I’m grateful we were referred. We were able to be seen at our appointment time and everyone was so friendly.

The vet here was great, super attentive to my new kitten and clearly loves the animals she is helping. The vet techs were so wonderful as well, I was going to a different vet previously and have changed my pets to the care of Animal Hospital of Georgetown after a bad experience at my previous vet. I am so happy that I chose Animal Hospital of Georgetown and wish I had been here always.

Bad communication. I made an appointment for my anxious, sometimes aggressive from fear dog. Two weeks out was the wait. They said they could prescribe a sedative for the appointment, and someone would get back to me with instructions on how to pick it up. It’s Friday. My appointment is Monday, no one called me. I called them and now the story has changed: they will not prescribe any sedative until they see him in the office. They make me wait two weeks only to feed me a line of BS. Maybe other people at the office are more responsible, my only interaction has been with the same young man. Highly disappointed. Edit: I’m not frustrated by the “ethics” of providing a dog medication, I’m frustrated because your employee a) said you could do this and b) didn’t call me back like he said he would. Had that happened two weeks ago when I initially made the appointment there would be no frustration on my part.

Archie isn't the best patient... he's a finnikey cat but they treat him with so much care and patience! I don't know what I would've done without the Staff and Vet! Thank you guys so much!

While I realize COVID is a huge concern, health clinics are seeing patients and cleaning the exam room after each patient. If the CDC guidelines are followed, it should be okay to be in the room with your pet...even if it is sitting in a chair away from the exam table. Not meeting the vet was hard, especially since this was my first visit. I cannot attest to his examination method. Perhaps when we are allowed back into the exam room I can give a better evaluation.

We moved to Georgetown a little of a year ago and went to Animal Hosp of G’town based upon a neighbors recommendation. We could not be happier. Their compassion and caring is always on display. We recently had a dog who suffered a rapid demise and they were so good to our dog and us. Highly recommend them.

The staff here has taken good care of my dogs, and they are fair when it comes to pricing. I have also learned they make sure you are reminded of your pet’s upcoming appointment. Perhaps they should continue curbside appointments permanently so I don’t have to be present when they wrestle with my hounds—and endure the embarrassment that presents. Ha!

This place is always so kind and caring to our little bloodhound Gracie. Very informative staff and they show genuine interest and love for the animals.

We have gone to this vet for years and believed we had an ongoing customer relationship with them, however my husband stopped taking his schnauzer to them when they refused to investigate his concerns about a lump on his back after multiple complaints, he took him elsewhere and they found cancer was the issue but by then it was stage 4 and we lost him. I kept taking my dog to this vet however, thinking it was just an unfortunate oversight and we had been there for so many years. Later my dog was diagnosed with a stage 4 heart murmer which became worse after this vet suggested a dental be done. After much discussion and reassurance i acquiesced. Now his murmer is causing seizures when he gets excited so I called them and asked if I could please accompany my dog on this appt as he gets terrified at the vet visits and this could induce another seizure. Even if I wore my mask and took proper precautions the phone clerk said no. He wasn't the slightest bit concerned for the health and well bieng of my dog, nor did it make a difference that I have been taking my pup here for over 10 years. He simply said if I need to accompany my dog on the visit I would have to go elsewhere, very matter of fact like. WOW, my advice to ANYONE looking for a vet in this area, bypass this one, take the clerks advice and go ELSWHERE. They don't care one bit about my pup or our long term patronage and I definitely now wish i hadn't felt any loyalty toward them and that I had left them when my husband did.
