We boarded our cat, Forrest for a little over a week. He did absolutely wonderful. 5 stars isn't enough for this place.

Best cat boarding facility ever! Cats stay in individual rooms appointed with cat trees, beds, blankets, toys and litter boxes with heart designs in the middle. Staff able to give meds to my big baby, Panda. I'm worry free while away.

Boarding my babies here was the best thing I did! It didn’t feel like I was leaving them with some random people. It felt like I was leaving them with a close friend or relative that I knew would take excellent care of my babies. The photo updates were so great! Even though I missed them on my vacation I feel like they had so much fun that they didn’t miss me during theirs!

Jennifer and her staff are super friendly and very attentive! My cats have the best experience here , they enjoy the birds and music and toys provided! Highly recommend to any cat parent !

What a great place. They took care of our five-month old kitten for nearly a week. They were extremely kind -- and tolerant of her aggressive behavior. They even sent her home with a new mouse toy and several feathers. Really pleased with the experience given that we were hesitant about boarding her at all. Very highly recommend!!

OMG, I Am So So Grateful For Finding Whiskers!! I was moving from San Antonio and needed to find a Nice Place for my two large cats! I looked at several places to board my cats in San Antonio and did not care for any of them for several different reasons! I then started searching online and found Whiskers over 100 miles away from where I lived. From my first call to Whiskers I felt so relieved after speaking with them! They were so incredibly nice I felt totally blessed because I felt my cats would be cared for nicely! Anyone needing to board their cat or cats would be very kind to them to board at Whiskers. I would have drove over 200 miles or more if I had to, for Whiskers to board my cats!! Thank You Whiskers!!!

This is the Only place to board your babies! I take my 5 year old Bengal, and the staff is excellent! Plus, their cat food and toys are so reasonably priced. I wouldn't buy my cat toys, or beautiful scratch posts anywhere else. Jennifer and Twyla know how to care for your fur babies, and only sell the best.

Not cheap, but a safe, friendly place you can trust for your cat's vacation. They also stock cat trees, food, and toys.

This is hands down the best boarding resort for your cats in all of central Texas! We dropped off our 3 cats here for a week in one of the larger rooms, and they had a great time! The room had little platforms all over the wall for the cats to climb, there are cat trees, and a large window with a view of outside and a bird feeder for the cats to enjoy. Jennifer and Twyla were both very impressive and display an amazing appreciation and understanding for cats and the care they need. Your cats will feel at home here and they won't be stressed out while you're away, and you'll have peace of mind too. At first glance, the prices may seem high, but if you shop around other boarding facilities you'll quickly catch on that Whiskers is not asking for much for the amazing quality they deliver. Other places were charging exorbitant rates for what was basically a shoe closet for the cats to stay in, and most of the time they were dog boarding with cats being secondary guests. Whiskers only keeps cats, they play nice soothing music, and they will follow any directions you have about your cats routine. Totally recommend this place for anyone who needs to drop their cats off while they're away!

Whiskers gives me great peace of mind when I take long trips away from my babies. They're cat lovers - very experienced, knowledgeable, gentle, and patient. They follow any special instructions to a T. It's a peaceful but stimulating environment for the cats with soft sounds and lots of birdwatching opportunities. I love this place! My cats always have too!

My cats stayed there a few years ago when I moved to Austin, and they loved it. Great lil store in the front too! The owners are very friendly and helpful ????????

My cat was 8 yrs old and had never been boarded. All the staff plays with him. This visit he has a window facing a bird feeder. Last visit his room faced a hamster.

Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Their cat 'rooms' are excellent. Our 2 cats were flown here from Honolulu when we moved. They have been there 3 weeks and are doing great. We visit every other day

I was nervous to board my two cats because it would be their first time, but the people at Whiskers made the whole process as smooth as could be. Everyone was very nice and they made me feel that my cats would be safe there from the first moment I walked in. The rooms they stayed in had plenty of space for both of them and my Siamese loved their sky box. The whole place is clean and quiet and they even have birds or gerbils next to the rooms for the cats to look at. When I returned from my trip I was really impressed with how well my cats had been treated. The staff knew what they’d been up to right down to how much they had for breakfast that day and I was amazed to see how happy they were. Both of them are pretty shy so to see them that comfortable with the people and their surroundings let me know just how much the staff cared about them. I would highly recommend this place!

This is one of the best cat's only hotels in central Texas and a super friendly staff ,they have a huge supply of feline supplies including high quality cat furniture

I can't begin to tell about how awesome this place is..... but I will try! My sphynx cat, Jalepino, has been going there periodically for about a year and loves being there because he gets so much attention and impeccable care. A few months ago he started developing very smelly diarrhea, losing weight (despite increasing food), his spine and hips were getting bony (losing muscle mass), eyes glossy, skin tugor poor and very lethargic. I was getting very scared and had him to the vet several times with no answers or even any suggestions except a bill and another appointment for in a month. He has cardiomyopathy and is on heart medicine twice a day which was not getting absorbed due to the diarrhea. I also took him to his heart vet concerned about this but they had no suggestions either except to say his L ventricles had thickened since last checked. I was so worried and didn't what to do or where to turn. I was going out of town and was sending him to Whiskers but was getting nervous about leaving him in this shape but they assured me they could help him by changing his diet. WOW!!!! I was gone 1 1/2 weeks and when I picked him up it was a MIRACLE!!! They had put him on a frozen raw diet feeding him 4 times a day in smaller amounts with sprinkles of a certain probiotic (without the added extras) and TLC. Everything about him improved him drastically! Energy level "off the charts", eyes and skin healthy, formed stools every other day with NO smell, and hips/spine much improved. They took the time to care and have considerable knowledge of food and the holistic approach to caring for cats. Jennifer and Twila are angels that sincerely love cats and pets in general, as well as, the whole staff. I am so glad I had to go out of town because I think it saved his life. You will not get better care and love than Whiskers, I promise!!!!

Great place and great people

These people live and breathe cats. They all own cats and love cats. They take the best care about truly love what they do. I love all the special touches like the caged birds and gerbils that give your cat something to watch rather than being bored. I didn't worry about my cats while we were gone at all. I missed them but knew they were in great hands! Please let me work here!! ????
