overall, I highly recommend this vet office for the Denton/Highland Village and surrounding areas. They do a great job!

The veterinarian's primary focus here is on your pets health. Not on selling you products. I love it and I love that he was not dismissive and very open to hearing my concerns and settling them. Will definitely come back for any other needs I might have.

I love the vets, but not the company and their policies and prices. Watch out for their sneaky practices and fees

Had a great experience here in highland village. Got right in at 9am Saturday, no office fee, veterans discount applied, kind staff that did not pressure me to buy other services, products. June 2019-The assistant as well as the vet himself did a fantastic job caring for sweet pup. The Assistant actually went above and beyond in her caring for our sweet Aussie. Much appreciated and SemperFi !!

Love the staff and vets - I took my first dog to another vet that was charging out the wazoo, now my second is on the monthly plan and all of her appointments have been quick, easy, and helpful. They do very thorough checks to make sure all vaccines work and my puppy is safe!

I do like this location of Pet Vet. They offer a great program for your pets health and maintenance. On site, xrays, blood lab and other services. The 3 veterinarians I've work with at this location love what they do and take the time to educate pet owners on their pets' health. Only reason I gave this place a 4 star and a 5..is because theirs a is turnover in technicians.

I was shaking by the time I got off the phone with these people. VERY AGRESSIVE and not helpful. They are Obviously Not interested in the health of your pet, just making money! The vet was VERY aggressive and would not see my animals because my records are in storage because I am in the middle of moving. She wanted to RE vaccinate my animals on top of there vaccines wich can be harmful! She would not answer my direct questions and just kept pressuring me into bringing my baby in REGARDLESS of my wishes NOT to RE vaccinate. (My pet. My choice.) I do not over vaccinate my babies! My cat has been in the care of a holistic animal consultant and is improving. I only wanted a second positive checkup to be 110% . I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. On a side note, the employee Justin that i spoke with in person was very helpful and interested in my animals health! Very informative and caring! That gentleman is all this place has going for them.

Went to get my dogs vaccinations, loved all the staff except the actual vet. I mostly dealt with the assistants, but when the vet came in to do the shots he didn’t say hi or even look at me, the 2 times he did speak to me he was rude. I will only come back because of how quick we were in and out and the other staff members were so great. I hope next time I get a better vet to deal with.. I probably wouldn’t recommend this place, for the vet alone, I like friendly people.

It's nice to have a place to take your pets that does not charge an arm and a leg. It was easy to get in and there was not much of a wait. I will definitely come back here.
