Centerville Road Animal Clinic Garland, Texas

Been visiting Centerville Road Animal Clinic for years, drive from Plano now cause I don't want to find another vet. Competent and caring, can't go wrong here.

I took my doggie Jasper here for the first time a few days ago. They luckily had a last minute appointment cancel and I was able to get him in the same day. The staff were all very nice and helpful, they took good care of my doggie and the total cost was a lot cheaper than expected! I’ll probably come back at some point to have his teeth cleaned as they offer these services.

Very friendly, helpful and our animals are all past 20 years old thanks to them.

Ive taken my prior Shih Tzu here for a combined time of almost twenty years and I WILL NOT be going back. There has been turnover of employees and the new ones are immature, unprofessional and sloppy. One tech walked out of the room and slammed the door and could be hearD laughing outside with other techs in the hallway. I mentioned this to Dr Stanek, she just looked at me with no comment. Dr Stanek doesn’t give the same care, customer/dog attention as before and appears to not care much either. When they took my dog back to test him for heart or tape worms he was gone for a long time. Dr Julie had stated prior that due to my dogs prior response to shots, that we would split them up. When I reminded them of this and that in case he needed shots to treat tapeworms etc that I had concern for all shots at once, a conversation that made again the tech walk out and slam the door when I asked for someone else. A different tech brought word that Dr Julie didn’t have any concerns. A long time later my dog was brought back and I’m told that that gave him his needed shots and treatment for tapeworms “based on what I told them” but he came back negative. Prior visits, my pup would be in the room and I could witness all of the shots or meds being given to him and also his physical checkup. Guess with Dr Stanek those days are fine. Now you’re not told what they are doing, not present when they get their shots or meds but have to trust that staff, some who have already exhibited immaturity gave your pup the shots needed and treated them gently. Prior I would witness Dr Julie look at my pups ears etc and check them out. Not now. None of that. They take him back. You wait. Unsure what I got that day. I pray that my pup was given the shots he needed I know that day he didn’t get the care and proper attention he needed. He’s scooting his butt and I will be researching throughly to find another vet immediately. I hope Dr Stanek will take care of herself so that she can stand long enough and checkout pups throughly and give the type of attention and care she used to give and that if she’s gonna continue practicing have some type of concern for customer service and her staff.

We have been coming to Centerville Animal Clinic for over 40 years. Always receive excellent loving care. Dr Julie is the best. Wouldn’t take our pets anywhere else.

This place is horrible do not EVER TAKE YOUR DOG HERE!!!!!this place is does not!! Save our fellow dogs!!!! Dogs are ppl to an they just dont give 2 sardines who dogs they are never go here

It not a good vet they gave my dog a virus and the owner started talking rude too me my dog dying from that place

Very profesional and caring. Even though my German Shepard is not trained they saw her and made good recommendations.

The people here are friendly, attentive, and answer questions thoroughly. They treat my fur baby kitty very good. Thank you.

Have been taking my pets to this bet for over 20 yrs. My dog is 17 and has cancer. Is time to say goodbye. Never expected to be turned away. They cant even fit him in. Have told us to take him somewhere else,they are too busy. Heart breaking. I will be finding another vet. Sad

Excellent care provided to our dog during and after the surgery. Staff was very cordial.

If you’re thinking of going here, BE PREPARED to wait at least 3 hours for your furry one to see the vet. They only have one ☝????vet on-site. We were not told how long it was going to take when we called ... and BE PREPARED to spend an ARM a LEG another ARM ????????and another leg ????????make it ☔️ with ????????????

I moved to the area recently and found Dr. Stanek through a google search and got so lucky! I am a very new pet mom and she answers all my crazy questions thoroughly and patiently. :)

Dr. Stanek is very nice, but some of her female staff members can be rude at times.

I brought a stray dog to this clinic that I had picked up nearby, in a fairly high traffic area. I wanted to check for a microchip to try to get the well cared for dog back to it's owner. The vet was very nice, took the time to scan the dog for a chip (none), and gave me some pointers on internet use of Facebook etc. to assist me. Less than 8 hours later, the owners claimed the dog. Coincidentally, the vet's advice had been followed.

It is an expensive service, and you need to set up an appointment. I ended up with a $400 dlls bill for all the "necessary" tests they did. They did their job at trying to find what was the problem with my dog, but they couldn't come up with a solution. Unfortunately, my dog didn’t heal, and two weeks later after the appointment we had to put him to sleep because he was suffering a lot. It turned out that he developed a huge tumor in just 2 weeks. They did multiple tests, and they couldn’t find that out. Since they were not able to find a solution to heal my dog like detecting the tumor on time, I am giving them 3 stars.

The staff is friendly and so obviously cares for every animal that comes I to their office. All of our pets have gone here.

I wouldn't want to take my pets anywhere else. The staff here is great and actually care about you and your furbaby! They also have connection to a close by 24/7 emergency pet hospital.
