Prickly Pear is super convenient if you need pet vaccines with short notice. They are low cost walk in clinic, I was seen and out the door within 20 minutes. I’m actually bringing my Husky back tomorrow for her leptospirosis booster. While I’m talking about the lepto vaccine I want to stress the importance of your dog getting that vaccine. Lepto isn’t talked about enough but this vaccine can save your dogs life since its easily contracted and leptospirosis can be fatal if you don’t seek medical treatment. Talk to your veterinarian about your dog getting this vaccine.

Very affordable prices and good place to get simple check ups done. Note that if your pet is sick, they won't be able to thoroughly check the issue but they recommended other places which was very helpful.

First time here and it was a very good experience. It was a Saturday and I didn't have to wait very long. They put me in a room right away so my cat wouldn't be scared. It was not busy, so not a lot of loud noise going on. The staff were friendly and I appreciate that they are still wearing masks even though legally they don't have to. And their prices are super reasonable - not really much more than Emancipet where you have to wait for hours.

Friendly, efficient, lovely, & affordable. The staff treated my cat with love & we were in & out in half hour. Awesome place. So glad it exists.

I needed to get my pets vaccines right away for an apartment. They were professional, quick, and great with the dogs.

Our service was pretty quick and the staff was nice. My only issue was that they told me my foster cat was spayed when it was not spayed.

What a great little vet clinic for wellness checks and vaccinations! We love our regular vet, but who wants to pay almost $100 (if not more) every 4 weeks for puppy shots and wellness meds!? This sure beats waiting in long lines in an HEB parking lot, too! I walked in today (Saturday) and was out in less than 20 minutes. Our puppy got a check by Dr. Hilla, first vaccine, two rounds of deworming (one they give for you to give 2 weeks later), and started on heartworm prevention all for $40! That's unbelievably awesome. I highly recommend you go here for simple vaccination and wellness prevention needs!

*FAST AVAILABILITY * CARING STAFF * FLEXIBILITY for worried pawrents I just got home from Prickly Pear Pet Vaccines and it was totally worth the 25 min ride there and back. I called them today morning for availability and there were ready to meet us. They're a new clinic and getting a fast appointment comes super handy for us pet pawrents in these strange COVID times when all vet clinics and mobile vets are packed. Super kind and caring staff and doctor! I am a very anxious pawrent and they were very flexible and accommodating to my requests. They handled my 100lb dog and 5 lb kitty cat very gently, took the time to get them comfy before the exam, and both got the chance to have a treat before the Rabies shot. They kindly asked me before offering the treats, to avoid tummy upset in case one of them had a sensitive stomach. I am incredibly happy, they totally made my day. So much so that I kind of wish my other cats' Rabies would be due sooner, so I could meet them again. Haha Great experience, highly recommend this place.

Got my pupper all up to date with his vaccines this weekend, service is quick and super friendly - couldn't be better! Dr Hilla has a soft touch with animals and my pup barely noticed all the pokes. This is my go-to vet for preventative care!

My puppy was distraught (who isn't at the vet?!) but the technicians were so nice and sweet to her. The establishment is very clean and calm. Their services are very affordable - especially for new pet owners who need all the shots. We will be back!
