I called to speak with my fur babies doctor about her possibly having a cold. I its been 24 hours and just now getting a call back saying the doctor will need to see my fur baby. I explained to the receptionist I need to speak with the doctor about a few concerns and was told the doctor (hayes) does not want to speak on the phone and I need to make an appointment. Very disappointed with the service and the care/concerns this office is showing when it comes to my fur baby. I would have thought the doctor would have called and listen to my concerns then he could have told me to make an appointment.

I really appreciate the staff and Doctor. I've been so worried about my little dog and they helped me and him. Very caring and understanding!! Now it's been 2 weeks since I was there and I'm on Social Security so I have spent 500.00 andy dog is still suffering. I've tried to tell them that the medicine is not working but haven't had it changed. I'm beside myself and so very sick about this. I have no idea what to doAmd all they tell me is take him to the emergency clinic. It's all about the money!!! I don't have any more money and my baby is paying for it. Makes me sick!!! Doesn't anyone care about the pets?

Penny Paws is great. They give an estimate for care upfront and even give options. Staff is awesome and great with my dogs, even my German Shepherd who hates everything.

The older lady at the front desk is absolutely rude! I drive my dog from Little Elm to Grand Prairie to see Dr. Hayes who I have been following for some time now. I ran into an interstate that was shut down today and caused me to be about 30 min late. After getting inside I could hear the whisper of my dog not being seen. I explained to them how I ran into a shutdown highway, and had to maneuver a new route. They didn't care and told me I had to pay $55 extra for my dog to be seen or reschedule. I figure after all the money I spend on visits to this place, and all of the other pet clinics I pass on my 50 mile trip here that someone would have a better understanding. I asked to speak with Dr. Hayes and they told me that I need to make an appointment to see him as well. I have never been so embarrassed in my life. There are other clients that referred me to this place, and after I explained to them what happened, they too have decided to pull their pet from this place. We are going to the local news media and make them aware of the unreasonable actions that take place here. To tell me that I only had a 15 min grace period is ridiculous. I will be pulling my pet's records and I will NEVER bring my dog here again! The level of customer service is deplorable. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS MONEY!!!!

One of the best vet clinics I've been to in a while and reasonable on prices. As someone that takes in dogs from the streets to get them in shape and a forever home this is my new go to vet!

They use to weigh my pet and also examine them. I also received my rabies charm in my hand instead of putting on the dog. Not a good experience this time maybe because of COVID

My dog had an ear infection. Great staff, great place.

The assistant vet tech was very condasending, & in a hurry to get rid of my dog and myself. They didn't do anything for his problem besides give him antibiotics they didn't clean it the wound or give him his pain medicine. I would not recommend taking your animal here because if you care for your animal as much as I do you will be very unsatisfied with the treatment you received at Penny paws!!!!

Went to the one in Garland clinic. Never showed.

Money Hungary, my dog stayed a few days there and came back with sores and bloody, I don't know what happened and they made up some stuff about this and that I assume they just kept him lock up most of the time, since he's been home he's been hungry and thirsty more then usual and he's acting a tad bit strange. Their interested is charging high prices! Never again!

Very loving and caring staff

We were happy with our first visit to Penny Paws. We arrived a few minutes before our appointment time but were promptly taken to an exam room. The office staff is friendly and professional. Dr. Hayes does a great job with our golden retriever. During the wellness check, we appreciate the thoroughness of his exam and his explanation of what he’s looking for and why. He has a great ‘bedside manner’! Our retriever received her annual shots but we were told that the Lyme vaccine was not available at Penny Paws. We are hoping that they will special order the vaccine and we’d be more than happy to bring her back for that.

Took my older dog in with an ear infection. Turned out they were both bad. They were gentle with him and took great care of him.

The attention was wonderful and the explaination to my concerns and questions were straigth forward.

Great place to get your dogs shots at . The nurses where very helpful and answered questions I had about my dog . They were very patient , my dog isnt the most calm and definitely put a fight when getting his nose shot but they didn't give up on him . Great place and great prices

I love their service and their prices on everything except for one I don't know who she is but she always has an attitude on the phone.

At first I was nervous about taking my pet to the vet, but when he got there he was treated with treats, patience and care!

First experience was great, but since then every visit has just gotten worse. I’m always the one having to update them on my dogs previous visits, instead of them having it documented in her file. She never sees the same doctor and again, each one acts oblivious to her history because the info was not properly documented in her file. I’ve called several times to speak to a doctor and every time it’s the same answer, “we’ll have the doctor call you as soon as they’re available “ and never get a call back. To get a prescription filled Is ALWAYS a process. Very dissatisfied and disappointed with this office.

Don't go here thinking that 'Penny' in their name has anything to do with their prices, other than that it is good place.

Very nice and thorough ran Animal Shelter. They keep notes on the animals to help find the right home. Instead of just handing an animal to you.

Dr. Hayes is wonderful and he's always been great with our dogs! He explains things clearly and as simple as possible so that you can make the best decisions for your pet. We drive 35 minutes from Dallas to see Dr. Hayes so we clearly trust him. Our family highly recommends him!
