He is very good dr. He is the one to go to. The other one down street on same side, don't go to. I had bad experience with.

Dr. Tarlton & his wife Lana are the best (& cheapest) vet office you can find in the Austin area. They host low-cost shot clinics pretty often & are very accommodating to their customers. You’ll often get a busy signal on their phone line but it’s worth calling back later. They are truly a blessing to have in Georgetown.

Took my Frenchie puppy for a check for a kennel cough vet said he was fine didn't even take the time to tell me what I could do to help with cough felt very rushed. Seems like it was a numbers game for them. Wish the vet could've advised to do an x-ray to see the severeness of my puppies cough. Well his cough didn't stop so after a week I took him to a different vent who took x-rays and said that my baby now had pneumonia and fluid in his chest and didn't have a good survival chance so I had to put my baby down. I wish I could've taken him to a different vet so they could've done their do diligence, I would've paid to have test done or whatever treatment he would've needed I would've done. Please if you pet is sick don't go here it's better to elsewhere even if you have to pay extra. My heartaches, wish I would've taken him to a different vet.

I do love this place but lately i haven't been able to reach them to schedule an appointment, are they closed? If not someone please tell me their new number or someway i can reach them!

In a few words I would say - “If you are looking for fuss free, good quality care for your pet - this is the place to go” Today our puppy had a surgery for treating cherry eye. I must say how smooth the whole thing went! Last afternoon I saw Dr Tarleton at his office it was the shortest vet visit I have ever had ! This was our first time to ever meet Dr Tarleton and Doc addressed the issue that is evident on snowy’s eye and asked if I could see him early tomorrow . I said yes and he said “see you at 6;30am and pick up the puppy at 11am” that’s it!!!! I was surprised and wanted to know more what’s going to be done and Doc talked about the procedure in few words and that’s that.. next morning our pup is dropped and picked up at 11 am ! And guess what he is treated for the condition in the best possible way and oh the price is fraction of what was quoted to us by other vets for the same procedure!!! Finally happy to see some ethical vet practice around !

For the first time in FOREVER (since 1999), my appointment time was actually the time we were seen. Love love love them. So worth the trip from Kyle. My girls' new best friend.

Love Austin Ave Animal Hospital. Dr. Tarleton is great with all our pets. The prices are great and they have saved me tons vs some of the other vets we have used in the past.

Dr. Tarlton is a wonderful caring vet and has always been great with all our animals (mainly dogs) over the years. They are always busy but it's because he is very popular. We have been going to Austin Avenue Animal Hospital for many years.

Absolutely the BEST! They took care of a flea issue with my furbaby... with no appointment! They are so caring and loving to our "kids"! I won't go anywhere else. Affordable and truly looking out for animals and their human parents! Call after hours for an appointment and leave a message! Be patient!!

Dr. Tarleton is the best! His practice is a family operation and they are just wonderful! I have been using Dr. Tarleton for my pet's needs for 15 years. I moved to Killeen 4 years ago, but I still drive to Georgetown to take my pets to Dr. Tarleton. ????

Absolutely love this clinic. There are vets and there are VETS THAT CARE! This team (Dr. Tarlton, his wife and son) is amazing and GENUINELY CARE :) They are affordable and their low-cost vaccine clinics throughout the year make it possible to get affordable pet care for all of our pets year round. Watching them give that needed extra attention and the compassion shown to both the animals and their owners keeps us coming back. Definitely recommend.

Superior, friendly vet services. Boy, how can they be in business with prices so much lower than all the other vets?

First time to this clinic. They got us in and out, with no ridiculous charges that many vets tend to do nowadays. From calling to make the appointment, to checking out, everyone was friendly, efficient, and responsive. Thank you for helping getting my little guy back to his normal self.

My poor boy Samson suffers severe allergies. His last vet was draining me without ever really helping him. I called Austin Ave. Animal Hospital and got an appointment for him to see if we could do more for him. We get to the office and they take us back immediately (Samson is a 98lbs intimidating boy) and within minutes the vet was in and talking to us. He immediately knew what was going on and offered an allergy shot, we were out in minutes and were told Samsom should be feeling better within the next day or so! I am so happy this vet was recommended to us! The price was very reasonable (like I said, our last vet would has been known to drain my bank). This will be where we take our furbabies from now on! Thank you!

Dr. Tarleton is a phenomenal veterinarian. I am so glad I found his animal hospital. He is knowledgeable with years of experience. And I really value the fact that he is honest and affordable!
