The Staff and Dr. Thompson are always in a good mood and are very responsive to my pet's needs. I like this facility very much, they have been taking care of my dogs since 2009. During all these years a few dogs have crossed over the rainbow and the staff and Doctors have very caring and helpful to make it easier on us. I brought my new puppy in for his shots and we are start over with a new puppy and I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I left another clinic due to lack of quality care and I couldn’t say enough good things about family pet clinic. My dog had knee surgery here and has had follow up care ever since. The value and prices are fair and I feel the genuine care for my pet . The staff from the front to the back are caring and attentive. We left our appointment today feeling grateful

Our pup has been coming here since she was 3 months old and she's now 3 years old. We adopted her and didn't want to switch her vet clinic and we're so happy we didn't. Family pet clinic is the best! We have friends that complain about other clinics because of the price or the staff and we have always been pleased with this clinic. 10/10 we highly recommend!!! They're real animal people and show that love and care for all animals and they are always very considerate to the owners as well. Look no further and bring your pet here for all their cares and needs. ????

My family loves and trusts everyone at Family Pet Clinic of Grapevine. They’ve been our families one and only vet for over 10 years. Both, Dr. Thompson and Dr. Steele are compassionate, caring and just overall, amazing! Love, love, love this office.

I have been bringing my dog here for the last 4 years or so. Last week we dropped him off for a dental and mass removal under his chin. Everything had been going great with his recovery until about a week later I noticed his chin looked swollen again, fluid had accumulated in the pocket where the mass was removed. I called the office and spoke to one of the techs. She relayed my strong concerns to the vet, Dr. Steele. I received a call back about 30 minutes later stating that it was my fault that this complication occurred, the Dr. did not care to try to get us in to be seen the same or next day. We followed all recovery instructions as directed. This is a complication from the surgery she performed and she blamed us for it. I have never seen anything so unprofessional and disrespectful. My concerns about my dog were so rudely brushed off, I was in shock. I told them I wanted my dog's medical records and we will never be back. I do not trust a doctor that will not listen to their patients/family concerns and blame them for it.

Just moved to the area and travel with my dog for work. We couldnt find a vet that could get her in by the next day until we contacted this one in particular. Everyone was so sweet and knew her by name by thw time we came in and they all complimented her and pet her. The vet was very affordable for what we had done that day and I couldnt be happier with how they treated us. Highly recommend and I will be using them as my vet from now on. All records from previous vet were transferred (all the way from Indiana) and they even faxed our new records to my old vet in case I ever end up there and have to go to them again. 10\10 all the way around.

My regular in town vet was completely booked for the week and my geriatric dog had just suffered never before back to back seizures. My vet recommended Family Pet Clinic as a reputable alternative and I'm glad they did. Staff was very friendly and kind towards me and my sweet old lady. They took great care of her and would highly recommend.

No star only put 1 star because I have to Staff did seem friendly but didn’t give me any possible detection of what with wrong with my dog koda besides old age which is expected at 17 yrs old. This was a walk in appt and I was running behind due to my dog vomiting but was charged a late fee of $15 dollars yet when I called and said I would be late the said ok we will take someone ahead of you and it will be a wait so what is the $15 for ? I am at another vet now and they are giving a thorough evaluation and knew what was possibly wrong soon as they looked at my old man sad that I could have found this out yesterday ????

My cat got a scratch on her ear that became infected. This facility got her in and out quickly while still giving my cat the attention she needed. They were personable, and they did not charge an arm and a leg for treatment!

UPDATED MAY 20, 2021: We as a family cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Thompson, the vet techs, and office staff here at Family Pet Clinic of Grapevine. Caring, kind, they all understand your pet is family and treat it as such. Treatment options always presented so you're aware of the cost options up front and time is taken to explain the positive/negative aspects of each. You understand what your money buys in varying treatment options - something over many pets and clinics looking back has always been lacking. Have there been more that one option to treat your pet? Did you know or ask? Here you don't have to it is presented and explained. Thank you for your honesty and caring. They are very concerned about your pet's health and Covid-19 safety for the hoomans and staff. I'm EXTREMELY nervous about handing over my 60 pound baby dog to anyone and was fine doing so with Dr Thompson's staff. They call you following the examination, present you with both the treatment options AND costs, receive your approval, proceed, and bring your doggie safely out to your vehicle. I was very anxious about this change due to Covid-19 but everything was handled perfectly. I thank them for the wonderful care of my precious dog and follow up with lab report and prescription. Highly recommend this practice and no reservations!

These folks are very pet friendly and professional. Highly recommend them. Close to home, reasonably priced, same services as “fancier” clinics.

Do not go here! I’ve been a customer for 5 years. They charged me for a year of paw plan and wouldn’t honor it at end of the year. $600 for nothing in return!!!

Our dog Banksy just had a wonderful first visit! She is a rescue and tends to be very timid towards people, and everyone she came in contact with did their best to make her visit a positive experience. So happy to have found such a wonderful vet in the neighborhood!

I have taken both of my dogs to this clinic and have not had any issues. They are affordable, have payment options, and are thorough. I have been pleased. My Bennie had surgery and they handled him with care and even dealt with my millions of questions with grace.

I’ve been taking my dog to the Family Pet Clinic of Grapevine for almost 4 years now. The staff is phenomenal and Dr Thompson is the greatest vet. They are caring and compassionate and truly love animals. They careful explain options and costs before they start any procedures. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new vet.

We had a Monday morning appointment for a spay. Apparently over the weekend some staff tested positive for Covid. While I completely would have understood them calling me to cancel for this, they did not. Instead we drove over an hour with our puppy who was denied breakfast only to show up to a closed business. VERY unprofessional that they did not call in advance, even if over the weekend! I only used them because the services were paid for through an adoption agency but I will NOT drive back again! I would rather pay for it out of my pocket than deal with a group who has no regard for their customers.
